Long before I adventured down the rabbit hole of awareness through meditation, magic and psychedelics I was someone altogether different. I spent a great deal of my college time doing what everyone else in college was doing: partying, drinking and generally living a life of endless hedonism. Those were fun days and I don’t feel bad about them, but I will say that no matter how much I tried to fill the cup that was my being with pleasure and experience, everything always seemed to fall short.

One night despondent and tired of the excess lifestyle that accompanied the college campus, I wound up staying home rather than go out for yet another night on the town. Going through my backlog of books I stumbled upon something that would profoundly change my life. It was an edition of “The CELTIC ANIMAL ORACLE”. These were medicine cards, each one symbolizing the power and spirit of a specific totem animal.

Now maybe it’s because my bloodline stretched back to the Celts, maybe it was because I had always had a passing interest in tarot/medicine cards, but the words in the Oracle’s guide book really spoke to me. As a cynic I had all but abandoned any form of religion or spirituality, and yet this book and the animals on the cards really spoke to me and I soon found myself memorizing their meanings, names and stories. It wasn’t long before I started doing card readings for myself and others as well. It was a fun pastime and study and with the benefit of hindsight, one of my first steps into becoming a more meditative and spiritual person.

Fast forward fifteen years, I had now found myself a tarot deck that spoke to me (The Osho Zen Tarot) and had taken to studying it intimately. I knew these cards, or at least I thought I did. It would take me one trip down the rabbit hole in Montreal to help me realize that as much as I thought I had learned to read my cards, I had a long way to go before I could call myself a remotely competent tarot card reader.

Up until that point all my readings had been by rote. I would repeat memorized card definitions, like a parrot and while people enjoyed the readings I gave them I couldn’t help but feel that I was just skimming the surface of something far greater and larger. That if I could just meditate enough or practice enough that my tarot cards would somehow speak even more to me.

It was during a wonderful acid trip with my then girlfriend, now wife, that we decided that enough was enough, if we wanted to be good card readers we would need to really engage not just with the superficial image drawn into these magical cards, but past them to the energy and spirit that they all tapped into. On a practical/therapeutic level Tarot is a lot like an ink-blot test, everyone sees and identifies with the imagery on the cards differently. Just on cold reading alone I could gauge what a person was going through based on how they reacted to the cards.

Over time I’ve come to believe that the cards also act as windows into another small world composed solely of the energy/ideas the card is trying to represent. If you look hard and long enough you can actually see this world come to life in front of you. But try explaining that concept to a non-believer without them getting uncomfortable and wishing to change the subject.

Up until I had tried psychedelics and card reading together at once, I had never been able to see that connection. It was something I believed but had yet to experience. And that one night with my wife changed everything. For some reason we decided that we would spread out all the cards from all six of our tarot decks (come people collect stamps, we collect tarot decks) and spread them out across the floor of our apartment. The air was thick with different energies and personalities as we stared in wonder at the vast tapestry of cards that we had created before us.

All of them seemed to work together and as we dropped more and more cards next to each other in an ever-expanding spiral we could see how a card could represent the energy the accompanying guide-book said it possessed. We could see the ideas and emotions that they wanted to convey.

And we came to realize that while they may not be alive, that each and every Tarot deck, like a cat, has its own personality. Psychedelics allowed me to see and engage with these personalities far better.

I remember staring into a card for what felt like hours, but was later revealed to be minutes and losing myself in the world drawn on it. I could see the leaves in the trees moving to and fro, I could almost see the people on the card moving. It was incredible and while a cynic might have dismissed that as me just being under the influence of a psychedelic drug, I know that what I realized and experienced was quite real.

My deck of cards, the one that I read on my YouTube channel, the one I’ve been reading for the past eighteen years, is imbued with an energy that has only given it more and more personality. It always drops the right card for the right occasion. It speaks to everyone and anyone I do a reading for and on that topic, my readings have become clearer over time. Psychedelics have seriously helped with that process.

It was as if I hadn’t even been speaking to the deck during all those years until that very day. And even now as I write down these words I can’t believe we’d never thought to try that. Psychedelics and magic/spirituality do have a part to play with each other. I do not think it a coincidence that the majority of first nation and indigenous cultures appear to have their own psychedelic ritual, often associated with healing and growth.

It is obvious that these trips down the rabbit hole are not just simple states of intoxication. Rather they are doorways to different states of awareness, perhaps even putting us in the receptive condition we need to be in order to communicate with this higher form or thought and consciousness. All drugs alter our awareness and bring us to a different place. Some of these places are great others not so great. And through the many years of my spirit/magic studies I have experienced the good, the bad and many spectrums in-between.

It is difficult to clearly explain with words these concepts to someone who chooses to neither believe or recognize the sacred reality we tap into while in this altered state. It would be just as hard to explain color to the blind or an I-phone to an ant. The state, the higher consciousness that the psychonaut/spiritualist community is taping into is something beyond words, beyond even dare I say Human understanding. We are wired in these biological computers to experience the universe in one way, using finite minds, lives, words and notions to explain the infinite and beyond.

But we are ever changing, ever improving, ever growing and with each generation we come closer and closer to realizing our sacred place in the universe and the role we can play in it. Will psychedelic use be the answer to the question? I don’t know, but I do know that they will be part of the answer.

What I can say is that they serve as a guide point, they point us in a direction, and it remains up to us whether we will take those directions or not. Some of us will get lost but in the end I believe we can all find our way. Some of us sooner, some of us later. In any case we will all make it to that sacred elevated place, in this life or the next.

Until we meet again.
In love, light and laughter.
Be well

Synchronicity
: is the experience of two or more events that are apparently causally unrelated occurring together in a meaningful manner [to the observer]. To count as synchronicity, the events should be unlikely to occur together by chance.

If you believe synchronicity is simply coincidence, then you haven’t read any of the top experts in the field. The famous psychotherapist Carl Gustav Jung coined the term synchronicity in the 1920s to reference the alignment of universal forces with a person’s experiences.

These forces have been sought out for centuries in many spiritual traditions as a means of aligning with the “flow.” This usually takes years of disciplined meditation, study, ritual or by other means to navigate this journey toward a harmonic “individuation.” To some the search is inward for the self, yet for others it’s an outward search for spirituality.

My first experience with synchronicity was on March 21st at 3:03am which is the 3rd month, 3rd week, 3rd hour, 3rd minute or 3333, on the equinox and the moment of my birth. It was my alignment with the universal forces, the planet, space and time.

My awakening was also through no effort of my own and came by way of a supernatural encounter with an entity of light. It began my involvement with and research into the metaphysical nature of reality - I became “enlightened.” Because of this I have an inherent understanding of many esoteric concepts like the flow, the spirit, one-ness and even divinity.

My experiences are not entirely unique, but the way in which this window of understanding opened for me is. There was no journey, no explanation as to why - the knowledge was just revealed. Things that to many are never more than concepts and metaphors, I actually see as having real form. I’ve witnessed many paranormal phenomena unfold with me seemingly being the only connection. However, because of my earlier encounters I’ve never attributed much of it directly to myself. I’ve always sensed a presence around me. So unlike many others who seek the path, I feel that for some reason the source found me.

Being human however leaves me questioning: “Who or what is this presence?” Abilities like ESP, clairvoyance, telekinesis are all real along with the concepts of a sub-stratum or pre-space. But what is our connection?

In Jung’s book “An Acausal Connecting Principle” it is subjective meaning that connects us. Without an observer (YOU) there is no mind, no synchronicity, no meaning. Thoughts connected to events, mind connected to movements of matter, absent of a cause (acausal). Thinking something before it happens, remote viewing, telekinesis, where do these abilities come from? Since scientists don’t accept the mind as a cause. How then do we prove any of this?

I say that we are using a flawed science because it is incomplete. Physicist, Dr. William Tiller proposes that consciousness is what’s missing from the equation. It’s the unifying integrator of all the individual constituents. Bohm says there is a hidden variable implying that neither relativity nor quantum mechanics should be accepted as a conclusive nor exclusive solution.

My research began with Carl Jung but for millennia prior to Jung man has experienced synchronicity. Theoretically it begins outside of our space-time in the flow where all knowledge exits and our material reality takes shape. It then unfolds into our dimension only to return back to the flow. This is described by David Bohms theory of “the implicate order.” However prior to synchronicity, ancient humanity used words like sympathy, harmony and unity.

In the fourth century B.C., the Greek philosopher Heraclitus viewed all things as being inter-related, nothing is isolated and that all things are linked. Similarly Hippocrates said: “There is ONE common flow, a common breathing. Everything is in sympathy.” A bond - and even between inanimate objects. A form of “animism” or the belief that all matter has consciousness. This is a classic idea whereby separateness is an illusion.

Now what you should know is that Jung had a lifelong interest in and many experiences with the paranormal. Working with him was the Nobel Prize winning physicist Wolfgang Pauli who also had experiences with telekinesis. Catastrophic breakdowns of experimental equipment would inexplicably occur when he was around. It was often joked about, but other scientists feared his presence during experiments because it was commonly believed he was the cause. This is well known in physics as “The Pauli Effect.”

Together they helped pioneer the study of parapsychology. Others studying non-material or fringe science also advanced the field (sometimes unknowingly) by the very nature of their work. Pauli’s early work in quantum physics had a strong influence by changing how we think about matter itself.

A great example of good solid theory is Rupert Sheldrake’s “morphic fields.” He shows us how fields create relationships. Physicist David Bohm’s “Implicate and Explicate Order” as previously mentioned. Michael Talbot’s famous “Holographic Universe” or Physicist David Peat’s “Meaning and Form.” All of these hypothesize a substratum beneath our material and temporal reality. Much of quantum physics is competing theory and it’s the same with non-material science.

Consciousness itself cannot be scientifically quantified - there is no explaining it. Many believe it exists outside the brain, perhaps the Akashic field. Psi-fields, source fields, the flow, these are all conceptual dimensions bound together by abstract relationships. Where consciousness and matter are two aspects of the same thing. These are the domains of the trickster gods where Hermes and Loki conspire to fool us using mind, matter and meaning.

Ok, and although I’m in agreement with many of these theorists about some hypothetical matrix. What is the intelligence behind the curtain?

Since before recorded history humankind has recognized the existence of a greater intelligence. Ask any believer of any esoteric system and you’ll get many different answers. The spirit, God, the Goddess, Sophie, Allah, the Demiurge, The One. History’s greatest scientists came to this same conclusion. Einstein said: “Everyone who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe - a spirit vastly superior to that of man.”

Also Max Planck the father of quantum physics said: “All matter originates and exists, only by virtue of a force. We must assume behind this force is the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter.” Isaac Newton believed the universe was mechanical, set into motion by God and then left to run. There are others who believe that all existence is an emanation of God. Some don’t believe there is an external intelligence at all. This is not my belief!

What many of these theories and beliefs have in common, is that your own thoughts can alter the outside world in relation to you. Though, you alone are not the creator within the flow of the source field. You are simply part of the process. The biggest secret is not that there is a co-creator, but that it’s YOU! Ultimately there is a separate coordinating intelligence in control.

This is what causes events to coincide without your thoughts, like for instance, the moment of my birth: 3333. That’s why we pray or chant, recite mantras, sing praises and invoke - expecting a particular outcome. Deep down inside we’ve always known we were being watched, even in an empty room, we are never really alone. How many times do events align that seem so strange and statistically unlikely to have occurred by chance? They must originate externally. This means, that The Source or The-One controlling it all is out there and not within…

Over the past decade, the hunt for genetic connections with behavior as intensified. For any experience, there must be a physical activity in the brain — otherwise, the experience has no basis. Using this irrefutable assumption, researchers have looked for the seat of anger, criminal behavior, gender identification, the sense of self, and many other aspects of human nature. This includes spirituality. Where is God in the brain? To many neuroscientists, that's not only a valid question but the only one worth asking, insofar as spiritual experiences have any reality.

Now we are hearing about "God in the genes," as genetics overtakes neuroscience for the top spot in explaining the roots of human experience. Where the brain operates only in the present, genetics peers deep into the past. A geneticist would want to know what evolutionary advantage early humans got from being spiritual — in the broadest sense of the word — that led to a better chance to survive. This whole line of inquiry, whether we're taking about the brain or our genes, makes sense if you are a materialist. But it runs the danger of saying that spirituality is only about the physical side of the experience, as if music could never be discussed except by looking at pianos and radios, the physical side of delivering the musical experience.

The materialist explanation is filled with philosophical flaws, but instead of focusing on that, it's more productive to ask how the brain and genes relate to spiritual experience. The physical side must be accounted for, without making it the whole story. To explore a new kind of explanation that embraces both the physical and non-physical, let's examine an experience that most people have had. Without experiencing God, angels, the soul, or other traditionally religious things, almost everyone has had at least one or two inexplicable coincidences in their lives. Synchronicity is the commonly used term for a meaningful coincidence, such as thinking someone's name and having that person telephone a few seconds later, or opening a book at random and finding the answer to a problem you've been wrestling with.

Synchronicity doesn't feel random, which is how it is differentiated from coincidences that have no meaning but happen by chance. The spiritual link involves how to explain a meaningful coincidence. When someone is rescued through a string of chance events, did God intervene? If a car is stranded by the side of the road and a stranger appears out of nowhere to offer help, is God answering a need or a prayer? Events without causes lead to all kinds of unusual explanations.

The term synchronicity was coined by the eminent Swiss psychologist Carl Jung for a phenomenon he experienced with clients in psychotherapy. He first publically discussed synchronicity in a short essay describing synchronicity as an "acausal connecting principle." By using the word acausal he is pointing to the non-local nature of synchronicity. Non-locality is one of the major principles in quantum physics. Non-locality refers to behavior between particles that doesn't need a specific cause or location in space-time. Hitting a billiard ball with a cue entails both a cause and a location. The location is the point where the tip of the cue strikes the ball. The force of the strike is the cause that moves the ball.

But in the quantum domain there is a mystery known as action at a distance, where two particles react to each other instantaneously, even though they can be separated by light years. The action occurs without regard for distance or the limitation of the speed of light. Action at a distance has been popularly explained as "You tickle the universe here, and it laughs over there." Two particles that mirror each other's behavior are said to be entangled, although the mechanism behind action at a distance is unknown. Entanglement fits the mathematical model underlying quantum mechanics, and that is what counts when physics is arriving at reliable, precise calculations.

In the everyday world, however, non-locality is about people, not particles. It's part of human experience to have a meaningful coincidence happen that feels too profound—or too spooky—to feel random. A strict materialist would dismiss such feelings as unreliable and subjective, but "meaningful" isn't simply subjective. Finding meaning in our lives, from any source, is essential. So how can we fit synchronicity into a broader context?

The key is to connect inner and outer, because synchronicity is about an event "out there" that has sudden meaning "in here." To make the connection, nine principles apply to genuinely synchronous coincidences.

1. Synchronicity is a conspiracy of improbabilities. The entangled events break the boundaries of statistical probability).

2. The improbable events conspiring to create the synchronistic event are acausally related to each other. (Buddhist traditions call this interdependent co-arising. This is the equivalent of non-local correlation.)

3. Synchronistic events are orchestrated in the non-local domain.

4. As we become aware of synchronistic events, we move to higher or more expanded states of consciousness.

5. Synchronistic events are actually the result of an intention, which organizes the needed outcome.
(The intention may have been introduced consciously or unconsciously.)

6. Synchronistic events vary in importance. They can seem incidental or can change the course of a person's life.

7. Synchronistic events affect our emotions the way random coincidences don't. A synchronous event creates the experience of emotional fulfillment and joy.

8. Synchronistic events allow us to discover the meaning and purpose of our life.

9. Synchronistic events are personal. In effect they are messages from our non-local self.

Taken together, these principles enable us to receive clues about the essential unity of two realities that seem to be separate: the inner world of thoughts, feelings, memories, fantasies, desires, and intentions, and the outer world of space-time events. The inner and outer are the same field, one non-dual consciousness that simultaneously creates both the subjective world and the objective world.

Therefore, synchronicity isn't simply a passing anomaly that can be shrugged off. Something crucial is happening.

Michael Talbot's "The Holographic Universe" is a must read for all who've tried finding out more about the nature of reality and how the filters of our individual perception are key to what we experience. The holographic model allows us to conceptualize phenomena that have remained on the fringes of science ... synchronicities, psychic experiences, UFOs, poltergeists, spiritual experiences, states of higher consciousness.

In Part One of this two part program Michael Talbot discusses the holographic model of brain functioning and the "implicate order" model of quantum physics. He proposes that these two models combined explain many unsolved mysteries in both brain functioning (such as memory and vision) and quantum physics (such as the problem of hidden variables and quantum interconnectedness).

In Part Two, Talbot discusses his own unusual experiences with poltergeist phenomena and UFOs. He suggests that the holographic model provides a means for understanding these experiences without falling into the twin traps of skeptical debunking or occult romanticism.

Michael Talbot is author of Mysticism and the New Physics, Beyond the Quantum, Your Past Lives and The Holographic Universe. He has also authored four novels. This program was taped approximately six months before his untimely death in May 1992.

On the 7th of July 2007 (777) something truly magical appeared at Eastfield, Wiltshire which looks exactly like the 'Aum' symbol (ॐ) ! In this video below Gary King revisits the time when the 777 Crop Circle appeared and shares with us his insightful connection with the 07/07/07 Aum Crop Circle of Eastfield !

Black unmarked Helicopters were also seen hovering over the formation the following day clearly indicative of an obvious Military interest in the crop circle phenomena, while the media continues to label all crop circles as hoaxes and so on ... keeping the masses oblivious of the truth !

The small circles towards the end of the 3 big arcs in the formation look so much like the ones in the Triple Julia Set formation of Switzerland which appeared on the 8th of July 2010 !

Here's a channeled message from Archangel Gabriel through Phoenix Rising Star about 10 10 10 and it's spiritual significance ...

I asked the angels about the significance of 10-10-10.

Archangel Gabriel replied:

10-10-10 is the new beginnings on a spiritual level. Like the quickening prior to birth, it is the signal of change. It is the feeling of something different, even if you're not sure exactly what that is.

It is the sensation of movement.

It is the knowing without knowing how you know, that everything you've perceived as normal up to this time is now changing faster and more intensely than ever before.

In short, 10-10-10 is the spiritual change coming in prior to the physical change.

This can lead people into a kind of panic if they are not clear about living in their hearts.

Lack of preparation for change, especially when you're not sure what kind of change is coming, leads to restlessness, lack of security, even fear.

Fear of the unknown.

Fear of what is.

Fear of fear.

The important thing to remember, as always from now on, is to stay in your heart.

Spiritual mastery such as this is necessary in order to ascend.

The love-fear-love cycle is prevalent in today's world.

You read about staying in your heart.

You practice meditations on staying in the heart.

You learn mantras, mudras, and postures to open your heart and stay in your heart.

And something comes along that is unusual, abnormal, even different, and what happens?

You drop into the fear.

However, being aware of the love-fear-love cycle makes you immediately aware that you have dropped into fear.

And that awareness helps you to move back into the love faster.

You don't stay in the fear as long.

You don't go as deeply into fear as before.

And staying in your heart is easier and easier.

This is spiritual mastery.

Hence 10-10-10 is making us even more aware of our choice of spiritual mastery, our opening to change, and our choice to stay in our hearts. This solid foundation of love will make all the difference for you in the coming times.

Love-Fear-Love. Choose love. Every time.

I remain your faithful servant, Archangel Gabriel

10-10-10: Spiritual Mastery Meditation

Find a place to get comfortable and close your eyes. Center your awareness in your heart and begin breathing in a rhythmical fashion that works for you. Gently allowing your breath to relax you in your comfortable position. In and out, slowly….gently.

Open your heart to the natural flow of love and gratitude that exists in the Universe. Open your heart to receive this natural flow and allow your heart to feel fuller and fuller, larger and larger…….allowing love and gratitude to flood into your being…….allowing your being to be larger and larger with it. Until you feel so filled with love and gratitude, you become a big ball of light. Light, love and gratitude……….almost floating above the ground………….

When this happens, with your intention, send yourself as this ball of light, love and gratitude down to the center of Mother Earth and rest there a moment. Maintaining your form as a ball of light, love and gratitude………..observe how it feels to be in the center of the Earth…….feeling the grounding…..

Begin sending your light, love and gratitude outward in a pulse into the Earth. Timing it with your pulse. Timing it with the pulse of the Earth……….

Sending it. Sending it. Sending it.

Feeling it expand into the Earth.

Feeling the connection with the Earth….and all life on it…….sending light, love and gratitude with your pulse…..

Until you feel the pulse of love and gratitude coming back to you…….in an ever present pulse of its own………allowing yourself to receive this love and gratitude….as you continue to send it out…..

Sending, sending, sending……..

Receiving, receiving, receiving……….

Feeling yourself grow larger and larger in your ball of light as all this love and gratitude is given back to you. Given to you as you continue to send it. Larger and larger…………grounding your energy of love into the Earth……grounding the love of the Earth into you…………

Until at some point, it just feels complete for now.

When that happens, with gratitude, move your ball of light, love and gratitude upwards through and out the Earth and into the Universe. To the heart of Father Sky…..feeling the expansiveness……feeling the limitlessness………and rest there a moment.

Maintaining your form as a ball of light, love and gratitude………..observe how it feels to be in the center of Father Sky…….feeling the vastness…..

Begin sending your light, love and gratitude outward in a pulse through the Universe……feeling the natural pulse of the Universe and timing your light, love and gratitude with that……..

Feeling the pulse of love and gratitude radiating through the stars and the planets……

feeling their response…..

feeling the presentation of love and gratitude back to you from the stars and the planets in the form of a pulse…..

allowing yourself to receive it……

allowing yourself to grow from it……..feeling your light expand with it……

and sending love and gratitude back through the Universe…..

Sending and receiving. Sending and receiving. Sending and receiving.

Light, love, and gratitude.

Expanding your own light with this energy.

Touching all parts of the Universe.

Because you can.

Feeling yourself making a difference.

Knowing you are making a difference.

Through love and gratitude.

For today, I choose to love rather than judge.

For today, I choose to love rather than fear.

For today, I choose love.

For today, I choose to make a difference with love and gratitude.

Feeling your light radiate into all of the darkest corners of the Universe.

Touching all life everywhere.

Changing all life everywhere.

Changing within your being. Changing all aspects of yourself.

On all layers, levels, lifetimes and dimensions.

Staying in the love and gratitude……….for as long as you wish.

And when you're ready, allow your ball of light, love and gratitude to gently come back into the room, grounding you in your experience in a way that works for you. Knowing you are changed, and you have changed the world with your love and gratitude.

Namaste,
Phoenix

The Red Book, also known as Liber Novus (Latin for A New Book), is a 205-page manuscript written and illustrated by Swiss psychologist Carl Gustav Jung which was not published or shown to the public until 2009.

Until 2001, his heirs denied scholars access to the book, which he began after a fall out with Sigmund Freud in 1913. Jung originally titled the manuscript Liber Novus (literally meaning A New Book in Latin), but it was informally known and published as The Red Book. The book is written in calligraphic text and contains many illuminations.

Carl Jung's The Red Book is considered to be the most influential unpublished work in the history of psychology.

When Carl Jung embarked on an extended self-exploration he called his confrontation with the unconscious, the heart of it was 'The Red Book', a large, illuminated volume he created between 1914 and 1930. Here he developed his principle theories—of the archetypes, the collective unconscious, and the process of individuation—that transformed psychotherapy from a practice concerned with treatment of the sick into a means for higher development of the personality.

While Jung considered The Red Book to be his most important work, only a handful of people have ever seen it. Now, in a complete facsimile and translation, it is available to scholars and the general public. It is an astonishing example of calligraphy and art on a par with The Book of Kells and the illuminated manuscripts of William Blake. This publication of The Red Book is a watershed that will cast new light on the making of modern psychology.

The process of digitally capturing "The Red Book" was done by DigitalFusion.
