Every summer, in the south of England, grand and mysterious works of art silently appear in the crop fields.

This magnificent crop circle was formed right in the heart of crop circle country, next to Silbury Hill in the county of Wiltshire, England.

Measuring hundreds of feet in diameter, it employs symbols from the Mayan calendar to predict that the Mayan Fourth Sun era will end in the year 2012. It actually makes the same prediction in two different ways, so that there is no doubt as to the intention of this message.

According to the Mayan calendar, a new era of human consciousness will dawn in late 2012. To paraphrase astronaut Neil Armstrong, the shift of consciousness in the year 2012 is likely to be, "One small step for each human, one giant leap for mankind." Future generations will undoubtedly look back upon the pivotal year of 2012 as a turning point in the development of human consciousness.

A variation on the healing symbol of the caduceus can be seen in the above photograph on the left. Today, this famous Hermetic symbol is associated with medicine or healing. As a Hermetic symbol, it traditionally represented Hermes or Mercury. Mercury was the symbol of communications, while Hermes represented ancient wisdom and secret knowledge.

The white horse at Milk Hill can be seen behind the crop circles in these photographs. It was carved into the chalk under soil 200 years ago and measures more than 200 feet in length. The 'tram lines' in the crops are access lines made by farm equipment.

The question is, who makes these grand works of art? Nobody seems to know for sure. They appear mysteriously, often just before dawn. Eye witnesses have reported globes of light 'dancing' above the fields as they make their patterns by swirling and flattening precise sections of crops.

Crop circles are not a new phenomenon. They have been documented as far back as the year 1678. In recent years, however, they have multiplied enormously. Since the early 1990s, observers have logged over 10,000 crop circles.

Each crop circle is typically huge, often several hundred feet in diameter. One even measured 800 feet (240 m) in diameter. Their design is often artistically brilliant.

And yet, they are not just art. They portray symbols of great mystical significance. Some of them are more obvious, like representations of the ancient Mayan calendar of time, or the human chakra system in the above photograph. The popular system of seven chakras is shown as (left to right) the root, sex, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye and crown chakras. The symbolism of the crown chakra is easy to see, as are the third eye and heart chakras. Also, the root chakra symbol on the far left represents the fact that the root chakra powers the rest of the chakras with activated life energy.

Some crop circles have depicted formations such as galaxies, ancient Sanskrit letters, DNA-like double-helixes, asteroid belts, spiral nebulae and eclipses. Other crop formations are not so obvious to the left-sided, logical part of the brain, and yet hold tremendous right-brain symbolism relating to the shift of human consciousness. These symbols remind the inner consciousness of what it once knew but had forgotten. They are wake-up calls to a humanity in transformation.

Whoever is sending us messages through such transformational imagery is obviously helping us through a critical juncture in human history. Whoever they are, and however they form these beautiful crop circles so delicately and so quietly, I just call them, our "Friends in the Fields."

We live in a Holographic Reality where any one change in the Hologram creates a ripple effect and begins to change and affect the entire hologram.

This effect was also observed in the 1960's by several Japanese primatologists who were studying the Japanese macaques or Snow monkeys.

Here is an article by Owen Waters about the 100th Monkey Effect which clearly shows this quantum evolution taking effect.

The Shift & The Hundredth Monkey Effect by Owen Waters

The Shift is the awakening of humanity’s heart. This transformation of consciousness, the greatest one ever recorded, first became apparent in the mid-1960s and has been building momentum ever since.

The Shift is a collective transformation consisting of the sum of each individual’s step into the New Reality. Each person, in their own time, is moving forward into a stage of consciousness which brings a wider vista and an awareness which springs from the heart. When enough people’s primary attention becomes focused through their heart chakras, then the ‘hundredth monkey effect’ will occur.

The Hundredth Monkey Effect was first introduced by biologist Lyall Watson in his 1980 book, ‘Lifetide.’ He reported that Japanese primatologists, who were studying Macaques monkeys in the wild in the 1950s, had stumbled upon a surprising phenomenon.

His book was soon followed up with a deeply inspired work by Ken Keyes in 1981, called “The Hundredth Monkey Effect.” In this, Ken Keyes made an impassioned appeal for an end to the Cold War and its policy of mutually assured destruction. Here, in the words of Ken Keyes, is a description of the key elements of the Hundredth Monkey Effect:

The Japanese monkey, Macaca fuscata, had been observed in the wild for a period of over 30 years.

In 1952, on the island of Koshima, scientists were providing monkeys with sweet potatoes dropped in the sand. The monkeys liked the taste of the raw sweet potatoes, but they found the dirt unpleasant.

An 18 month old female named Imo found she could solve the problem by washing the potatoes in a nearby stream. She taught this trick to her mother. Her playmates also learned this new way and they taught their mothers too.

This cultural innovation was gradually picked up by various monkeys before the eyes of the scientists.

Between 1952 and 1958 all the young monkeys learned to wash the sandy sweet potatoes to make them more palatable.

Only the adults who imitated their children learned this social improvement. Other adults kept eating the dirty sweet potatoes.

Then something startling took place. In the autumn of 1958, a certain number of Koshima monkeys were washing sweet potatoes -- the exact number is not known.

Let us suppose that when the sun rose one morning there were 99 monkeys on Koshima Island who had learned to wash their sweet potatoes.

Let's further suppose that later that morning, the hundredth monkey learned to wash potatoes.

Then it happened!

By that evening almost everyone in the tribe was washing sweet potatoes before eating them.

The added energy of this hundredth monkey somehow created an ideological breakthrough!

But notice.

A most surprising thing observed by these scientists was that the habit of washing sweet potatoes then jumped over the sea –

Colonies of monkeys on other islands and the mainland troop of monkeys at Takasakiyama began washing their sweet potatoes.

Thus, when a certain critical number achieves an awareness, this new awareness may be communicated from mind to mind.

Although the exact number may vary, this Hundredth Monkey Phenomenon means that when only a limited number of people know of a new way, it may remain the conscious property of these people.

But there is a point at which if only one more person tunes-in to a new awareness, a field is strengthened so that this awareness is picked up by almost everyone!”

Lyall Watson had originally researched and assembled the story from the available testimonies of the primate researchers. Because the phenomenon took the researchers so much by surprise, they had not counted how many monkeys it took to trigger this effect. So, Watson proposed an arbitrary figure of ninety-nine monkeys, and said that one more, the so-called one-hundredth monkey, would then provide the critical mass of consciousness necessary to trigger the effect.

The new behavior pattern spread to most, but not all, of the monkeys. Older monkeys, in particular, remained steadfast in their established behavior patterns and resisted change. When the new behavior pattern suddenly appeared among monkey troupes on other islands, only a few monkeys on those islands picked up on the new idea. The ones most receptive to new ideas started imitating the new behavior and demonstrating it to the impressionable younger ones. Thus, they too began their own path towards their eventual hundredth monkey effect.

How the Hundredth Monkey Effect Works The mechanism for this transference of ideas works the same way for monkeys as it does for all sentient beings. We exist within an atmosphere of global mind. The human brain is constantly receiving and transmitting mental pictures and information to and from that mental atmosphere in which we are immersed. The global mind, otherwise known as Jung’s collective unconscious, does not cease to function because a few skeptics don’t like its effects. It functions just like it always has, passing information from one individual to another based upon their common frequency of consciousness. If progressive monkeys had a new idea, then so did other progressive monkeys on other islands. They resonated at the same frequency of consciousness. Inventions often occur at the same time by inventors who are not in physical contact with each other. For example, in 1941, Les Paul designed and built the first solid-body electric guitar just when Leo Fender of Fender Musical Instruments was doing exactly the same thing. Have you ever had an idea, then seen other people express or use that idea. You probably said, “Hey! I thought of that first!” Well, that’s the way the global mind works. It’s an atmosphere that you share with all other sentient beings, but you tune in especially to the particular topics and frequencies of mind that interest you the most. What This means to The Shift When enough people have gone through their personal version of The Shift to the new consciousness, then a critical mass will form and suddenly everyone will become aware of the New Reality and its heart-centered values. That is the day when heart-centered values will become the focus of everyday thinking for the vast majority of people. That is the day when humanity will begin to look back on what has changed and realize that a massive shift has occurred. Source : Infinite Being Related Articles :

Owen Waters is an international spiritual teacher who has presented his insights into the New Reality to hundreds of thousands of seekers. In 1963, while growing up in a mystical part of Britain, he encountered his first spiritual awakening. The surprise of this mystical experience was such that his life became focused upon a continuous search for spiritual answers.

Almost forty years of study and research followed, along with the development of his inner vision. By the year 2002, like many of the spiritual teachers who are coming forward for The Shift, his realizations began to unfold rapidly. Today, as Editor and co-founder of Infinite Being LLC, he helps people find inspiration, love and creativity through heart-powered consciousness.

The Shift is the spiritual and creative awakening of humanity. This transformative movement has gained momentum in recent years to the point where, today, more than one in four adults have moved forward towards this new stage of cultural awareness.

New Reality consciousness means to experience new vistas of awareness and new levels of creativity. It means following your heart to express your inner joy through making your own meaningful contribution towards the betterment of the world.

Millions of pioneering trail-blazers have already made it through The Shift and into the new awareness. Every day, more people follow their example and discover a deeper, more meaningful quality to life.

In "The Shift: The Revolution in Human Consciousness," Owen Waters has woven together leading-edge cultural studies with his own discoveries about the human energy system in order to demonstrate that we are in the midst of the biggest cultural shift of all times.

This book demonstrates that the future of mankind is not just bright… it is brilliant!

Below is an excerpt from the book ...

Twelve Principles for the New Reality

The New Reality brings with it a new vista of awareness. In order to operate successfully in the new environment, you need to apply the new principles which come with that expanded vision, that greater vista of reality.

Such knowledge empowers you to awaken to your newly expanded potential and to manifest that potential with ease.

When I was sixteen, my physics teacher said, “Basic principles, lad. When you know the basic principles, you can solve any problem.” I have often thought how right he was. Here, we will examine some basic principles of the universe, as seen from the viewpoint, or the expanded vista, of the New Reality consciousness.

In this, the ultimate reality is recognized as universal consciousness, as the formative essence behind all that exists within the universe. I call that essence Infinite Being because it is the awareness behind everything within the universe. Infinite, as in All That Is. Being, as in fundamental awareness. Infinite Being is the deepest concept of God or The Absolute.

Development takes time, whether it's physical, mental or spiritual. Life is like taking a train ride to another place just for the experience, one where you just enjoy the passing scenery and never ask, "Are we there yet?"

At some point, you reach the destination and then move on to seeking out the next adventure. The point of the ride is to learn along the way, knowing all the while that journeys of learning are undertaken for the process more than the destination.

Developing contact with your soul or inner being takes time, along with a delicate touch. Your soul exists at a more subtle level of consciousness than your conscious mind. While your conscious mind exists in the noise and clatter of a physical existence, your soul, by comparison, lives in a world of whispers. It is an enchanted land where magic happens and wonders unfold at the speed of thought.

Communications from your inner self arrive as the merest whispers of intuition. They are subtle feelings that help you lean towards the course of action which will work out the best. The more you encourage communication between your conscious mind and your inner being, the more examples you will experience of your own inner guidance being full of the wisdom and foresight which only a higher state of consciousness can produce.

You can prove to yourself - right now - that a store of great wisdom lies just beyond your daily conscious awareness. All it takes is the willingness to perform a valid, unbiased experiment with no skepticism or self-doubt allowed. If you are willing to do that experiment, then you will jump-start your ability to consciously receive inner wisdom and you will prove to yourself that you really do have an inner resource of impressive wisdom.

The key to this quantum leap in your intuitive ability is to give yourself permission to let your inner being - which functions at a higher frequency of consciousness - to come through into your daily, conscious awareness. You already have a higher level of inner wisdom. If you're not used to it coming through into your daily awareness, it's just because you haven't opened the door yet by giving it permission. Now, you're going to let that inner wisdom come through by using the key act of giving it conscious permission.

Anyone can sit down in a quiet place and, provided they give themselves permission, allow their inner being or 'higher self' to produce writings that contain greater wisdom than any thoughts currently contained in their conscious minds. Try it and see. It involves the simple tool of role playing. 'Act as if,' and you'll be pleasantly surprised at what you find.

First, do whatever works best for you to enter a relaxed, contemplative state of mind, or just close your eyes, relax, and follow your breath in and out for a minute or two.

Now, see yourself as a seeker of answers, a seeker of wisdom, and your question is, "What do I need to do to find the most happiness in the year ahead?"

Then, for the next ten minutes, pretend that you have been given a window into an inner place of deep wisdom, because you will step outside of yourself and become the one who will provide the answers to that question. For the next ten minutes, you will adopt the role of a famous, yet mysterious Master of Enchanted Wisdom!

You are now playing two roles. You will be there as an ardent seeker of wisdom, seated in front of the other you, the Master of Enchanted Wisdom. As the seeker, you expect the Master to reveal the guidance that you most need in order to find happiness in the year ahead. Have faith in the wisdom of the Master and it will be forthcoming.

Now, move fully into the other role. ACT AS IF you are now the Master of Enchanted Wisdom. Think over the question, put on your 'wisdom hat,' and start giving the advice which is expected of you by the seeker. Write it down as you think of it. This is important because in the role play, you are going to a deeper level of awareness and it is too easy to forget your own words once you resume regular awareness. Don't let your words fade away into your background memory like a dream upon awakening. Write them down as fast as you can, never stopping to judge or critique. Just write.

Then, when the exercise is over and you have told the seeker all the advice that comes to mind, you'll come back to being in your normal state of consciousness and be in a position to review what you wrote. More importantly, save your writing and review it three days later from a fresh perspective, when the details of the words have passed away from your immediate memory.

Evaluate your writing as if someone else had written it. Don't make excuses like, "Well, I might have guessed that," or downplay anything. Judge it fairly, without criticism or doubt, for what it is: The advice from someone different from your usual self, because that is exactly what it was. You were different from your usual self.

Three days from now, you'll see those words in a new light and, provided you role-played the part as needed, you will be surprised at the amount of wisdom that came through.

Better yet, put those words away for a year, make yourself a diary entry to review them then, and you'll be able to see, in retrospect, how good the advice was for finding happiness throughout that year.
