Horizons is a annual forum for learning about psychedelics. It is hosted by Judson Memorial Church in New York City. Psychedelics are a unique class of psychoactive drugs that have been used by humans for thousands of years. In the 1950s and early 1960s, academic research with psychedelics yielded important discoveries in psychology and neuroscience. Just a few years later, they entered popular culture across North America, Europe and the world.

Questions about their safety, medical value, history and implications in politics and culture were unfortunately answered with numerous myths spread by both their users and the media. The millennial rave fever brought a similar wave of popularity and hysteria.

Recently, a renaissance in psychedelic research and dialogue has taken shape. Horizons brings together the brightest minds and boldest voices of this movement to share their insights and dreams for the future.

Daniel Pinchbeck is one of the founders of Open City, an art and literary journal. He was a 1999-2000 Fellow of the National Arts Journalism Program at Columbia University and has written for many leading magazines. Author of 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl (Tarcher/Penguin, 2006) and Breaking Open the Head (Broadway Books, 2002). He is also the Editorial Director for Reality Sandwich.

Recent discoveries in the nature of DNA have overthrown the idea that man is genetically fixed. The Human Genome Project has uncovered two interesting facts about human genes: a) man has 30,000 genes( only 300 more than a mouse) in the human DNA; b) only 10% of the human DNA is used for coding and reproduction of proteins; the rest –approximately 90%-- is known as junk DNA which scientists have considered garbled and redundant. However, the Russian Branch of the Human Genome Project , headed by renowned Dr. Pjotr Garjajev, has uncovered the linguistic and psychic capabilities of junk DNA, ushering in a re-evaluation of the human gene in terms of words, wave genetics and a grammar of spirituality.


According to the findings of the Russian Scientists, the genetic code follows the same rules found in human languages. By modulating certain frequency sound patterns on a laser ray, they are able to influence DNA frequency and genetic information. The most interesting aspect of their discovery is that simple words and phrases can work just as well as laser beams. Man can literally reprogram his genetic blueprint through words--which explains why affirmations and hypnosis can have powerful effects on mind and body.


This discovery also points to the significance of sound frequencies and vibrations in the origin of human life and the possibility that creation was generated by waves of consciousness. The Phantom DNA effect is a case in point: the energy field of a DNA sample remains detectable by laser light even when the physical sample is removed. At a fundamental level, man is pure energy. In Wave Genetics, the junk DNA functions at a rich infrastructure level of super codes and wave communication, realized in material form as crystalline structures—dynamic gene-holograms in liquid crystals of the chromosome continuum. What this model suggests is that the human gene is part of larger holograms (multiverse) of wave information reality. Hyper-communication, in the form of remote sensing, remote healing and telepathy, is definitely a part of the human protocol.



Is it possible that the linguistic structures of the human genome point to a form of universal speech, a grammar of spirituality? William A Tiller in Psychoenergetic Science: A Second Copernican-Scale Revolution (Walnut Creek, CA: Pavior Publishing, 2007) certainly thinks so. Man, he explains, is composed of a personality body self and a “rich infrastructure ...in subtle bodies” that lead to ”greater human performance and expanded capabilities”. The purpose of life is building this infrastructure into a grammar of spirituality. Michael Cremo in Human Devolution: a Vedic Alternative to Darwin's theory (Badger, CA: Torchlight Publishing, 2003) claims that man originated billions of years ago in waves of consciousness, but has “devolved” into an ego-driven modern counterpart , alienated from the group consciousness and spirituality of his ancestors. Group consciousness can bring about the healing of the earth. If weather can be influenced by Schumann’s frequencies, man, who is capable of resonating at these frequencies, can through group consciousness bring about changes that dissolve violence and restore earth to its natural balance. DNA activation is ultimately a matter of gradually building one's own multi-dimensional awareness and abilities through one's own efforts. It is a journey towards wholeness and higher frequency attunement that becomes a reality only when individuals have become autonomous and self-empowered.

Chapter 2 : The Aether Is Pure, Conscious Oneness

THE AETHER

We live in a harmonic universe, built upon a unified, unseen foundation of conscious, loving energy, known as "zero point energy" or "aether." Up until the 20th century, all Western scientific tradition proposed that such an energy force existed, going back to at least the time of the ancient Greek philosophers, and most likely to a far older civilization with advanced scientific knowledge.

The existence of this aether was supposedly proven to be false by the Michaelson-Morley experiment (M-M) at the beginning of the 20th century, and most scientists still believe that it is correct. There are a number of reasons for why the M-M experiment is flawed, and for our technically-inclined readers, many of the researchers that we will be mentioning have detailed explanations of how it was misinterpreted.

We now know that an “aetheric” science is the only remaining model of the Universe that fits together with the evidence that is now available. Current theories working with these aether concepts, including “Sequential Physics,” "Subquantum Kinetics," "Nonequilibrium Thermodynamics," "General System Theory," "Reciprocal System Theory," "Harmonic Universe Theory," "Maxwell / Whittaker scalar-wave physics" "Hyperdimensional Physics" and any number of “Unified Field Theories,” all agree that our physical reality arises from this hidden energy substance, which creates all that we know and see by vibrating.

And thus, like fishes in the sea, the pressure of this energetic “fluid” constantly surrounds us, though we do not normally notice its presence. In this wealth of new data, the aether fluid is a source of tremendous energy that is in constant vibrational motion, flowing through all objects in the Universe, creating and recreating them every second — just as a candle flame is constantly absorbing new wax and oxygen and radiating new heat and light, but still continues to exist as a measurable "unit."

Should this aether ever stop flowing and swirling about with such an intelligent, purposeful behavior, all mass would shed heat, gradually "dissolve" and return to its primordial energy state; the "flame" would go out.

Indeed, this new "physics of the 21st century" tells us that the very building blocks of mass, the atoms and molecules themselves, are not particles at all. Instead, they are ultimately nothing more than spherical whirlpools of energy in this flowing river of aether. And the aether itself provides the most tangible, scientific way to define, explain and even engineer the Mind of God.

ALL IS ONE

Our ultimate contention is that all of the fundamental fields – gravity, electromagnetism, weak nuclear and strong nuclear force – must emanate directly from the aether, a unifying force of sympathetic vibrations that forms all of physical reality as we now see it. Consciousness is fundamentally interwoven with this process.

If the Unified Field is pure energy, and the energy must move to form all of physicality, then ultimately Consciousness is another from of aetheric movement. Once a person is properly trained, they can use their consciousness to create motion in the aether in any of its forms, including the commonly observed force fields. And as the Russian scientists have demonstrated, this is no longer speculation; this is experimental data.
