If you are feeling pain in your life for whatever reason, you should know that this pain we experience is the result of the collective unconscious, acting through all our individual choices. We are all going through various kinds of conflicts in our lives and it is this pain which makes me write .... as I too have been going through some serious changes in life, the lesson has always been love .... accepting it and letting go of it ... when it takes a twisted meaning, only to self gratify and satisfy our selfish needs and desires, while hurting others who have been loving and kind towards us, selflessly ... in so many ways.

Life teaches us many things .... all of us go through similar challenges, however not everyone looks within and makes an inner transformation to understand what the universe is trying to tell us through our painful experiences. We celebrate together in joy and happiness, but in difficult and challenging times, we find ourselves alone and isolated ... torn between our own chaotic thoughts and we suffer. This too happens for a good reason, it is showing us all the stuff that is affecting us negatively and what we can do to make a positive shift, letting go off all that doesn't serve us on our path. Sometimes, we have to let go off our loved ones and trust they are always taken care of by our divine mother (the universe). Letting go is not easy, but it is necessary if one truly wants to be free .... it doesn't mean you stop loving or caring for someone, but just that "love" takes a new meaning, which is all encompassing ... expansive ... and unconditional. We can be intimately involved with many partners during our lifetime and we might confuse this for 'love', which ends when things change and we quickly jump onto the next option available, only to realize this too shall pass, in some time. This kind of 'love' is what makes us suffer countless times, unless we redefine our terms based on our own experiences and not because EVERYONE believes so. A Mass Consensus Reality makes slaves out of us, tethered to false ideas which leave us perpetually drained and empty.

All changes we might be experiencing in our lives are pushing us forward to become something better ... to listen to our inner voice and not the noise from others around us. No one knows us better than our own selves ... We can lie, cheat, deceive many along our path, but the only one affected by our actions is us. Life comes full circle ... and the lessons will repeat themselves .... until they have served their purpose.

Here is an interesting read from Openhand ...

I strongly sense that the world has now edged into a new phase of its evolution. During the Divinicus Tour, people in the Openhand Community had the sense that Gaia was 'waiting'. Waiting for what? The Shift into the fifth density is not a time-line, but an event-line. The pathway must be opened progressively. Humanity is beginning to emerge from eons of darkness. We may not yet be fully ready, but the Earth cannot wait any longer. Realignment with the divine flow must now start to happen on a global scale. Due to its injustice, inequity and misalignment, the old reality will be steadily broken down, over time, so as to provide breathing space for more souls to break through, break out and ascend...

Onwards and Upwards we Go

At the conclusion of the Divinicus Tour, I was given to ascend Table Mountain in Cape Town. It was a 'Prayer for Humanity'. The jet lag of 9 weeks traveling, the tiredness of 13 workshops, and rapid dehydration, made it a very challenging ascent; it felt like I was staggering two steps forwards and one step backwards. The beads of sweat from my tired brow, were as tears into the heart of the Mountain - the heart of Gaia.

I could feel her, and she could feel me. As I encountered various people on the path, in all shapes, sizes, nationalities and states of physical ability, it spoke to me as a metaphor: of the challenges each face on the ascent up the spiritual mountain. It felt like a statement was being made:

"We may not yet be ready to ascend, we may have our challenges, but we are ready to begin"

Even though intensely challenging, my soul was observing, with every step: an opportunity to breakthrough and transcend the physicality - the pain. I felt no egoic need to either ascend or to give up and descend. But when I opened the contraction of any mind-led intention, my soul simply emerged and said... "Onwards and Upwards we Go".

Ascension is entirely natural, like love, when we remove all barriers in the way.

Onwards and Upwards we Go

Since returning from the Tour, I've felt several key things beginning to happen in the underlying field - the fourth density - which is beginning to materialise in the physical. Although I would add, it always takes the material time to respond to the energetic (because of its density). The sense of extreme weather on the increase was a definite indicator: the tour concluded as "Bombogenesis" (extreme weather 'bomb') began. It feels like the global economy is also reaching a new state of over-extention and exposure.

I also had a strong connection with Pele - the Goddess of Volcanoes. Let's remember that Gaia is herself a deity, and all life on the planet is maintained by devic consciousness - deities that coordinate and animate the various species of plant and animal life. That includes the elements earth, water, fire and air. A collapse mechanism of this old reality is now beginning, and it will involve all of these devas.

I sense that Volcanic Activity is on the increase, steadily bubbling and shifting the ground beneath our very feet. The science is inconclusive: more volcanic activity is being reported; some say it's simply because of mans increased ability to report. To me though, as with so many of these shifts now taking place, we have to get out of the head and into the heart to truly know what's going on. As we've seen so many times before, the science can - and is - purposefully manipulated to support whatever resistant case an ego wishes to put forwards.

If we really want to know what's going on in this great shift, we've got to go into stillness, to empty, to clear out all mind-led intention, desire and resistance to the flow.

Only then will we begin to hear the subtle interplays of consciousness.

Prepare for sudden, dramatic change

Right now, it feels to me as if the world - society - is hanging on a precipice. There's any number of reasons why it should begin to steadily breakdown: from extreme weather and natural upheaval; breakdown in the biosphere, including radioactive contamination; dwindling resources and energy; food and water scarcity; financial instability; civil unrest; disease, war and poverty. These are all potential 'trip switches' that could easily initiate a chain reaction.

Can you also feel the truth in this? I'm not raising these vitally important issues to spread fear; fear does not exist in a fully self-realised being. Fear is caused by identification with the small "I", the physical/emotional sense of small self. Mankind has for too long been imprisoned and enslaved by such limitation. If fear does arise, it provides an invaluable opportunity: to bring the unconscious blind spots out into the light so that we can work on them...

If we are each "the One", as many in spiritual circles believe, and the One cannot die, then in the grand scheme of things, what is there to be afraid of?

That said, we are 'the One' flowing as a stream of consciousness - the soul - just like being the ocean and a wave on the ocean at the same time. And each soul is here to honour authentic beingness: to fully unleash and express who we are.

Islands in the Storm

The matrix limits full expression of the soul. Many may as yet have to break through the fears of dramatic upheaval and change. Many may still prefer the soft shoulder of society. But is not the continuation of the dehumanisation and degradation of the current status quo worse than dramatic upheaval?

It is understandable that we might have resistance to change, especially if it's going to push buttons by challenging the very nature of our physical existence, including those of friends, family and loved ones. But that's exactly what we Warriors of Truth have been put here for: to make sense of what's going on; to help others through times of great change, which this evolutionary Ascension of Gaia is all about.
There are ways in which we can prepare. In my book Divinicus, I've talked about this upheaval, but also the strong sense that there will be "Islands in the Storm": places where the soul will draw you; preparations you can make - in order that you will have time and space, for friends and family, to support one-another as you transcend into the Divine Being - mankind's next evolutionary chapter.

Prepare for sudden, dramatic change

It is with these things in mind that I felt to share the dramatised documentary below. It's about the supervolcano under Yellowstone Park. It has erupted three times before, and some believe we are due for a fourth any time soon. That may or may not be the case. I do believe volcanic action and earthquakes are now on the increase and will likely affect many in due course. But that's not specifically why I feel to share it and encourage you to watch.

It's because what's depicted in the movie is highly plausible. It's the kind of chaotic event that could happen for any number of reasons in today's extremely exposed world: from earthquakes, volcanic activity, super storms, tsunamis and general civil unrest, due to the challenged global supply infrastructure.

So as you watch it, consider what it activates in your consciousness. If there's fear, why? If it causes you to get tight inside, how can the Divine Being in you soften and open up instead? And also, what physical preparations might you make - right now - in case of disruption to the global supply chain (at the very least, I suggest a store of bottled water and food). It's about buying you some time and breathing space, as you begin to walk the Path between Worlds.

from my heart to yours

Greetings Dear One .... If you have been following this blog for a while, you have probably witnessed how it has been evolving .... with time. What initially started of as a way to vent out feelings and emotions has turned out to be one of my life's missions which I am happy to have discovered .... at the right time, as always.

Relationships teach us emotions ... our emotions have a lot to say about ourselves. Once you are awakened to your own soul, there is no looking back and going back to someone you think you were. Perhaps, this change is what most of us find hard to wrap our intellect around, also because we haven't yet been able to open our hearts to loving all .... our mind, this sense of separation (the ego) keeps us in a perpetual state of suffering, as it desires ... its disappointed ... it seeks ... it fails .... it also wins at times .... giving it a false sense of accomplishment and momentary gratification. Finally all seeking, no matter what it helps accomplish has emotions attached with it ... which keeps bringing us important lessons, so we can evolve.

The Dark Night of the Soul may seem like recurring for some of us in our lives because he haven't yet learnt what was meant to be learnt .... sometimes the lesson is simply to let go of our illusions of the ego mind and just be. It is however not so easy without the guidance of someone who has walked the same path. For that reason we have our spirit guides, if only we listen to them enough through our own intuition. But we must go through a certain dark passage in our lives once we truly surrender to the universe to show us the way .... only then we truly appreciate the light. Until then we can keep reincarnating many lifetimes without having achieved much, which is essential to our progress as souls.

Sex, is a powerful medium to connect, heal ... exchange energy .... while experiencing the divine in this union of the opposites, the masculine and feminine energies. The world thrives on Sex, however its true purpose remains widely unrecognized as most seek instant gratification through constant orgasms and remain lost in the imaginary world of fantasies. It may be a very confusing period for some of us who are in difficult relationships, because of a changed lifestyle or worldview which may not be in sync with our partner .... this may lead to a lot of chaos and suffering in our lives, as the human drama plays out .... Sex and Love are two terms which have been twisted and manipulated by 'consensus reality' in so many ways that it has taken many perverse forms and keeps human consciousness in lower densities ... not allowing us to move towards higher frequencies. Love is who we are .... Sex is a way of expressing this love towards someone we are mutually drawn to from the deepest core of our being .... not solely because of other external factors such as looks, social status .... etc. Until we have recognized ourselves as a 'soul' ... our 'ego' will meet the 'ego' in others .... and we continue to feed our illusions and fantasies, as long as it lasts .... When two souls unite ... the divine magic beyond our limited self is experienced.

I came across this beautiful article on 'Soul Sex' which I deeply resonate with .... Hope it makes sense to you too .....

Are You Ready for Soul Sex?

Everywhere we turn we are bombarded with sex: media, magazines, movies, billboards. It’s everywhere and constant. Marketing and advertising uses sex to sell everything from hamburgers, to underwear, to cars.

As you know Sex itself is an incredibly powerful energy that when not understood can be the source of much confusion and suffering.

Regular sex is simply about a release, or relieving yourself of stress. It’s the type that leaves you deeply unfulfilled.

Soul sex is the understanding that it is really the exchange of energy, your energies and your partner’s. It’s alchemy that when engaged together in love can open and heal you, your mind, your body, your heart and Soul. Real sex is an energetic exchange and sharing not just a means to release or satisfy the body. Your body might be satisfied but, if sex just remains on a purely physical level, it will be a fleeting high. Real fulfilment cannot be found through the body alone. Pain and pleasure come and go.

The pleasure from sex that arises simply through the body is incredibly transitory. Soul sex happens when you recognize who you are and who the other is. First and foremost, you are Souls, not just a physical body. Then your lovemaking becomes the opportunity for your Souls through the vehicle of your body to dance, exchange, communicate, play and express loving as a gift to each other. When you engage your beloved sexually with the fullness of love and you no longer see your partner as a separate self or simply as another body of flesh, a profound shift occurs within you and your lovemaking will deepen. Then the real exchange happens on the Soul level. At the Soul level there is a sacred communion, the illusions of separation between you and the other drop away and you dissolve as ONE.

As you realize that you are not the body, your partner is not the body, but you are Souls, you can allow each other’s body to serve as a temple becoming the portal into a deeper dimension of the Infinite. What you then exchange with your partner through your bodies is Love energy itself. Then it becomes in the truest sense Lovemaking. You are both sharing the love that you are in that moment.

So Soul sex is the surrender of yourself, not just to your partner but also to the Divine that is living alive within him/her Itself.

Then, something magical happens. Sex moves from needing something, trying to get something, or a game of power and control. It is a letting go of control. It becomes about deep surrender to that which is living and breathing us all.

True lovemaking happens the more you realize and embody that what you are is LOVE itself.

When you make love, you let go. Then there is no you or other. There is only Now. There is only Freedom.

Perhaps this is why we are so obsessed with sex a culture. Yet what we are really seeking is not simply a momentary release – but something far deeper. We are searching for that which is formless and beyond pain or pleasure.

You are ultimately seeking your true Self.

Sex then becomes no more a path to enlightenment, but the very manifestation of Enlightenment itself.

Your lovemaking becomes the expression of the true Light of who you are, manifesting itself as an offering through your body.

So:

Give up all techniques, strategies and resistances to loving. Let go. Release. Relax. Trust. Dive in. Embrace.

Simply surrender.

When you surrender, there is no more you or another.

There is no more lover, loved or loving.

There is only Love.

Love. Now.

The psychedelic culture has grown exponentially over the years, even though the scene is mostly underground and not exactly mainstream as yet. Literally millions if not more, experiment with psychotropic substances every day. What's in your Baggie is a documentary film that looks closely at the psychedelic party scene and the various substances that are sold with highly toxic impurities which can be really dangerous for human consumption, hence are to be approached with a reasonable degree of caution.

Common drugs from previous generations like LSD, mushrooms, cocaine and opiates are still popular, but they’ve been joined by the likes of MDMA and ecstasy, amphetamines, ketamine, and a massive array of others.

In fact, there are so many different psychoactive substances floating through our country that people don’t even realize how complicated things have gotten.

We quickly discovered that the majority of the time, people were surprised to find that their bag of drugs was not what they paid for.

According to the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction, 243 new drugs have been reported since 2009.

For whatever reason, many festival-goers and other young people alike seem to be thoroughly oblivious to the invasion of dangerous new drugs.

Unfortunately, most substance users are unaware of the availability of substance test kits.

AFTER some 18,000 kilometres of travelling, consisting of five flights, a bumpy two-hour drive, a boat ride and an exhausting trek, I finally arrived at my location hidden deep in the Peruvian Amazon. The journey I would go on shortly after my arrival, however, would take me far beyond anywhere else I had ever been.

The plant medicine Ayahuasca has been used in South American shamanic cultures for thousands of years, yet only now are Westerners, like myself, learning of its incredible powers which fuel one’s curiosity to take the strenuous journey to drink it.

Ayahuasca is a psychedelic brew comprised of two natural ingredients which are boiled together for three to four days: first, the chacruna leaves which contain large quantities of dimethyltryptamine (DMT), a naturally occurring chemical produced in the brain. Consumed alone, the DMT would be broken up by a gut enzyme, which is why the second ingredient, the banisteriopsis caapi vine, is vital as it switches this off.

When combined and then consumed, these two induce an intense visionary state which takes you on an internal journey of around four to five hours, delving into the subconscious mind, stripping away the ego and the layers of conditioning picked up throughout your life, subsequently providing new perspectives, thought patterns and information.

I had not taken any drugs before, and nor can Ayahuasca rightfully be labelled as such. Though a Schedule I/Class A drug in the United States and Europe respectively, it is in no way addictive. In fact, it is notorious for curing long-term drug addictions and dependence on harmful anti-depressants. Taking Ayahuasca is not for a thrill-seeker looking to score a good time, it is a demanding ordeal and there is a fair amount of preparation involved in terms of research, diet and lifestyle.

My intentions were purely for self-development and the exploration of consciousness. As a curious deep thinker, my aim was to learn more about this incredible computer we have in our heads that we know so little about and use so little of. I wanted to travel inside the subconscious where, whether we like it or not, emotional clutter is not only stored but plays an active role in our decision-making, as well as to gain clarity on some long-standing dilemmas swirling around my mind.

Under Ayahuasca, the entire brain region where we store emotional memory is hyperactivated and therefore we can access deeply hidden memories and subsequently rewire the brain to create new, more positive thought patterns.

Held in a ceremonial setting in pitch darkness in a round hut called a Malocha, you are provided no shortage of warnings that your first experience will be dark and unpleasant; after all, Ayahuasca’s purpose is to get to the root of deep lying issues, phobias, harmful personal traits, and present them to you in such a stark way that you will be led to reexamine them.

Despite a grueling three-day journey with very little sleep topped off by being woken up from a brief nap to join the ceremony, my first time, strangely, was quite the opposite.

I walked into the Malocha and took my place on one of the vacant mattresses dotted around the room. Soon enough, I was called by the Shaman to take my cup of the brew. I had read all about its horrific taste and texture, and it was no overstatement. Imagine if you will, a tar-like thickness, black liquorice flavour and the bitterness of ten espressos rolled into one tall narrow cup.

It typically takes 30 minutes to an hour for the visionary effects to kick in. Sitting in a meditative pose awaiting to be flipped into another dimension, my heart began to race. After about an hour, I noticed my perception begin to alter.

After some initial unpleasant images which left me feeling slightly queasy, I was fortunate to feel the positive effects of Ayahuasca from my very first experience.

Upon coming into contact with an intense female energy, I was swiftly led on a tour of a serene jungle where nature was brimming with life. I soon felt myself begin to vibrate with my surroundings and eventually became immersed with all the plants, trees, rivers and animals around me, experiencing that much fabled ‘oneness with everything’.

It is important to stress that this is not like a dream state where you are simply watching images sail past, you are fully conscious and the vision state is felt fully, in fact, more intensely than everyday reality.

With this, a spontaneous outpour of tears began gushing from my eyes in what felt like a rebirth, a reconnection with the feeling of pure love and elation which, prior to my trip, I had lost touch with as a result of becoming constantly worried about the future, fuelled by my rather harsh levels of self-expectation.

The brew is made from plants found in the jungle
The brew is made from plants found in the jungle

In shamanic culture, Ayahuasca is commonly referred to as ‘abuelita’, or little grandmother, and is described as an all-loving female energy, the spirit of Mother Nature manifested into this plant to assist humanity, with whom many come into contact during their experience with the medicine.

Rather than a sequence from one to the next, visions in each ceremony are unique, as I would soon find out. In stark contrast to the first, my second ceremony saw me submerged into a gloomy underworld – I had the feeling that I was sinking into my mattress and ended in a room where serpents slithered past my body and sewer water flowed beneath me, bringing about a strong need to purge. These nightmarish visions would go on even after the ceremony had ended and I had returned to my cabin.

However, any rough experience you may have, Ayahuasca’s purpose is to bring you onto a noble life path and the shedding of jealousy, lust and other malignant traits picked up throughout life. ‘Bad trips’ tend to be a visual representation of negative tendencies and vomiting is a fundamental part of shedding certain emotional baggage.

In our society, we are quick to brand or slander something we have little to no knowledge of, and Ayahuasca, a mind-altering brew which takes people into different states of reality, certainly has not escaped this treatment.

Governments, media and pharmaceutical companies, whose industries rely on a passive and obedient general public, are quick to brand such substances as drugs, a sentiment which has precipitated into the minds of most. Research into psychedelics gathered momentum in the 1950s but once their benefits came to light, they were quickly thwarted by the aforementioned trio.

A mere mention of psychedelics is often met with startle or suspicion, yet our society is not without its mind-altering drugs, they simply are not presented as such. Sugar, cigarettes and alcohol are the cause of millions of deaths every year but are perfectly legal, in fact incessantly hammered into the public psyche. After all, they serve the current system to a tee while Ayahuasca, on the other hand, will shatter the illusion that this power structure maintains.

We are at a point in time where much of humanity has lost its way; our ego-dominant culture has made us numb to the treatment of animals, our environment and our fellow human. We squabble for temporary power and possessions and have consequently lost touch with soul and spirit.

But like an organism producing antibodies at a time of illness, psychedelics like Ayahuasca have resurged in the West in similar fashion at a time where our society needs healing the most. If we are to claim to be an advanced society then the way in which these plants are represented must change and more intelligent debate must take place.

Opening ourselves up to Ayahuasca and its worldly benefits could be the key to liberating ourselves from this mental cage we have unknowingly trapped ourselves in.
