The Crabwood Alien face of August 15 was one of the most famous crop pictures in modern history, but no one could really understand its message. As shown in two pictures below, the schematic face of a "grey alien" was drawn within a large "rectangular box" that contained 60 horizontal lines, just as for an early "mechanical" TV image, chosen in the 1930's because we use 60 Hz AC power. The variable width of each line then creates different "grey scales" (modern TV screens use far more lines to give better pictures).

Next, that rectangular box with an alien face was carefully aligned so that it would point at two, nearby TV-radio towers. This was as if to say: "Yes, our new crop picture is really meant to represent the TV image of a grey alien." The general notion is that the Greys have made a secret pact with the US government where they are allowed to conduct experiments on humans in exchange of advanced technology. This is a part of the grand deception confusing the masses and dividing the fastly growing UFO community. There are no evil greys abducting innocent people for their own ulterior motives to populate their dying race in Zeta Reticuli, know this !

Believe there is good out there ... and within ..... ((( Love & Light )))

After graduating from Army School, Secunderabad, stepping into the war zone of confusing career options, I almost thought i was done with academic stress and identity crisis, now moving onto bigger challenges to accomplish certain goals in this race to the finish line. New doors opening into a whole new world of survival.

I was one of those guys who could deal with a lot of studying as long as they have all the possible options to a successful, accomplished life. So, i indulged in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & Biology till i could ! Now, i could be an Engineer or maybe a doctor since i did know a little about Biology and not because i saw myself helping people with bodily or even mental discomfort. I barely managed myself !

My father was an Army Officer and i always looked up to him for he was a man of immense strength and honor ! It was easier for me to visualize myself in the Olive Greens, following his lead and joining the forces . I did exactly that and a year later i was on my way to the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. I would've been the third generation alpha male from my family serving the Defence Services of India and i couldn't have been any happier.

All of this seemed to fit in just right as I'd imagined and now i needed to get through with 12 months of rigorous training in the Cold valley of Dehradun before i could proceed to the next level of training which would bring back academic chaos in my so far accomplished life. I like academics, helps improve your cognitive abilities. What i don't understand is the strict time lines drawn for EVERYONE to wallop big fat books written to bombard our mind with TOO MUCH INFORMATION, maybe too soon ! God knows how many of us are needed to build bridges and buildings or save people from the guns and bombs we make to uphold peace ! A little variety would go a long way.

" We need to think more creatively, don't ya think ? "

Among the distinguished 45 of the pioneers of the PCM technical course selected from across India, i boarded the train to New Delhi with a strong sense of pride of being in league with the OG Family. On reaching IMA we were greeted by a JUO ( Junior Under Officer ) who had been instructed to take charge of our arrival and help us with the joining formalities of the Academy. I had already begun to feel like an officer when it was suddenly taken away by well sequenced mind numbing sessions to help us all to get to the nothing state or the zero ego state. For the first 4 weeks we were acclimatizing ourselves to the coldness of the Academy with little or no view of the world outside. Soon, the outside world would seem like a desperate getaway from the pressures of being a Gentleman Cadet at IMA. For some even ridiculously unorganized and laid back. Yes, we are talking about the Adrenalin Junkies who have come to enjoy the physical anguish passed on as legacy by their seniors. FAT is resentful and you can be anything but FAT once you've walked through those gates.

It was time for all to start taking the pounding of a heavily beaten yet strong, sustained system of principles, ethics and moral values laced with some unimaginable hours of repetitive physical acrobatics. The experience takes away all that you were holding sacred in that cozy head of yours. Some give in and take all that comes with an open heart while some reason there way back home to Mama or whatever that keeps their minds and bodies from being hammered day in and day out. I was broken and pushed to the limit and soon i realized that there is no limit, it just gets better with time. So i stuck my head in with the herd and did whatever was to be done.

The running miles grew longer and the pain seemed to get smaller as the days rolled by. Early morning starts to late night snoozes it all seemed like one never ending exercise. There were no dreams no nightmares, just a few hours of complete shutdown of the mind and body system. I don't know what it felt like but i would've done more of it if i could. As the junior most of all the courses at the Academy, we were obliged to finish our morning chores by 4 am so the next course in seniority could make use of the time and lavatories, until it was time for the third termers to rise to the occassion. The twilight zone start to the day was nice in a way 'coz we got to lay our hands on some freshly baked cookies from the Battalion Bakery while sipping on some piping hot tea followed by a Wills Navy Cut cigarette to kick start the day's proceedings.

The usual day began with either Drill or PT after waking up to the Platoon JUO playing and screaming along his regular morning anthem from a recent Hindi movie. Certain privileges are well earned i suppose. I had never known how much heat our body can generate until i saw fumes rising from all our worn out bodies gleaming in the sunshine. So much for exercise and all the hungry feeding. Oxygen is the original high and after a point, you break all barriers inside your head. You can always go a little further than you think you can. You are so high on Oxygen all the time, that a little intoxication is almost justified. You might find an occasional drinker, but most just smoked cigarettes. It sure helped us calm down apart from all the excessive loving we administered ourselves with.

Once the 5 minute breakfasts were over, we had to cycle away to our classes in well formed squads of 4 or more. Too bad if your senior thinks he needs your bike more than you do, since his is under repair, faulty or even lost / lifted. You are allowed to march if only you are in a squad, else YOU RUN ! Tactics, Weapon Training, Service Writing, Night Navigation, Military History and a host of other subjects were on the periodic schedule. This was the time when you could catch some real quick naps while following the topic of discussion to the best of your sub-conscious awareness. Sometimes, these classes had the potential to turn into another rude awakening thanks to the majority who had not yet mastered the art of sleeping with the eyes wide open. Trust me, it's all possible !

It was the Wednesdays, Saturdays and the Sundays which used to bring a lot of color along with many pretty women into the Academy. The Cafeterias and almost all places in the Academy were brimming with life on half days and holidays. The phone booths were all queued with anxious cadets waiting to dial their loved ones. Some made most use of the free time relaxing back in their cabins sending out their jangoos (Slang for Juniors) to get them food like Butter Nans, Chicken Masala, Rajma, Samosas, Cola / Beverages to feast on. The jangoo didn't mind doing so coz' his dinner was also sorted by his big hearted over study.
All in all, a fair deal !

Life wasn't restricted to the confines of our Academy. There were many instances when we had to go out to nearby rural areas for camping exercises. Though we weren't amidst the buzz of the city life, the peaceful tranquility of the wild, beat all the living I'd ever known. The bright starry nights when we had to march for over 12 hours couldn't have been anymore enchanting and fun to say the least. Foot rot, Fatigue and the occasional homesickness were all forgotten in the company of our course mates. Walking through villages, wading through surprise flash floods, exchanging a randomly found Reynold's Jetter Pen for half a pack of Wills at a local pan shop is a whole lotta fun filled adventure one can only imagine now. The occasional break outs of aggression within the team added on to the fun quotient. A few punches, followed by a nasty headlock is how fights would normally end. It was all forgotten the next day as good sense returned to most involved. Some just carry on with a grudge in their hearts hoping to settle scores when the next one happens. Normally, one backs down for the best interest of the group. Call him the sensible one, but it certainly wasn't me. I was always ready to fight given a reason good enough. All anger and frustration vented out in a fair fight with both parties game, may sound like anarchy to you, to me it was like taking a hot water shower on a cold frosty morning !

The year 2000 brought about a whole lotta change in my life. Personal grievances and low motivation took the best out of me. It all started slipping away slowly and i was 4 days short of my passing out parade when i was relegated. I trudged along for a month after all my course mates had passed out except for another friend / course mate who temporarily lost his eye sight thanks to an injury he sustained while playing Hockey for his Company and was sent home packing, no questions asked ! Doesn't seem fair ? Maybe ! However, he is now an Actuary in London and doing well for himself, while i have all the time in world to cut a long story short... while i keep filling in the spaces as and when memory and intention coincide...

I was withdrawn on disciplinary ground after 13 months in IMA for my prolonged defiance to attend training which lasted almost a month. I was counseled however, i had no will to carry on disillusioned with the politics of the organization, so they had no option left but to throw me out. It's been a different story ever since and though i never got to wear the OG's i will always live by the Code.

"Status Quo : In The Army Now"

Someday we will need no armies to protect us from ourselves and the world will truly know Peace !

Questions and complexities beyond rational humane comprehension, certain, staring right in your face ironies and some social obligations to live up to. The all playing mind in seek of something that shall last going around in circles. Infinite number of possible things to do, yet unable to figure out WHY ?

Why life ? Why creation ? Why every little thing you can think of ? What is Lifelessness ? Is there a consciousness beyond physical life ? A memory of all that is connected with the I called me on a different plane of existence, an independently operating system with no form no outline no real purpose ? Timeless existence ?

Or maybe i stop asking and let things happen since i have little or no control over my destiny ? Maybe it's all about choices and dreaming !!! What would you do ? Would you rather sugar talk a population or piss people off ? Your intention could've been anything but it's nothing compared to the potential of human interpretation on a big measuring scale ! 1 cause : Infinite possible effects all existing in each pulsating singular consciousness ! That makes our system look like a colony of microscopic mycelia living and dying endlessly for billions of years.

It's got to be better than this ! Guess we got lucky with the onset of life almost accidentally following a cataclysmic cosmic explosion or is it the master minded design of the ultimate architect which we are all trying to figure out, in vain. I don't have an answer just some popular beliefs I'm inclined to agree with, thrust on me by the history of our world laced with secrets and half told truths. I hope you think otherwise coz' affirmation of the truth sets your spirits in blissful paradise you would never return from ! I just hope the affirmation lasts !

We are all unconsciously marching on towards the end ... the end of all ends ...
It has to end, so something new, something better, something stronger can rise ! I can't say how long it's gonna last, but it's upto you to make it one helluva ride !

Take different roads to reach a common place called nothingness !

Coz' in the end, nothing really matters !

Transformers is more than science fiction like most of the movies we've seen in the Sci-Fi genre which in actuality are more science fact, unknown, unbelievable to most. While the machines and the futuristic robots bring in all the super slick mechanical action between opposing forces of Good & Evil, symbolized by the Autobots who are here to protect Humanity unlike the Decepticons who are in search of 'The Allspark' and would destroy Earth & Humanity to get it. The conflict between the Autobots & the Decepticons affect humanity much like our own psychic wars going on in higher realms which consciousness inhabits. The demons within are let out and the perpetual dualistic conflict is transcended with the Autobots sustaining over the Decepticons and they indeed are destroyed until they make their return in the summer of 2009 with Transformers 2 !

Here is the Plot Summary as seen on IMDB ... A long time ago, far away on the planet of Cybertron, a war was being waged between the noble Autobots (led by the wise Optimus Prime) and the devious Decepticons (commanded by the dreaded Megatron) for control over the Allspark, a mystical talisman that would grant unlimited power to whoever possessed it. The Autobots managed to smuggle the Allspark off the planet, but Megatron blasted off in search of it. He eventually tracked it to the planet of Earth (circa 1850), but his reckless desire for power sent him right into the Arctic Ocean, and the sheer cold forced him into a paralyzed state. His body was later found by Captain Archibald Witwicky, and before going into a comatose state Megatron used the last of his energy to engrave a map, showing the location of the Allspark, into the Captain's glasses, and send a transmission to Cybertron. He is then carted away by the Captain's ship. A century later, Sam Witwicky, nicknamed Spike by his friends, buys his first car. To his shock, he discovers it to be Bumblebee, an Autobot in disguise who is to protect Spike, as he bears the Captain's glasses and the map carved on them. But Bumblebee is not the only Transformer to have arrived on Earth - in the desert of Qatar, the Decepticons Blackout and Scorponok attack a U.S. military base, causing the Pentagon to send their special Sector Seven agents to capture all "specimens of this alien race," and Spike and his girlfriend Mikaela find themselves in the middle of a grand battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons, stretching from Hoover Dam all the way to Los Angeles. Meanwhile, within the depths of Hoover Dam, the cryogenically stored form of Megatron awakens ...

"I was born free and then the world put me in chains !" Somewhere in this beautiful material world that we've created setting a price for almost everything around, the system HAS failed and it's now when we can either ship up or shape out fighting each other like wild animals.

Here ensues a saga of rebellion in this fight for freedom.

Authority: A force to uphold peace and happiness through laying down laws among the working class to ensure uniformity in functioning of all processes. A laid down program which all follow like it's the only right way to go. Sooner or later, you realize you are becoming the very program that runs you ! People believe what the media has to show and most media is run by a nexus of the rich and powerful which alters facts and tweaks information to trigger a strong emotion normally of hate, sorrow, regret, unhappiness and a strong sense of fear towards anything that the world believes is unlawful and unwarranted.

The law of nature: A constant battle between the forces of good and evil (Creations of a very powerful entity, the human mind) almost unconsciously overseen by the ONE {Most know him as God, for me it's the ONE force better known as Energy in the scientific and the psychedelic world ;) } .

The myth is that this world is in constant grief, the truth is that your world is what you make of it (Wish we could alter our perception and come together as one massive). Fact: It's a beautiful world and if you're still oblivious to the forces of nature, it's just a mattera time until you figure out ! We don't need religion to divide us, we need a common line of ethical and moral conduct to walk on, not missing out on the fact that we are all barely mortal humans maybe with a characteristic super power for a greater good... HA ! We have successfully isolated each other based on certain notions we breed as to how different we are from each other... Reality Shock: We are not the only intelligent form of life that exists. The universe ain't a very friendly place either which means that our struggle to survive takes a whole new meaning. There are races like ours with similar intellectual abilities and possibly a more advanced reality. We should rather be putting our minds together to reach other alien life in our reachable universe, than trying to outdo the other in proving a point that won't last any longer than this moment, NOW !
Find your Bliss and make this world a better place !

Wish for the massive as you are ONE among them ! Get out there and have some FUN !

One of the most beautiful movies ever made depicting the past, present and future in a mystical tale of man's search for immortality. The movie has 3 stories each of them in a different time line spanning a thousand years, however connected beautifully in essence. The sacred tree of eternal life from the Mayan culture, our physical mortality and our quest to beat death make the foundation to this magical journey called 'The Fountain' !

Aronofsky says the film is about the fabled fountain of youth. "The desire to live forever is deep in our culture," he says. "Every day people are looking for ways to extend life or feel younger. Just look at the popularity of shows like Extreme Makeover or Nip/Tuck. People are praying to be young and often denying that death is a part of life. Hospitals spend huge sums of money trying to keep people alive. But we've become so preoccupied with sustaining the physical that we often forget to nurture the spirit, which is eternal, which is the true essence of who we really are. So that's one of the central themes I wanted to deal with in the film ! The Mayans believed, "Death is the road to awe" ...

Hugh Jackman who plays Tomas / Thomas in all 3 stories, as the futuristic astronaut is traveling in a space bubble to a nebula which the Mayans knew as Xibalba, their underworld, a place of birth and death. There is certainly a lot symbolism used in the movie to incorporate biblical references and mayan beliefs to depict the metaphysical reality of our infinite nature which we seem to have forgotten somehow and find it too far out to be real ! Rachel Weiss plays the lead lady in all 3 stories and is the reason why Hugh Jackman is on the journey to the Tree of Eternal Life & Xibalba. She shines bright ! :)

* Brad Pitt was initially casted to play the character of Tomas.
* Kate Blanchette was considered to play the role as the lead lady.
* The movie was initially called 'The Last Man'.

The Fountain is a story of love, death, spirituality and the fragility of our existence in this world !

The word Psychedelic was coined by Humphrey Osmond (Jul 1, 1917 - Feb 6, 2004) back in 1957, from the Greek words for "soul," ψυχή (psyche) and "manifest," δήλος (delos). In easier terms, Psychedelic means mind manifesting. The term was coined as a noun used as alternative terminology to describe hallucinogen drugs in context with Psychedelic Psychotherapy. Psychedelic states are an array of experiences elicited by sensory deprivation as well as by Psychedelic substances. Such experiences include hallucinations, changes of perception, synesthesia, altered states of awareness, mystical states, and occasionally states resembling psychosis.

" To fathom hell or soar angelic, just take a pinch of Psychedelic "

The illusionary multiplicity and the I had a close encounter to say the least. The getaway seemed like a brand new captivity cleverly concealed under the facade of hype. The lost lived up to their name while the forever in search continued to dangle on the thin line of morally correct consciousness and intoxication ridden obscurity.

A population built on metaprogramming and a supposed sense of worthiness oscillating to the tunes of bubblewrapped tried tested quickly lapped up drunken' groovy club music ! Hang On... Now since we are done with the in demand music, we can switch to some full on psychedelic trance in light of the recent upsurge in the number of psychedelically delusional folks in town !!! Looks like there are more than we imagined... While the 120-130 bpm grooves were doing the rounds, the hungry were feeding on all they could muster in hope of unleashing some serious mental power through the twilight zone. I was just waiting !

All the I's slowly began to dissolve into a huge wave of excitement as the 145 bpm tunes took over unearthing profound reactions and some really clever moves under the multicolored rapidly alternating strobe lights. Home is where the energy takes over naive earthly indoctrined perception and it was nice seeing so many at home ! Save for the occasional outcry for attention by the I's, the EGO's were mostly dissolved in celebration of the full on tunes we are all so familiar of.

Let the music play while you send the I out to FLY !

I saw a UFO claims Mick Jagger

Michael C Luckman - author of Alien Rock: The Rock 'n' Roll Extraterrestrial Connection - says The Rolling Stones rocker developed an interest in extraterrestrial phenomena after a close encounter of the third kind in the 60s.

Luckman said: "Mick Jagger has been very involved with the subject of UFOs for many years.

"In 1968 he went camping in Glastonbury with his then girlfriend, singer Marianne Faithful, and encountered a rare, luminous cigar-shaped mothership.

"Around the same time Mick had a UFO detector installed at his British estate. The alarm kept on going off whenever he left home, indicating the presence of strong electromagnetic activity in the immediate area."

The 63-year-old singer also sighted a UFO over the crowd during The Rolling Stones' infamous 1969 Altamont Concert in California.

Mick is not the only member of the band to believe in aliens. Guitarist Keith Richards has also admitted to "seeing a few".

Among the many celebrities such as Mohammed Ali, Art Bell (Late Night Talk Show Host), Ronald Reagon, Idi Amin former president of Uganda, David Bowie, Will Smith, Robbie Williams, the Beatles legend John Lennon is another musician Luckman claims has experienced personal contact with beings from another planet.

He said: "John Lennon was apparently given a small egg shaped metallic-looking object which he in turn gave to Uri Geller, the psychic.

"He didn't know what the purpose of it was, but he claimed he had been given it by an extraterrestrial. Interestingly, all this happened less than a year before he was assassinated."

An excerpt from an article on Lennon's UFO sighting ... The main structure of the craft could also be clearly seen for the duration of the event, due to the last remnants of the still setting sun. May ran back into the apartment and grabbed a 35mm camera, and once back on the roof both she and John took numerous pictures of the craft. May remembers John’s arms outstretched as he yelled at the UFO to come back and take him away! "He was very serious and I believe he really wanted that thing to take him with it back to wherever it came from, but then that was John Lennon, always looking for the next big adventure".

"WHAT THE #$*! DO WE KNOW?!" is a radical departure from convention. It demands a freedom of view and greatness of thought ! Filmed in Portland, Oregon, What the Bleep Do We Know blends a fictional story line, documentary-style discussion, and computer animation to present a viewpoint of the physical universe and human life within it, with connections to neuroscience and quantum physics. Some ideas discussed in the film are:
  • The universe is best seen as constructed from thought (or ideas) rather than from substance.
  • "Empty space" is not empty.
  • Beliefs about who one is and what is real form oneself and one's realities.
  • Peptides manufactured in the brain can cause a bodily reaction to an emotion.

In the narrative segments of the movie, Marlee Matlin portrays Amanda, a deaf photographer who acts as the viewer's avatar as she experiences her life from startlingly new and different perspectives.

In the documentary segments of the film, interviewees discuss the roots and meaning of Amanda's experiences. The comments focus primarily on a single theme: We create our own reality. The director, William Arntz, has described What the Bleep as a movie for the "metaphysical left".

Amanda, a divorced photographer, finds herself in a fantastic Alice-in-Wonderland experience when her daily, uninspired life literally begins to unravel, revealing the cellular, molecular and even quantum worlds which lie beneath. Guided by a Greek Chorus of leading scientists and mystics, she finds that if reality itself is not questionable, her notion of it certainly is. Stunning special effects plunge you into a world where quantum uncertainty is demonstrated - where Amanda's neurological processes, and perceptual shifts are engaged and lived - where everything is alive, and reality is changed by every thought. This film gives voice to the modern day radical souls of science, making them the true heroes of our day as they conquer and map the greatest uncharted territory yet - man's consciousness itself.

Down the Rabbit Hole takes the ideas introduced in the first What the Bleep movie, and plunges the viewer Deep into scientific findings that say Reality is fluid and that we are an integral part of everything -- It's the Next Evolution! (Lord of the Wind Films)

Music, i consider the next best thing to life. With all the subjective classification of music, it seems to have covered all humanity across the world. Music can have a lasting impact on ones mind and this happens almost unconsciously following a review you heard from a slightly more forward friend of yours.

What began with listening to the likes of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin is now a full throttle psychedelic head trip into the inner realms of the sub-conscious self or maybe it's just the psychedelics talking, either way it is a lot of FUN. Ironically, all music that unites us also happens to alienate us when we tend to camp with a typical sub-genre suggesting total conformance to the particular style. This separation kinda kills the potential of an experience. The moment you think of something you don't want, you create a wall around and we all know what walls do.

There is an obvious difference between the club vibe and the outdoor jungle vibe. Clubs just don't cut. However, with commercialization, somewhere they have merged and music has evolved. What began as Goa Trance or Psychedelic Trance has evolved into Dark, Full On / Morning, Ambient, Chill Out ... which covers the whole spectrum of psychedelic trance ranging through different phases that make a Trance Dance Festival spread across 2-7 days or more. Some day we will wake up each day of our waking lives to magical melodies in the wilderness we so long to return to. Our ancestors are calling out to us to return to our roots and realize the oneness in all creation. Our collective consciousness shall resurrect the broken tranquility that will bring about the dawn of the golden age where peace is all that will ever be !

One big festival called Planet Earth !

There is no clear distinction with sub-genre styles blending into one another almost hypnotically, hence what i call FULL ON (which is an all out energy zone) is considered a style close to euro-trance by some. Psychedelic Trance has always had some influence of the dark side adequately expressed in music of the recent time. This mind shattering haunting style of psychedelic trance makes a treat for all adventurous crusaders raring to experience whatever comes their way open heartedly in a sub-conscious state in a trans dimensional realm. Through our fears shall rise our most coveted gifts and the dark seems to throw you right in the middle of all the chaos. This journey from mayhem to euphoria is best stomping through the dark of the night and the brilliance of the day.

Club Music sure does alienate us from our spiritual trance dance roots. But music itself is spiritual in nature and where the intensity differs it principally affects the human mind.

It is the suggestive nature of other more easily accessed music that makes electronic music so special. As little or no words are associated with it (we need some direction don't we...), the ground of perception heightens and an impersonal thought grows into a surreal story of the tripping ego and the unknown.

I love music and i dance fearlessly to all psychedelic sounds ! Thanks for all the music and magic we love !

Zeitgeist (pronounced zIt-gIst) is originally a German expression that means "the spirit of the age", literally translated as time (Zeit), spirit (Geist)". In some countries it has a different meaning; e.g. in the Netherlands Zeitgeist literally refers to the mind of the time (tijdsgeest), and mind is understood as the mental spirit (state of mind). The word zeitgeist describes the intellectual and cultural climate of an era. In German, the word has more layers of meaning than the English translation, including the fact that Zeitgeist can only be observed for past events.

Zeitgeist, the Movie is a 2007 documentary film, produced by Peter Joseph about the Jesus myth hypothesis, the attacks of 9/11, and the Federal Reserve Bank as well as a number of conspiracy theories related to those three main topics. It was released free online via Google Video in June of 2007. A remastered version was presented as a global premiere on November 10, 2007 at the 4th Annual Artivist Film Festival & Artivist Awards. The film has attracted significant public interest.

In Zeitgeist we witness unveiling of the truth and it's larger implications on humanity ...

Waking Life is a digitally enhanced live action rotoscoped film, directed by Richard Linklater and made in 2001. The entire film was shot using digital video and then a team of artists using computers drew stylized lines and colors over each frame. This technique is similar in some respects to the rotoscope style of 1970s filmmaker Ralph Bakshi, which was invented in the 1920s. The title is a reference to George Santayana's maxim that "Sanity is a madness put to good use; waking life is a dream controlled."

Waking Life by tvxorissinora

In a broad scope, Waking Life is about a young man in a persistent lucid dream-like state. The film follows its protagonist as he initially observes and later participates in philosophical discussions that weave together issues like appearance and reality, free will, our relationships with others, and the meaning of life. Along the way the film touches on other topics including existentialism, situationist politics, posthumanity, and the film theory of André Bazin. The young man eventually comes to realize the possibility that the reason he is unable to wake up is because he is dead. The film ends on an ambiguous note, and in the commentary track, director Richard Linklater states that he never intended for people to think the protagonist was dead. Unsurprisingly, given the above themes and content, Waking Life is much more focused on dialogue (often even monologue) than on plot action. In this emphasis, it echoes the 1981 film My Dinner with Andre and the 1990 film Mindwalk. Long scenes in Waking Life consist of nothing but head shots of characters expounding on philosophical questions. The characters and their speech are very reminiscent of Linklater's earlier cult classic, Slacker. (Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy even appear as their characters from Linklater's Before Sunrise and Before Sunset)

Being a self-indulgent self-proclaimed visionary with a little understanding of the outside world, i see the beauty in the world we're living in and try to appreciate all existence in it's stark, evident duality। Stuff like 'Free will' and 'pre-ordained destiny', 'evolution' and 'intelligent design', 'desire' and 'liberation', are two of the many identified facets of the illusionary 3-D irony we're living. The fact is that possibilities of such occurrences can be refuted till eternity and new theories could be born. All discussion ceasing at the word, "Belief", there begins another argument...

The clever mind delivers the ego all that it wants, however all this spiritual babble doesn't seem to move most of us chasing white collar jobs and the MONEY that runs this machine called Planet Earth. Creating an industry out of anything existential is our true virtue, hence rendering the much needed job for the average Indian who knows, MONEY = You're SET ! Once you've got the taste, it's never really enough, so you do whatever you can, to get more or avoid the lavish outing in fear of running out of the pittance you're labeled with against your contribution to the MACHINE (Almost Perfect) .

This game, like this life of ours will go on till whenever it has to, and then like all that originates in a physical environment, shall end. All existence on a spiritual level goes forth in light of the divine consciousness and merges with the Infinite, the never ending unknown. Now while this game is on, we are unknowingly attracting a lot of pleasure and pain onto the carnal and spiritual self. We attract all that we think of , The Law of the Universe ; The Law of attraction ! Live in abundance and follow your bliss, there is enough for all !

The Secret

The unknown is best left mystified, but the known lack of awareness we are so unaware of, is just plain detrimental to progress and growth. I wish us all the vision of a greater design, the existence of a higher self to propagate the message of Peace, Love, Unity and Respect while we grind with the machine !

It's all good... it don't matter what you looking at, it's what you see !

Jimi Hendrix's Space Brother Saga !

The author, Beckley, says, "I can't say in all honesty that I really knew Jimi Hendrix, but I did see him give a number of really good performances. It was at one of those post- Woodstock concerts where I managed to wind my way backstage. Jimi Hendrix was leaning up against a wall of amps and speakers. As I walked past him, we both just kind of nodded as if we recognized each other, and to this day I can swear I heard him ask me, 'and what planet are you from pal? Jimi expressed a great interest in matters of an extraterrestrial nature, had admitted seeing UFOs, and once told a reporter from The New York Times that he was really from Mars. And he wasn't kidding either.

David Henderson, in his book The Life of Jimi Hendrix (Bantam), quotes Jimi's feelings about life on other planets: "There are other people in the solar system, you know, and they have the same feelings too, not necessarily bad feelings, but see, it upsets their way of living for instance - and they are a whole lot heavier than we are. And it's no war games, because they all keep the same place. But like the solar system is going through a change soon and it's going to affect the Earth in about 30 years. On several occasions during his career, UFOs just happened to show up while Jimi was giving a concert. During the last days of his life, he performed on the rim of an extinct volcano in Maui. Jimi played three 45-minute sets, says Henderson in his best-seller.

After each set, he retired to a special sacred Hopi Indian tent. Later, witnesses in Maui testified that they heard musical tones emanating from rocks and stones. UFOs were also sighted over the volcano by people who called in to a local radio show. A cameraman on the set said that he fell from his perch after seeing a UFO through his lens. In the film Rainbow Bridge, Hendrix rattles on for several minutes about astral projection and the philosophy of the Space Brothers. He also tried to master the art of psychic healing, through color and sound. Fellow musician and songwriter, Curtis Knight, knew all about the episode involving the UFO in Maui. It was an odd-looking craft that glittered in the bright sunlight. Jimi felt certain the UFO had come down to put its spiritual stamp of approval on the show. He told me that he'd been emotionally and physically recharged by the experience.

During the course of our conversation, Curtis also revealed the fascinating details of the time a UFO landed in front of them and actually saved their lives. The event took place on a cold winter's night near Woodstock, NY in 1965. According to Curtis, if it hadn't been for the occupants of this metallic stranger, Jimi and his fellow musicians might have frozen to death. It was four o'clock in the morning, and we were trying to make it back to Manhattan - a drive of more than 100 miles - through the worst blizzard I can recall. The wind was whipping the snow around our van so fiercely that we missed the turn-off leading to the state highway that would put us in the direction of home. The next thing I remember is getting stuck in a drift that reached the hood of our vehicle. Soon it got so cold. The windows were rolled up tight, and we had the heater on full blast to protect us from the rawness of the elements. I had my doubts about seeing the light of day. We could have turned to human icicles very easily. That's how bitter it was! Curtis says the road in front of them suddenly lit up, as a bright phosphorescent object cone-shaped, like a space capsule landed in the snow about 100 feet up ahead.

It stood on tripod landing gear, and for all purposes gave the appearance of being something right out of science fiction' At first we thought it was an apparition caused by the cold and our confused state of mind. I mean, we just couldn't believe our eyes. Prodding Jimi with his elbow, Curtis asked if his imagination was playing tricks on him or whether the rock star saw it too. Jimi didn't answer, but sort of smiled. He seemed to be staring out into the night, his eyes riveted on this thing resting within a stone's throw. Curtis was overcome with fright. Before he could make a move of any kind, a door opened on the side of the craft and an entity came forth. He stood eight foot tall, his skin was yellowish, and instead of eyes, the creature had slits. His forehead came to a point, and his head ran straight into his chest, leaving the impression that he had no neck.

The being proceeded to float to the ground and glided toward the trapped occupants of the van' It was then that Curtis noticed the snow was melting in the wake of the creature. His body generated tremendous heat, so much so that as it came across a small rise, the snow disappeared around in all directions. In a matter of what seemed like seconds, the being came over to the right- hand side of the van where Jimi was seated and looked right through the window. Jimi seemed to be communicating telepathically with it. Curtis relates that immediately the interior of their vehicle began to heat up. Suddenly, I was roasting! One moment it had been bitter cold, and the next moment we might as well have been in Haiti. The heat coming from the being evaporated the snow enough to free their imprisoned van' As it glided behind our van, I saw the drift had completely vanished. Turning on the ignition key, I gunned the motor and got out of there. As I looked back through the rear view window, I could see the road filling in with snow again' The object - the strange craft - was at the same instant lifting off like a rocket from a launching pad. Jimi never did talk much about what happened.

He sort of let me know that the cool thing to do was not to bring up the subject. It was to be our little secret. However, from what he did say, I sort of suspect that the object arrived to save our necks chiefly because Jimi had been practicing trying to communicate by ESP with the beings on board. I know this may be hard to believe, but I'm putting it straight, just like it happened, you hear! The boys from the group who were with us remember nothing. They were out cold in the back. As we got into the main road, they revived. It's as if they had been placed under a spell - you know - hypnotized. A capsule review of Jimi's songs shows that he incorporated some of his interplanetary ties in with his music. The lyrics of many of his songs contain veiled references to UFOs. His album, Axis-Bold as Love, opens with an announcer talking about flying saucers, with a cut following being a catchy tune called, 'Up From the Stars'.

UFOs have the ability to split into two, merge as one, materialize and dematerialize in an instant with a bright emission of light but no sound. This has been reported in many eye witness accounts all across the world and also captured on film many a time. India too has been witness to a spate of UFO sightings often not reported or covered by the mainstream media. In 2007 there were multiple UFO sightings in Delhi NCR / Haryana Region and in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Foreward to 'LSD My Problem Child' by Dr. Albert Hofmann !

There are experiences that most of us are hesitant to speak about, because they do not conform to everyday reality and defy rational explanation. These are not particular external occurrences, but rather events of our inner lives, which are generally dismissed as figments of the imagination and barred from our memory. Suddenly, the familiar view of our surroundings is transformed in a strange, delightful, or alarming way: it appears to us in a new light, takes on a special meaning. Such an experience can be as light and fleeting as a breath of air, or it can imprint itself deeply upon our minds.

One enchantment of that kind, which I experienced in childhood, has remained remarkably vivid in my memory ever since. It happened on a May morning—I have forgotten the year—but I can still point to the exact spot where it occurred, on a forest path on Martinsberg above Baden, Switzerland. As I strolled through the freshly greened woods filled with bird song and lit up by the morning sun, all at once everything appeared in an uncommonly clear light. Was this something I had simply failed to notice before? Was I suddenly discovering the spring forest as it actually looked? It shone with the most beautiful radiance, speaking to the heart, as though it wanted to encompass me in its majesty. I was filled with an indescribable sensation of joy, oneness, and blissful security.

I have no idea how long I stood there spellbound. But I recall the anxious concern I felt as the radiance slowly dissolved and I hiked on: how could a vision that was so real and convincing, so directly and deeply felt—how could it end so soon? And how could I tell anyone about it, as my overflowing joy compelled me to do, since I knew there were no words to describe what I had seen? It seemed strange that I, as a child, had seen something so marvelous, something that adults obviously did not perceive - for I had never heard them mention it.

While still a child, I experienced several more of these deeply euphoric moments on my rambles through forest and meadow. It was these experiences that shaped the main outlines of my world view and convinced me of the existence of a miraculous, powerful, unfathomable reality that was hidden from everyday sight.

I was often troubled in those days, wondering if I would ever, as an adult, be able to communicate these experiences; whether I would have the chance to depict my visions in poetry or paintings. But knowing that I was not cut out to be a poet or artist, I assumed I would have to keep these experiences to myself, important as they were to me.

Unexpectedly—though scarcely by chance—much later, in middle age, a link was established between my profession and these visionary experiences from childhood.

Because I wanted to gain insight into the structure and essence of matter, I became a research chemist. Intrigued by the plant world since early childhood, I chose to specialize in research on the constituents of medicinal plants. In the course of this career I was led to the psychoactive, hallucination-causing substances, which under certain conditions can evoke visionary states similar to the spontaneous experiences just described. The most important of these hallucinogenic substances has come to be known as LSD. Hallucinogens, as active compounds of considerable scientific interest, have gained entry into medicinal research, biology, and psychiatry, and later—especially LSD also obtained wide diffusion in the drug culture.

In studying the literature connected with my work, I became aware of the great universal significance of visionary experience. It plays a dominant role, not only in mysticism and the history of religion, but also in the creative process in art, literature, and science. More recent investigations have shown that many persons also have visionary experiences in daily life, though most of us fail to recognize their meaning and value. Mystical experiences, like those that marked my childhood, are apparently far from rare.

There is today a widespread striving for mystical experience, for visionary breakthroughs to a deeper, more comprehensive reality than that perceived by our rational, everyday consciousness. Efforts to transcend our materialistic world view are being made in various ways, not only by the adherents to Eastern religious movements, but also by professional psychiatrists, who are adopting such profound spiritual experiences as a basic therapeutic principle.

I share the belief of many of my contemporaries that the spiritual crisis pervading all spheres of Western industrial society can be remedied only by a change in our world view. We shall have to shift from the materialistic, dualistic belief that people and their environment are separate, toward a new consciousness of an all-encompassing reality, which embraces the experiencing ego, a reality in which people feel their oneness with animate nature and all of creation.

Everything that can contribute to such a fundamental alteration in our perception of reality must therefore command earnest attention. Foremost among such approaches are the various methods of meditation, either in a religious or a secular context, which aim to deepen the consciousness of reality by way of a total mystical experience. Another important, but still controversial, path to the same goal is the use of the consciousness-altering properties of hallucinogenic psychopharmaceuticals. LSD finds such an application in medicine, by helping patients in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy to perceive their problems in their true significance.

Deliberate provocation of mystical experience, particularly by LSD and related hallucinogens, in contrast to spontaneous visionary experiences, entails dangers that must not be underestimated. Practitioners must take into account the peculiar effects of these substances, namely their ability to influence our consciousness, the innermost essence of our being. The history of LSD to date amply demonstrates the catastrophic consequences that can ensue when its profound effect is misjudged and the substance is mistaken for a pleasure drug. Special internal and external advance preparations are required; with them, an LSD experiment can become a meaningful experience. Wrong and inappropriate use has caused LSD to become my problem child.

It is my desire in this book to give a comprehensive picture of LSD, its origin, its effects, and its dangers, in order to guard against increasing abuse of this extraordinary drug. I hope thereby to emphasize possible uses of LSD that are compatible with its characteristic action. I believe that if people would learn to use LSD's vision-inducing capability more wisely, under suitable conditions, in medical practice and in conjunction with meditation, then in the future this problem child could become a wonder child.
