An interesting documentary film titled, "Have a Good Trip : Adventures in Psychedelics" is due to be aired on Netflix this May featuring many celebrities recalling their psychedelic explorations ... their hallucinogenic highs and lows ! :D

The film features trippy stories from A-list actors, comedians and musicians including Bill Kreutzmann, Adam Scott, Nick Offerman, Sarah Silverman, Ad-Rock, Rosie Perez, A$AP Rocky, Paul Scheer, Nick Kroll, Rob Cordry and many more.

“Mixing comedy with a thorough investigation of psychedelics, 'HAVE A GOOD TRIP' explores the pros, cons, science, history, future, pop cultural impact and cosmic possibilities of hallucinogens,” read a press release.

“The film tackles the big questions: Can psychedelics have a powerful role in treating depression, addiction, and helping us confront our own mortality? Are we all made of the same stuff? Is love really all we need? Can trees talk?”

The film was written and directed by Donick Cary and produced by Mike Rosenstein, Sunset Rose Pictures, and Sugarshack 2000.

For those of us who still fancy a good read once in a while, there is a new book in the Psychedelic Head Space you must check out ... "Psychedelic Medicine : The Healing Powers of LSD, MDMA, Psilocybin and Ayahuasca" by Dr. Richard Louis Miller.

Embracing the revival of psychedelic research and the discovery of new therapeutic uses, Dr. Richard Louis Miller discusses what is happening today in psychedelic medicine and what will happen in the future with top researchers in this field, including Rick Doblin, Stanislav Grof, James Fadiman, Julie Holland, and Dennis McKenna.

Richard Louis Miller is a Clinical Psychologist, owner of Wilbur Hot Springs Health Sanctuary, and broadcaster who hosts the Mind Body Health & Politics radio program, a radio talk show which airs on NPR affiliate KZYX&Z FM. The program is known for its wide ranging discussions on politics and health, the show’s format includes guest interviews, guest speakers, and listener call in.

In 1990, while motorcycling, Dr Miller was hit by a recreational vehicle. In the resulting accident, the Winnebago ran over him crushing both of his legs. He kept himself alive using breathing stabilization techniques. In the emergency room he talked the attending physician out of amputating his legs which led to to a 15-hour surgery. This was the first of 6 surgeries. While in intensive care, Dr. Miller devised methods of coping with the psychological trauma, using visual imagery to aid the healing process. Given a prognosis of being paraplegic and using a wheelchair, he began rehabilitating himself by doing “wheel chair laps” around the hospital ward. Six months later he began walking on crutches, and he strapped them onto a motorcycle, drove back to the scene of his accident, and retraced the original accident multiple times in an attempt to remove the trauma from his mind, replacing it with “a perfect ride”.

Using special T bar crutches, he went on the complete 2 triathlons including swimming in San Francisco Bay. He used the same special crutches to run the 7 mile Golden Gate Bridge to Bay Bridge run in San Francisco with his former marathoning buddy Wayne Greene. Dr. Miller used this life changing event to deepen his understanding of himself and those suffering Post traumatic stress disorder. The implementation of those lessons soon followed, and he created a simple maxim, “Limits are self-imposed, and one needs to always be cautious of accepting the limitations (prognosis) imposed by others.”

Miller has been, a Marathon runner, Triathlete, Endurance swimmer, Downhill skier, Motorcyclist, pilot, bridge/poker/chess player, pistol marksman, classic car collector.

When not at Wilbur Hot Springs, he lives on a small farm with the love of his life, Jolee, and about 20 animals, in Mendocino County on California’s north coast.

Psychedelics and Meditative practices have the potential to heal us from all forms of psychosomatic illnesses by addressing the root cause of all trauma and painful experiences from the past. Here is a documentary film called "Psychedelic Therapy" which speaks about all of this and much more. Our awareness to the potential of psychedelics is key to co-creating a better reality for all of us.

Let's choose wisely !

Have you ever wondered what lies beyond what we superficially see? Have you ever contemplated the equation between religion, spirituality and plant medicine? Have you ever felt like extending the boundaries of your horizons and expanding your consciousness? Have you been considering trying plant medicine to check how it might benefit you? If your answer to any of the questions above is in the affirmative, then the documentary, The Reality of Truth,’ is tailor-made for you. Written and hosted by Mike "Zappy" Zapolin and Co-directed by Laurent Levy and Mike Zapolin, it is a must-see for those who aspire to grow their consciousness, experiment with plant medicine and surpass the supposed barrier of reality.

One of the most prominent features of the documentary, apart from the main message it shares, is the heartfelt interviews with prominent spiritual and thought leaders and celebrities including Deepak Chopra (alternative medicine advocate, speaker and bestselling author), Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (spiritual leader and founder of the Art of Living Foundation), Marianne Williamson (spiritual teacher and bestselling author), Ram Dass (spiritual teacher), Michelle Rodriguez (award winning actress, DJ and screenwriter), etc. These personalities share their profound experiences, emotions and thoughts, and how they took a chance to experience spirituality with the assistance of plant medicine.

With the assistance of honest endeavors, impactful words and powerful imagery, the documentary makes a case for letting go of the myths surrounding reality and plant medicine and accepting the reality of truth that the world may not always be ready to embrace or even hear. The buildup to the facts shared by the host presents a question as to whether the ancient plants referred to in religious texts could be the source of wisdom to find solutions to today's problems, including mass terrorism. Another question presented by the documentary is whether meditation was part of ancient wisdom/religion. The documentary further sheds light on the detail that despite accomplishing a lot in life, people may sometimes feel a void and this means that they need to expand their horizons and experience more.

Further, to solve society's problems, there is a need to transform our collective consciousness. The solution offered by ‘The Reality of Truth’ is to take inspiration from ‘Psychonauts’, sailors of the mind or people exploring inside their own minds. This is like nothing one has experienced before. There is something beyond what we see and we need to have faith to believe in what seems to be unreal. Furthermore, the documentary will help you realize the advantages of meditation by asserting the number of people who benefit from it all over the globe and even a Bible reference to the practice.

Foster Gamble, the man behind ‘Thrive’, accentuates that altering our consciousness leads to the shifting and expansion of our consciousness. The documentary will teach you that experiential spirituality, finding answers ourselves, can be a rewarding experience. It incites us to go beyond and ask questions we do not usually ask. The documentary and the words of wisdom shared by the notable personalities featured in it encourage us to have faith instead of fear while approaching the unknown. Also, drugs have several negative points linked with them but when they cure someone, it should be counted as medicine.

Perhaps the most important piece of wisdom shared by ‘The Reality of Truth’ is the real-life accounts of those who benefitted from plant medicine or psychedelics by bidding adieu to their addictions, including the alcohol problem of Bill Wilson, the founder of Alcoholic Anonymous and that of Gerard Powell, the founder of Rythmia Life Advancement Center. Both of them benefited from the experiences stemming from plant medicine (psychedelics) intake to the point that they got rid of their serious problems and turned their lives completely around for the better. In other words, plant medicine cured these people and many others around the globe.

Among other things, the documentary teaches us to take inspiration to meditate from Jerry Seinfeld, Oprah Winfrey, etc., capitalize on the experiences of Ram Dass to benefit from plant medicine to seek, feel motivated by the enlightening and loosening experience of Michelle Rodriguez and several others to let go after having San Pedro and conducting an Ayahuasca ceremony and experience spirituality and the feeling of a Supreme Being. Based on the experiences of those who are featured in the documentary, you may get rid of anxiety, depression, anger, hatred, inhibitions, and addictions and be a new you, lead a new life, and push the restart button. The documentary also discusses the breathing technique of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. According to him, by adjusting our breath, we can arrive at a higher state of consciousness.

The insights shared in the documentary by many make it clear that these experiences help one realize the way one wants one’s life to be. Zappy makes a point that plant medicine is illegal because of monetary reasons. Pharmaceutical companies wish to only sell petroleum-based medicine for monetary reasons, which do not actually cure and lead to several side effects. Plant medicine, meditation and breathing adjustment are among the tools that can assist one in going beyond and transforming their lives. The multilayered narratives of a diverse array of people featured in the documentary will definitely touch people and their lives for the better and you have to watch the whole thing to know what it actually says.

In sum, a person may find it easy or hard to believe some of views presented in the documentary since the subject is controversial but should still check it out because it is outside the box and compels people to ponder, experiment and go beyond what is generally acceptable. Life is supposed to be lived to the fullest or it goes to waste and ‘The Reality of Truth’ introduces a way of life to accomplish exactly that. You might transform your life like many in the documentary after being witness to the wonders of life, plant medicine and an expanded consciousness. Projects like this are few and far between and you must make the most of this. Highly recommended!

"True Hallucinations", yet another brilliant documentary on the life of Terence McKenna ... Aficionados of Terence McKenna need no introduction to the story that started it all. A journey through the Amazon basin becomes an experiment to hyper-carbolate human DNA, while the events spark the idea of an eschatological theory based on the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching.

Packed with alchemical ramblings about the concretisation of the hyperdimensional object that is accessible in the ecstasy of mushroom intoxication, this is a story not for the faint hearted!

The bizarre adventures of Terence McKenna, his brother Dennis, and a small band of their friends, is a wild ride of exotic experience and scientific inquiry. In search of mythical shamanic hallucinogens, they encounter a host of unusual characters—including a mushroom, a flying saucer, and the voice of the Other — and discover the missing link in the development of human consciousness and language.

My name is Peter Bergmann, I'm the creator of a 3+ hour long documentary movie about the ideas of Terence McKenna, which I made available to watch in its entirety on YouTube.

It was a result of many years of work, and while my summer and all time went into the production last year, it was clear that the 'Experiment at La Chorrera' would be impossible to incorporate into the already lengthy project. Also, it felt as a separate entity, and a story so outlandish, it couldn't possibly be translated into any kind of visual experience, mostly because of the lack of actual material.

(With the Terence McKenna movie, I had hundreds of hours of audio and many videos to choose bits and pieces from, but there is very little tangible material for True Hallucinations, except of course the 9+ hour long talking book.)

The documentary above is highly recommended to be conquered on a long summer weekend, you can help my efforts by liking/sharing/commenting, thank you!

As a consequence of an unbearable itch to continue expanding the McKenna universe, it became obvious to me in recent months that 'True Hallucinations' can reach its fruition.

I've already finished some sequences which prove to me that it would be foolish not to release it to an audience, even though the full and finished product might suffer in the area of consistent quality.

I feel it's necessary to push the envelope on this one, and so I launched this campaign boldly, to gather funds for hardware costs that I'm encountering, and to finance sequences that require the help of other artists, most importantly animated parts, where there is no other way to tell the story.

Terence McKenna's words are poetry to those who know how to listen, and I'm confident the movie I created called 'The Transcendental Object At The End Of Time' provides the viewer with plenty visits from the alchemical angel.

'True Hallucinations' on the other hand strives for something much stranger, it is a set of experiments and ideas that perhaps seem like 'the ravings of an unhinged mind', as Terence often put it, yet the story carries with it an eerie sense of gnostic truth that cannot be ignored, and I believe must be packaged for new generations of psychonauts who will always be drawn to the work of the McKenna brothers.

Why are so many people all across the world changing their diet and lifestyle to something more in harmony with the natural ways ? Why are so many countries urging their citizens to move to a vegan diet ? Animal husbandry apparently is one of the major causes for global warming also discussed at length in a recent documentary film called, "Cowspiracy". Consuming meat for us humans isn't the best choice and comes at the price of our health.

Our bodies tend to wear out faster when we live on meat based diet. On the contrary, its proven that vegans live a much longer and healthier life. There may be some exceptions though, for example in cold temperate climates where its hard to grow fruit and veggies, humans need to eat some sort of meat to survive and in such circumstances eating fish and other sea food may be the only option. We must however, try and eat more of fresh, organic fruit and veggies as much as possible to maintain optimum health.

Here are some interesting videos discussing why we should be moving towards a vegan diet ....

Finally, each one of us has the power to change things by taking small steps in the right direction. If one truly loves all animals it shouldn't be that difficult to give up eating meat, but for most part, people say they love animals, namely their pets or other exotic creatures which perhaps don't make it to our plates.

We have the power to change ourselves and help others who wish to do the same ... For the rest of the crowd who still wish to continue the killing, we can only wish them well and allow their destinies to unfold as they have to. Everything which has come into form will finally return to its original formless state. Learning and growth for the formless happens while being in the form and we always create our realities and experiences by the choices we make, consciously or unconsciously.

May we awaken compassion in our hearts for all living beings and allow our true divine nature to guide us rather being driven by our limited egos.

The psychedelic culture has grown exponentially over the years, even though the scene is mostly underground and not exactly mainstream as yet. Literally millions if not more, experiment with psychotropic substances every day. What's in your Baggie is a documentary film that looks closely at the psychedelic party scene and the various substances that are sold with highly toxic impurities which can be really dangerous for human consumption, hence are to be approached with a reasonable degree of caution.

Common drugs from previous generations like LSD, mushrooms, cocaine and opiates are still popular, but they’ve been joined by the likes of MDMA and ecstasy, amphetamines, ketamine, and a massive array of others.

In fact, there are so many different psychoactive substances floating through our country that people don’t even realize how complicated things have gotten.

We quickly discovered that the majority of the time, people were surprised to find that their bag of drugs was not what they paid for.

According to the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction, 243 new drugs have been reported since 2009.

For whatever reason, many festival-goers and other young people alike seem to be thoroughly oblivious to the invasion of dangerous new drugs.

Unfortunately, most substance users are unaware of the availability of substance test kits.

Over the recent years, a small but growing group of researchers from Austria, Germany, Italy, UK, Japan, South Africa and the USA, has developed a new scientific field of research: the neurobiology of plants. Their discoveries question the traditional boundaries set between the animal and the vegetable kingdom: plants are capable to develop the cognitive process claimed by humans and animals.

If plants can move, and feel... Could they possibly think ? In a creative and captivating scientific investigation style, through spectacular specialist photography and CGI, and re-creating scientific experiments, this documentary is bound to change your own perception of plants.

Plants belong to another universe, a silent and seemingly simple world; they make food from sunshine, which in turn feeds the animal kingdom. But what if plants were keeping something from us? What if they have minds ? What if they are intelligent? Scientists are asking these very questions, do they perceive their environment? Do they have a memory? Could they have a nervous system?

To these men and women, the great divide between the plant and animal world is not that great at all.

Our disconnect from the natural world has led to the disastrous situation that we now find ourselves in on planet Earth, yet our deep feelings for nature form part of our spiritual longing.

Michael Pollan, author of such books as "The Omnivore's Dilemma" and "The Botany of Desire," wrote the New Yorker piece about the developments in plant science. He says for the longest time, even mentioning the idea that plants could be intelligent was a quick way to being labeled "a whacko." But no more, which might be comforting to people who have long talked to their plants or played music for them.

The new research, he says, is in a field called plant neurobiology — which is something of a misnomer, because even scientists in the field don't argue that plants have neurons or brains.

"They have analagous structures," Pollan explains. "They have ways of taking all the sensory data they gather in their everyday lives ... integrate it and then behave in an appropriate way in response. And they do this without brains, which, in a way, is what's incredible about it, because we automatically assume you need a brain to process information."

And we assume you need ears to hear. But researchers, says Pollan, have played a recording of a caterpillar munching on a leaf to plants — and the plants react. They begin to secrete defensive chemicals — even though the plant isn't really threatened, Pollan says. "It is somehow hearing what is, to it, a terrifying sound of a caterpillar munching on its leaves."

Pollan says plants have all the same senses as humans, and then some. In addition to hearing, taste, for example, they can sense gravity, the presence of water, or even feel that an obstruction is in the way of its roots, before coming into contact with it. Plant roots will shift direction, he says, to avoid obstacles.

So what about pain? Do plants feel? Pollan says they do respond to anesthetics. "You can put a plant out with a human anesthetic. ... And not only that, plants produce their own compounds that are anesthetic to us." But scientists are reluctant to go as far as to say they are responding to pain.

How plants sense and react is still somewhat unknown. They don't have nerve cells like humans, but they do have a system for sending electrical signals and even produce neurotransmitters, like dopamine, serotonin and other chemicals the human brain uses to send signals.

"We don't know why they have them, whether this was just conserved through evolution or if it performs some sort of information processing function. We don't know. There's a lot we don't know," Pollan says.

And chalk up another human-like ability — memory.

Pollan describes an experiment done by animal biologist Monica Gagliano. She presented research that suggests the mimosa pudica plant can learn from experience. And, Pollan says, merely suggesting a plant could learn was so controversial that her paper was rejected by 10 scientific journals before it was finally published.

Mimosa is a plant, which looks something like a fern, that collapses its leaves temporarily when it is disturbed. So Gagliano set up a contraption that would drop the mimosa plant, without hurting it. When the plant dropped, as expected, its leaves collapsed. She kept dropping the plants every five to six seconds.

"After five or six drops, the plants would stop responding, as if they'd learned to tune out the stimulus as irrelevent," Pollan says. "This is a very important part of learning — to learn what you can safely ignore in your environment."

Maybe the plant was just getting worn out from all the dropping? To test that, Gagliano took the plants that had stopped responding to the drops and shook them instead.

"They would continue to collapse," Pollan says. "They had made the distinction that [dropping] was a signal they could safely ignore. And what was more incredible is that [Gagliano] would retest them every week for four weeks and, for a month, they continued to remember their lesson."

That's as far out as Gagliano tested. It's possible they remember even longer. Conversely, Pollan points out, bees that are given a similar dishabituation test forget what they've learned in as little as 48 hours.

Pollan says not everyone accepts that what Gagliano describes is really learning. In fact, there are many critics with many alternative theories for explaining the response the plants are having. Still ...

"Plants can do incredible things. They do seem to remember stresses and events, like that experiment. They do have the ability to respond to 15 to 20 environmental variables," Pollan says. "The issue is, is it right to call it learning? Is that the right word? Is it right to call it intelligence? Is it right, even, to call what they are conscious. Some of these plant neurobiologists believe that plants are conscious — not self-conscious, but conscious in the sense they know where they are in space ... and react appropriately to their position in space."

Pollan says there is no agreed definition of intelligence. "Go to Wikipedia and look up intelligence. They despair of giving you an answer. They basically have a chart where they give you nine different definitions. And about half of them depend on a brain — they refer to abstract reasoning or judgment.

"And the other half merely refer to a problem-solving ability. And that's the kind of intelligence we are talking about here. ... So intelligence may well be a property of life. And our difference from these other creatures may be a matter of difference of degree rather than kind. We may just have more of this problem-solving ability and we may do it in different ways."

Pollan says that really freaks people out — "that the line between plants and animals might be a little softer than we traditionally think of it as."

And he suggests that plants may be able to teach humans a thing or two, such as how to process information without a central command post like a brain.

João Meirinhos created a compelling and sublime documentary that reaffirms the power of the world's greatest traditional medicine, Ayahuasca. Assembling an impressive cast of traditional practitioners, aficionados and western converts, 'Mirror of the Spirit' bubbles like the brew itself to reveal the essence of the ayahuasca experience. And, like the ayahuasca vine, it entwines the viewer with an authentic and compelling message that is hard to resist.

Grounded in strong ethnographic roots, 'Mirror of the Spirit' captures the spirit of this eclectic mix of contributors all of whom have been transformed by the power of the medicine in a myriad different ways. Once again we are reminded that the message of Ayahuasca is more relevant today than at any point in our history.

The Cambridge University neuropsychiatrist Dr Valerie Voon has recently shown that men who describe themselves as addicted to porn (and who lost relationships because of it) develop changes in the same brain area – the reward centre – that changes in drug addicts. The study, not yet published, is featured next week in the Channel 4 TV show Porn on the Brain. Neurosceptics may argue that pictures of the brain lighting up in addicts tell us nothing new – we already know they are addicted. But they do help: knowing the reward centre is changed explains some porn paradoxes.

In the mid-1990s I, and other psychiatrists, began to notice the following. An adult male, in a happy relationship, being seen for some non-romantic issue, might describe getting curious about porn on the burgeoning internet. Most sites bored him, but he soon noticed several that fascinated him to the point he was craving them. The more he used the porn, the more he wanted to.

Yet, though he craved it, he didn't like it (porn paradox 1). The cravings were so intense, he might feel them while thinking about his computer (paradox 2). The patient would also report that, far from getting more turned on by the idea of sex with his partner, he was less attracted to her (paradox 3). Through porn he acquired new sexual tastes.

We often talk about addicts as though they simply have "quantitative problems". They "use too much", and should "cut back". But porn addictions also have a qualitative component: they change sexual taste. Here's how.

Until recently, scientists believed our brains were fixed, their circuits formed and finalised in childhood, or "hardwired". Now we know the brain is "neuroplastic", and not only can it change, but that it works by changing its structure in response to repeated mental experience.

One key driver of plastic change is the reward centre, which normally fires as we accomplish a goal. A brain chemical, dopamine, is released, giving us the thrill that goes with accomplishment. It also consolidates the connections between neurons in the brain that helped us accomplish that goal. As well, dopamine is secreted at moments of sexual excitement and novelty. Porn scenes, filled with novel sexual "partners", fire the reward centre. The images get reinforced, altering the user's sexual tastes.

Many abused substances directly trigger dopamine secretion – without us having to work to accomplish a goal. This can damage the dopamine reward system. In porn, we get "sex" without the work of courtship. Now, scans show that porn can alter the reward centre too.

Once the reward centre is altered, a person will compulsively seek out the activity or place that triggered the dopamine discharge. (Like addicts who get excited passing the alley where they first tried cocaine, the patients got excited thinking about their computers.) They crave despite negative consequences. (This is why those patients could crave porn without liking it.) Worse, over time, a damaged dopamine system makes one more "tolerant" to the activity and needing more stimulation, to get the rush and quiet the craving. "Tolerance" drives a search for ramped-up stimulation, and this can drive the change in sexual tastes towards the extreme.

REWIRED is a documentary project about the effects of Internet pornography on the human brain. The documentary will feature leading scientists and their research as well as young adults who watched porn for many years of their life and at one point began to suffer from symptoms such as erectile dysfunction, inability to orgasm with a real partner and social anxiety.

These young adults (women and men) are convinced that porn was the cause. For REWIRED they will take us on their personal journey – from getting hooked up to their final commitment to never watch porn again.

The act of making love is sacred and should be seen in that light. Its mutually uplifting for both partners, without any one gender dominating the other as what's normally observed in our reality today with utter male dominance. The rise of the divine feminine is happening within each one of us, no matter what the gender. Its making us more compassionate, kind and caring towards each other ... extending the same love towards all beings we share this space with. The objective of sexual union isn't restricted to the act of procreation. It is deeply healing and rejuvenating in many ways to the mind, body and soul. We must choose wisely who we choose to share this energy with ... as we also tend to absorb others energies when we get physically intimate ....

“...And In the End, the Love We Take Is Equal To the Love We Make.”

In the Western world today, more and more non-tribal Westerners are seeking out a teacher of shamanism and in response, increasing numbers of shamanic teachers are now appearing on the screen. But how do we ensure that we will be drawn to an authentically initiated individual who will serve us well?

In the beginning of our connection with this ancient wisdom tradition, some of us decide to seek out teachers in the indigenous world, often through participating in travel groups or tours into remote regions of the world. These tours are usually accompanied or led by an acknowledged or self-proclaimed expert, and these experiences can be intense, exciting, and life-changing. However, we frequently discover that just because someone seems to be an expert, the knowledge may be quite limiting and superficial. In addition, these experiences usually lack an ongoing connection to facilitate our shamanic training and to develop shamanic skills. Thus, we continue to search.

Accordingly, some of us seek out indigenous spiritual elders closer to home, yet we usually discover that there are very few now who know the old traditions and fewer still who may be inclined to share their spiritual wisdom with outsiders. Some of us are lucky, though, and find an elder who has chosen to extend their knowledge to everyone, regardless of culture, race or ethnicity.

Then there are the growing numbers of spiritual seekers who become aware of the shaman's path through reading the published works of individuals who have 'spent time' with indigenous peoples. Some find their way into relationship with these individuals, who offer knowledge as well as experiential training in seminars and workshops at institutes and conference centers.

For Westerners, the hands-on experiential workshop offers opportunities for intense immersion in the shaman's worldview and practice. These structured settings provide tools and techniques designed to bring us into an enhanced connection with our spirit helpers, our spirit teachers and our guides, creating a good working foundation for our own practice. In the shaman's world, it is always understood that the real teachers are found on the other side. Only the spirits can convey true teaching as well as authentic initiation to the shamanic practitioner.

Accordingly, the job of the authentic shamanic teacher is to facilitate this connection...

Once the shamanic aspirant has been brought into relationship with their helping spirits, the role of the outer teacher is essentially done. Yet it is also true that many return to work with a singular teacher in serial training workshops in order to deepen their practice in specific areas such as working with ancestral spirits, soul retrieval and transpersonal healing, or exploring the dimensional realities of the Upper Worlds.

In doing so, Westerners discover that the ancient methodologies of the shaman, developed across tens of millennia by our stone-age ancestors, are the birthright of all human beings everywhere. If we go back far enough, we are all descended from indigenous tribal peoples, Westerners and non-Westerners alike, and they all had great shamans.

This means that it is not required that you be a Zulu or a Siberian, a Mayan or Hawaiian or Native American to practice shamanism. The practice, the method, is essentially the same the world over. It belongs to all.

'Voyage to Betterment' is an interesting documentary film about the current state of affairs on our planet, with diseases such as Cancer, Diabetes, Coronary Heart Diseases etc ... running rampant all over and what we could possibly do to improve the quality of the lives we lead by being more conscious of what we feed our body and how we can nourish our soul. What does it really take to keep good health?

The film introduces the viewer to the Ten Principal Elements for Well Being. As soon as we mention well being everyone immediately thinks of food and exercise. So that is where the film begins. A group of regular people are filmed taking a 30 day food and exercise challenge. Their first week on a holistic cruise yet it turns out the group spent far more time partying then doing yoga or taking in workshops. The film highlights some of the main marketing techniques that we are programmed by.

Then the viewer is left with an appreciation for the difficulty in distinguishing truth from falsehood by the examination of our beliefs including the one thing dear to all, the beliefs about food choice. Secretly, nearly everyone believes their food choices are best and others have it all wrong. Our beliefs about which food is best for us goes from one extreme to the other.

Many believe that meat based diets are best and others that vegan diets are best. Is the truth somewhere in the middle or closer to one end or the other? In the film leading vegetarian doctors highlighted their most critical findings of their lifetime of work. Andrew served as the coach of the participants featured in the film. Although he is not vegetarian himself he put the participants in the film to the test to see if what the vegetarian experts say in the film holds any value.

Before and after blood tests measured the effect of their plant based food challenge, with something of concern to everyone, our risk of developing major illness and our biological age. When the participants in the film discovered the depths of human potential and the reality that everything is forever recorded in consciousness, it left them speechless.

The film goes on to reveal other critical elements for well being and captured things on film for the first time ever. Viewers will see a tumor disappear in minutes, and grass growing taller when surrounded by love.

Melanin is a molecule which derives its name from the Greek word, Melanos, which denotes the color black. Melanin is the fundamental unit of the universe and can exist in four forms including Cosmic Melanin, Planetary Melanin, Plant Kingdom Melanin (chlorophyll) and Animal Kingdom melanin (black pigmentation).

Some of us might get confused between Melanin and Melatonin ... here are the differences ...

• Melanin is a pigment produced by tyrosine, whereas melatonin is a neurotransmitter produced by tryptophan.

• The main functions of melatonin are the modulation of the synthesis of melanin, maintaining the sleep wake cycle and biological rhythms in the body, whereas that of melanin are providing skin color, photo-protection, and involving in hearing.

• Melanin is synthesized in melanosomes, which are found in melanocytes, while melatonin is synthesized in the cells of the gastrointestinal tract, retina, and pineal gland.

• Melanin can be found in skin, eye, ear, hair, and central nervous system, whereas melatonin can be found in brain, liver, intestines, blood and muscles.

The following text is from the youtube channel, 211 Network who's video is featured below in this post ...

Time and conflict have conditioned us to fear what we do not understand. And our misunderstanding has been based on a lack of knowledge; of others, and of ourselves.

Getting to the core of truth about the human condition in an objective manner, one can shed light on facts that have been kept in the dark, and attain a higher understanding of truths Indecency and hatred have no place in a world of pure knowledge and understanding.

For at least a century, people have tried to preach equality for all, crusading based on the premise that we are all the same. Some vouched for fairness by insisting we are "created equal." It seems as if it were only those who wished to keep peoples of the world separate that would cite and declare our differences. And though they, at times, brought forth dishonest claims, they reign successful in keeping peoples apart to this day.

The truth is we are alike in the sense that we all have common ancestry. This is proven. We have a shared ancient heritage, even with our wide array of lineage. But we are different, a truth we must accept and discuss openly with one another. In the classroom, the household, governing bodies across the globe, and possibly the cosmos, et al.

Imagine a world without inhibitions concerning our differences. A world where, instead of denying these differences in fear of offending each other, we examine and celebrate these differences.

The following is an example of employing an objective approach toward one of the biggest indications of our differences -- skin colour; melanin being its primary determinant.

The topic of skin colour affects all of us. And even in today's world where we are coming together more than ever through social media, internet and overall the advent of technology, the colour of our skin remains a "touchy-untouched" subject because of our unwillingness to fully accept, examine and embrace our differences. That, plus the fact that melanin is a natural substance found in all of us, is the reason the example is used.

The following clip, an excerpt from a documentary called "Hidden Colors 2: The Triumph of Melanin", serves as one example of our potential to go beyond what history dictates about a characteristic of a people -- looking objectively and without bias at the physical, undeniable, provable traits posessed, with the characteristics serving as mere indication -- to in turn celebrate what makes humanity strong and determine where our weaknesses lie.

The film is not a reflection of the ideals of the uploader. One must admit that the documentary presents a black versus white dichotomy, a mindset that subtracts from the very idea behind the presentation of this clip to you, the viewer.

So that said, The.211Network asks that you heed the message within the message. That message being that humanity can abandon the "a priori" approach to judging people -- if we are even to judge. The message is that our differences, when explored, can open our eyes to the human condition; its brilliance and resilience, the make-up of our collective . And when the knowledge gained is taught and applied universally, the world and its inhabitants can be at least a little better for it.

Go beyond what the historians teach and what religions preach. Go beyond indoctrinated science and political etiquette. Go beyond the system employed. Go beyond, by regressing to true reason.

It is apparent that there is a vast amount of knowledge about ourselves and our potential that is not as accessible. You each have a short amount time to realize your full potential. And ignorance could be bliss, but you owe it to yourself to know what you are missing.

From the makers of the classic documentary film, "Food Matters" comes yet another eye opener titled, "Hungry for Change". The film exposes shocking secrets the diet, weightloss and food industry don't want us to know about. Deceptive strategies designed to keep you coming back for more. Find out what's keeping you from having the body and health you deserve and how to escape the diet trap forever.

Most of us know the truth deep inside, but sadly our inner voice of intuition has been subdued systematically by the so called 'rulers'. By playing with our senses they keep us entrapped in this prison reality while most of us are totally oblivious of it, living an illusion of freedom and independence. Meat, Dairy, Sugar, Artificial Sweeteners, Preservatives, MSG, Color ... the list of toxic chemicals added to our food is endless and the only way to beat this system is to go Vegan ... Eat Organic, preferably home grown food as much as possible. You'd rather invest in good health than feed the pharmaceutical companies which keep us coming back for more, profiting from our sickness.

The facts are in front of us and we can no more ignore the truth and look away if we want to continue as a species on this planet.

May the light always guide us along our journey ... whatever the destination may be !

'The Shaman's Last Apprentice' is a narrative documentary focusing on the story of Rebekah Shaman, who in 1997 followed a vision she received from a Shaman calling her to the Amazon, where she found and studied intensively with a powerful Ayahuasquero Shaman in a little village nestled in a remote corner of the Amazon rainforest. Now she tells of her unique story working with the Shaman and Ayahuasca to connect with Mother Earth.

What follows is a warning from the Shaman to the West that we urgently need to change our relationship with each other, and with mother Earth.
Only when we understand how vital each one of us is to the future unfolding of this planetary story, can we find the courage to let go of the fear, evolve consciously, and step into our own power so we can be the change.

Our true origins and the story of creation on Planet Earth has many versions to it ... and the more we dig deeper we find ourselves surrounded by too much information to sift through so one can reach the truth, as it is. So how did life begin on Earth ? That's the Big Question here, which perhaps answers a whole lot of other questions while setting stage for the biggest revelation of our lifetime concerning our extraterrestrial heritage and rich history.

The Pleiadians speak about the Bird People and Reptilians being one of the first few advanced civilizations capable of genetic engineering, to visit Earth from another Galaxy. They have been in conflict with each other for sometime now ... for dominion issues over certain Planets and Solar Systems. The Sirians have also played a key role in shaping human history and their is enough to support this claim evident in monuments and artifacts discovered in Egypt and other places all across the planet.

As per Robert Temple's 'The Sirius Mystery', the Dogon describe their Sirian Gods as Amphibious / Humanoid Beings who brought them knowledge and wisdom about other stars and celestial bodies and that are in some way deeply connected with our own growth and evolution here on Earth. They called them 'The Nommos'.

The Nommos are usually described as amphibious, hermaphroditic, fish-like creatures. Folk art depictions of the Nommos show creatures with humanoid upper torsos, legs/feet, and a fish-like lower torso and tail. The Nommos are also referred to as “Masters of the Water”, “the Monitors”, and "the Teachers”.

Scores of scientists and researchers have also discovered a mysterious audio signature recorded on their devices which doesn't match any known mammal. They called this sound, 'The Bloop' and most folks believe this to be the sound of the Merpeople.

The US Navy has been conducting experiments in the oceans using sonic weapons which have resulted in the beaching of hundreds of whales, dolphins and also some Merpeople. The following documentaries aired on Animal Planet showcase all the findings surrounding this hidden aquatic human civilization.

Mermaids : The New Evidence

Mermaids : The Body Found

It does seem like the Merpeople are descendants of an ancient Sirian race which came to Earth as described by the Dogon. The latest video evidence found of Mermaids leaves little doubt that regarding the existence of an elusive aquatic human race of intelligent beings inhabiting Earth's watery depths.

Hopefully the Navy and other agencies in search of Oil and Natural gas stop using Sonar devices for their work as its proven to kill marine life and is responsible for most of the whales being beached as they become disoriented with the trauma caused due to the sonar devices and the frequencies make their internal organs explode causing sudden death.
