The Hoodie may seem like a fashion trend in modern times, however it has a history which takes us back to Ancient Greece and Rome ... and across many other civilizations where Monks, Priests, Warriors ... all kinds of folks wore a robe with a Hood attached, which when donned would give them a sense of mystery and security remaining hidden behind their garb of choice.

The Hoodie seems to be making a strong comeback into the mainstream as many folks choose to remain more private and inclusive rather than being too loud and obvious. I feel the Hoodie does give us a sense of security with a hint of anonymity and intrigue, especially in crowded spaces where we are swimming in a sea of all kinds of energies and being sensitive to energy in such spaces can be draining at times for an Empath.

From skateboarders to musicians to athletes ... everyone seems to love wearing a Hoodie for more reasons than one ! In 1976, the release of “Rocky” added another layer of symbolism to the hoodie. The grey marl silhouette became a symbol of his hard knocks, work ethic, and reestablished the hoodie's connection to its working class roots, reaffirming its look into today's mainstream society.

In the 70s, hip-hop culture emerged in the Bronx, inspiring rap music, graffiti and break dancing. Wearing a hoodie at this time meant you were keeping a low profile, and with a design like a cobra hood it was worn to intimidate others. The hoody allowed unrestricted movement for the dance routines and concealed the identities for graffiti artists on the street.

In California, skaters rejected the mainstream culture, and with the closure of many skates parks skaters maintained their lifestyle however they could, legal or not. To feed the rebellion, music in the area gravitated towards hard core punk and hoodies became a staple of the culture.

2012 was a reminder that whether positive or negative, the hoodie can always be used to make a statement. Mark Zuckerberg caused a stir wearing a hoodie to meet Wall Street investors, which was ultimately seen as a power move. Whether or not this was a intentional tactic, we conclude it convincingly established an identity for Zuckerberg as a non-conformist rather than created a casual fashion statement.

The Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 disappeared into thin air while flying over the Gulf of Thailand on its way to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The mystery over the missing plane with 239 people on board (227 passengers and 12 crew members) has deepened as some of the relatives of the passengers reported to the media stating that when they tried reaching their family members who were on the plane, their mobile phones were ringing hours after the flight went missing, off the radar. There is something strange about the whole incident as it seems to hint at something otherworldly or supernatural at play. Not so long ago an Air France Flight 447 went missing after it entered an electromagnetic storm cloud of sorts ... and disappeared without a trace. It does sound like a case of Teleportation like in the Bermuda Triangle !

A few relatives said they were able to call the cellphones of their loved ones or find them on a Chinese instant messenger service called QQ that indicated that their phones were still somehow online.

A migrant worker in the room said that several other workers from his company were on the plane, including his brother-in-law. Among them, the QQ accounts of three still showed that they were online, he said Sunday afternoon.

Adding to the mystery, other relatives in the room said that when they dialed some passengers' numbers, they seemed to get ringing tones on the other side even though the calls were not picked up.

Here are some other facts concerning the whole incident which leave a lot of questions unanswered ...

• Fact #1: All Boeing 777 commercial jets are equipped with black box recorders that can survive any on-board explosion

No explosion from the plane itself can destroy the black box recorders. They are bomb-proof structures that hold digital recordings of cockpit conversations as well as detailed flight data and control surface data.

• Fact #2: All black box recorders transmit locator signals for at least 30 days after falling into the ocean

Yet the black box from this particular incident hasn't been detected at all. That's why investigators are having such trouble finding it. Normally, they only need to "home in" on the black box transmitter signal. But in this case, the absence of a signal means the black box itself -- an object designed to survive powerful explosions -- has either vanished, malfunctioned or been obliterated by some powerful force beyond the worst fears of aircraft design engineers.

• Fact #3: Many parts of destroyed aircraft are naturally bouyant and will float in water

In past cases of aircraft destroyed over the ocean or crashing into the ocean, debris has always been spotted floating on the surface of the water. That's because -- as you may recall from the safety briefing you've learned to ignore -- "your seat cushion may be used as a flotation device."

Yes, seat cushions float. So do many other non-metallic aircraft parts. If Flight 370 was brought down by an explosion of some sort, there would be massive debris floating on the ocean, and that debris would not be difficult to spot. The fact that it has not yet been spotted only adds to the mystery of how Flight 370 appears to have literally vanished from the face of the Earth.

• Fact #4: If a missile destroyed Flight 370, the missile would have left a radar signature

One theory currently circulating on the 'net is that a missile brought down the airliner, somehow blasting the aircraft and all its contents to "smithereens" -- which means very tiny pieces of matter that are undetectable as debris.

The problem with this theory is that there exists no known ground-to-air or air-to-air missile with such a capability. All known missiles generate tremendous debris when they explode on target. Both the missile and the debris produce very large radar signatures which would be easily visible to both military vessels and air traffic authorities.

• Fact #5: The location of the aircraft when it vanished is not a mystery

Air traffic controllers have full details of almost exactly where the aircraft was at the moment it vanished. They know the location, elevation and airspeed -- three pieces of information which can readily be used to estimate the likely location of debris.

Remember: air safety investigators are not stupid people. They've seen mid-air explosions before, and they know how debris falls. There is already a substantial data set of airline explosions and crashes from which investigators can make well-educated guesses about where debris should be found. And yet, even armed with all this experience and information, they remain totally baffled on what happened to Flight 370.

• Fact #6: If Flight 370 was hijacked, it would not have vanished from radar

Hijacking an airplane does not cause it to simply vanish from radar. Even if transponders are disabled on the aircraft, ground radar can still readily track the location of the aircraft using so-called "passive" radar (classic ground-based radar systems that emit a signal and monitor its reflection).

Thus, the theory that the flight was hijacked makes no sense whatsoever. When planes are hijacked, they do not magically vanish from radar.

The possibility that the plane went through some kind of a space-time warp or wormhole is definitely not ruled out as it does remind one of the mysterious Bermuda Triangle where planes have known to experience similar anomalies and some have in fact disappeared without a trace. I feel some of these planes could have entered a wormhole of sorts to go into an alternate / parallel timeline. If this sounds like science fiction then we must gear up for the surprise of our lifetime as we come face to face with the truth which would then make this possibility more plausible.

Latest Update on Malaysia Airlines MH370 is that it was hijacked and taken to some place in the Indian Ocean, most likely the Diego Garcia base of the Unites States. A man called Philip Wood who managed to sneak in his iphone after being taken hostage sent a picture message to a friend. The message when later traced back pointed at a location in the Indian Ocean, exactly where the Diego Garcia base is.

What's even stranger is the connection between the Malaysia Airlines False Flag and Jacob Rothschild ... with the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines MH370, Jacob Rothschild Became the Sole Owner of the 'Freescale Semiconductors' Patent. Four days after the flight MH370 disappeared, the semiconductor patent was approved by the U.S. patent office patent and was divided in parts of 20% between five starters. One of the owners is the company itself, Freescale Semiconductor, Austin, Texas (USA), and the other four Chinese employees of the company: Peidong Wang, Zhijun Chen, Cheng and Li Ying Zhijong. The 4 Chinese employees were on the same plane MH370 which disappeared on March 8 ... Guess who owns Freescale Semiconductors ... Jacob Rothschild.

The image sent by Philip Wood with the text message is definitely the smoking gun in this case and proves the fact that Malaysia Airlines MH370 was in fact hijacked and then taken to the US Military Base Diego Garcia.

The picture below was sent by Philip Wood, an IBM employee from Texas with the following text ...

“I have been held hostage by unknown military personal after my flight was hijacked (blindfolded). I work for IBM and I have managed to hide my cellphone in my ass during the hijack. I have been separated from the rest of the passengers and I am in a cell. My name is Philip Wood. I think I have been drugged as well and cannot think clearly.”

Coral Castle is perhaps one of America's lesser known mysteries ... A fabulous structure made single-handedly by Edward Leedskalnin who used megalithic stones (mostly limestone formed from coral), each weighing several tons. Leedskalnin originally built the castle, which he named Rock Gate Park, in Florida City, Florida around 1923.

How I See The World is a PBS Documentary on Albert Einstein, one of the greatest scientific thinkers of all time. His theories on the nature of time and space profoundly affected the human conception of the physical world and set the foundations for many of the scientific advances of the twentieth century. As a thinker on the human condition, politics, and all issues of the day, he was as well-respected as anyone in his time.

Born in Ulm, Germany in 1879, Einstein was brought up in Munich. His parents were of Jewish German ancestry, and his father ran an electrical equipment plant. He did not speak fluently until after he was nine and was considered slow. Though his grades were fair in high school, he was eventually expelled for his rebellious nature. Always an individual, he traveled around before re-enrolling and completing school in his new home in Zurich, Switzerland.

After graduating from high school, Einstein enrolled in the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, where he studied the works of classical physicists. By 1900 he graduated with a teaching degree and three years later married his college sweetheart, Mileva Maric. Unable to find a teaching job he tutored high school students until beginning work at the Swiss Patent Office. His job at the patent office allowed much time for independent work and it was during these seven years that he made his most important discoveries.




By 1905 Einstein had brought together much of the works of contemporary physicists with his own thoughts on a number of topics including the nature of light, the existence of molecules, and a theory concerning time, mass, and physical absolutes. The “Theory of Relativity” proposed a revolutionary conception of the physical world, suggesting that time, mass, and length were not fixed absolutes, but dependent on the motion of the observer. Two years later he presented his equation E=MC2 (Energy equals mass times the speed of light squared). With this early work Einstein unhinged the assumptions of the absolute within the physical world and set the course for the scientific investigations of the century.

Though the Theory of Relativity was to be his most famous, his other work that year was equally important. With his publication of the article, “On the Movement of Small Particles Suspended in a Stationary Liquid Demanded by the Molecular-Kinetic Theory of Heat,” he abandoned Newton’s theory that light was made of particles, in exchange for one that presented light as being made of particles and waves. It was for this work with light that he was eventually awarded the Nobel Prize (1929) for physics.

Not immediately recognized for the important thinker he was, Einstein moved through a number of teaching jobs before being offered a research position at the University of Berlin in 1914. Soon after his move to Berlin, Einstein was divorced by his wife and married his cousin Elsa. During the 1920s Einstein’s fame grew and he spent much of this time traveling throughout the world with Chaim Weizmann, the future president of Israel, promoting the cause of Zionism. By the early 1930s the growing threat of Nazi fascism had made it impossible for Einstein to continue working in Germany, and he moved to Princeton, New Jersey. There, while teaching at Princeton University, he continued to elucidate his theory of relativity and work on new theories that brought together our understanding of other physical phenomenon.

It was from Princeton, in 1939, that Einstein signed a letter to President Franklin D. Roosevelt discussing the possibilities of creating an atomic bomb. Though Einstein was never directly involved in the creation of the bomb, it was his earlier theories that had paved the way for its possibility. After its eventual use on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Einstein became a constant and vocal activist for peace—spending much of the rest of his life speaking and writing on the subject. By the time of his death in 1955, Einstein was considered by many not only the most important scientist of his time, but the smartest man alive. It is impossible to understand how different the events of the last hundred years might have been without the work of Albert Einstein.


"How strange is the lot of us mortals! Each of us is here for a brief sojourn; for what purpose he knows not, though he sometimes thinks he senses it. But without deeper reflection one knows from daily life that one exists for other people -- first of all for those upon whose smiles and well-being our own happiness is wholly dependent, and then for the many, unknown to us, to whose destinies we are bound by the ties of sympathy. A hundred times every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life are based on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving...

The ideals that have lighted my way, and time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been Kindness, Beauty, and Truth. Without the sense of kinship with men of like mind, without the occupation with the objective world, the eternally unattainable in the field of art and scientific endeavors, life would have seemed empty to me. The trite objects of human efforts -- possessions, outward success, luxury -- have always seemed to me contemptible.

"My passionate sense of social justice and social responsibility has always contrasted oddly with my pronounced lack of need for direct contact with other human beings and human communities. I am truly a 'lone traveler' and have never belonged to my country, my home, my friends, or even my immediate family, with my whole heart; in the face of all these ties, I have never lost a sense of distance and a need for solitude..."
"My political ideal is democracy. Let every man be respected as an individual and no man idolized. It is an irony of fate that I myself have been the recipient of excessive admiration and reverence from my fellow-beings, through no fault, and no merit, of my own. The cause of this may well be the desire, unattainable for many, to understand the few ideas to which I have with my feeble powers attained through ceaseless struggle. I am quite aware that for any organization to reach its goals, one man must do the thinking and directing and generally bear the responsibility. But the led must not be coerced, they must be able to choose their leader. In my opinion, an autocratic system of coercion soon degenerates; force attracts men of low morality... The really valuable thing in the pageant of human life seems to me not the political state, but the creative, sentient individual, the personality; it alone creates the noble and the sublime, while the herd as such remains dull in thought and dull in feeling.

"This topic brings me to that worst outcrop of herd life, the military system, which I abhor... This plague-spot of civilization ought to be abolished with all possible speed. Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism -- how passionately I hate them!

"The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion that stands at the cradle of true art and true science. Whoever does not know it and can no longer wonder, no longer marvel, is as good as dead, and his eyes are dimmed. It was the experience of mystery -- even if mixed with fear -- that engendered religion. A knowledge of the existence of something we cannot penetrate, our perceptions of the profoundest reason and the most radiant beauty, which only in their most primitive forms are accessible to our minds: it is this knowledge and this emotion that constitute true religiosity. In this sense, and only this sense, I am a deeply religious man... I am satisfied with the mystery of life's eternity and with a knowledge, a sense, of the marvelous structure of existence -- as well as the humble attempt to understand even a tiny portion of the Reason that manifests itself in nature."

Chapter 13 of the biblical Book of Revelation is a very revealing text. It refers to the number 666 as being the mark of ‘the beast’.

But, in the Periodic Table of the Elements, the atomic number for the Carbon element is six. Carbon is necessary to form all DNA and RNA, the chemical code of life as it currently exists. And the Carbon atom has six electrons, six neutrons and six protons.

" If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the Beast, for it is the number of a Man. Revelation 13:18 "

Dr. Max G. Lagally, BS, MS, Ph.D, is a Professor of Surface Science. In 2006, he began developing Silicon membranes in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Body of Light

Internally, all our cells are being changed from an organic structure to a Crystalline structure, the perfect prism through which Light can pass for illumination.

When a log of wood is placed in a fire, it burns down until all that remains is the Carbon element. But if a diamond is placed in a fire, its structure is retained. So all of our cells must be transformed from Carbon to Silicon Crystal so that we can withstand the tremendous amount of Light that will be streaming into the planet from the Central Suns in 2012.

Our Crystalline Light bodies will then convert that sunlight directly into electricity. This is what will power us. We will require sunlight – not food. Our Light bodies will be powered by Liquid Light. Mono-Crystalline Silicon will be the receiver and it will work in conjunction with the elements Gold, Palladium and Titanium.

" Listen, I tell you a mystery: we will not all Sleep, but we will all be Changed — in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. I Corinthians 15:51 "

Not everyone will experience this transformation, however. Many people will choose, at the soul level, to pass on before Earth reaches that time. Still others will leave because their body will lack the Light that will enable them to survive in the higher dimensional level. But those souls whose decision it is to change their Carbon-based cellular structure to the Crystalline form will accompany the new Terra Nova Earth into the Golden Age. They will be able to ascend without leaving their bodies.

In the New International version of the Bible, the first line of Chapter 13 of the Book of Revelation reads, ‘And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea.’ In the King James version, it reads, ‘And I stood upon the sand of the sea.’

It is we who are ‘the beast’…

A mysterious giant spiral of light that dominated the sky over Norway this morning has stunned experts — who believe the space spectacle is an entirely new astral phenomenon.

Thousands of awe-struck Norwegians bombarded the Meteorological Institute to ask what the incredible light — that could be seen in the pre-dawn sky for hundreds of miles — could possibly be.

The phenomenon has been dubbed 'Star-Gate' — as the world's top scientists and the military lined up to admit they were baffled.

Theories ranging from a misfired Russian missile, meteor fireball, never-before-seen type of northern light, 'black hole' and even alien activity were all proposed. Witnesses across Norway, who first glimpsed the space show at 8.45am, all described seeing a spinning 'Catherine wheel-style' spiral of white light, centred around a bright moon-like star. A blue "streaming tail" appeared to anchor the spiral to earth, before the light "exploded" into a rotating ring of white fire. The spiral spectacle — which lasted for two minutes — was seen by vast swathes of the Scandinavian country's almost five million population, with sightings as far north as Finnmark to Trondelag in the south. Totto Eriksen, from Tromso, in northern Norway, was one of the thousands who bombarded Norwegian newspapers with sightings — after nearly crashing his car on spotting the spiral overhead. He said: "I was driving my daughter to school when this light spun and exploded in the sky. "We saw it from the Inner Harbour in Tromso. It looked like a rocket that spun around and around - and then went diagonally across the heavens. "It looked like the moon was coming over the mountain - but then turned into something totally different. "People just stopped and stared on the pier - it was like something from a Hollywood movie." Axel Berg, from Alta, also in the north of the country, added: "It was like a giant spiral - a shooting star that spun around and around. "I initially thought it was a projector but then the 'tail light' left and the spiral remained spinning still." Norway's most celebrated astronomer, Knut Jorgen Roed Odegaard, said he had never seen anything like the spiral before. He said: "This was seen over an exceptionally large area of the country - in all of north Norway and the Trondelag. "My first thought was that it was a fireball meteor - but it lasted far too long. "It may have been a missile from Russia - but I can't guarantee that is the answer. "I rang the Air Traffic Control tower in Tromse. They said it was over in two minutes. To me, that is far too long for this to be an astronomical phenomenon. "This spiral shape is unique. It is definitely not a variation of the aurora borealis - northern lights." Chief Scientist Erik Tandberg, at the Norwegian Space Centre, said that he too was "totally amazed" by the spiral. He agreed with many other experts that the spiral pattern could have been caused by a missile from Russia — something the Russian military have strongly denied. My name is Colin Andrews, and I have been in a unique position since 1983, a position, my friends, that I did not ask for. I was an electrical engineer and a local government officer in England and, one day, as I was simply driving between my offices, a chance glance out of my car window pulled me into this phenomena. As soon as I saw my first Crop Circles, something threw a switch. I was not aware at the time that I walked into that field that, within hours, I was to become one of the only three people in the world researching these phenomena. Within days of that July afternoon in 1983, I joined forced with Dr. Terence Meaden, who was, and still is, the head of the Tornado and Storm Research Organization in Great Britain.


I also teamed up with Pat Delgado, who had just retired from his job at NASA tracking the Mariner Project at the Woomera Tracking Ranges in Australia and Busty Taylor, a driving inspector and light aircraft pilot who lived in my home town. I became known in the area very quickly by tapping on lots of doors: farmer's doors, military doors, police doors - Just about everybody I could get to - asking them what they knew about these things, how long had they been there, and anything else they could tell me. The first thing the farmers told me was that these five circles were not the only ones they had ever had. Almost every farmer whose door I knocked on in that area of southern england told me that their forefathers had these things on their land, and they had all heard them spoken of when they were children. This was concrete evidence that crop circles had been around for at least 30 years.

Each piece of footage is looped, zoomed, and slowed down, allowing the viewer to analyze them closely and even pause and advance the frames manually. The Patterson Footage The Patterson footage shows a dark hair covered figure with large muscles quickly walking away from the camera. This incident occured in October of 1967 in a remote, unpopulated mountain valley near the California/Oregon border. After the incident investigators went to the scene and measured the tracks left behind by the figure. The track measurements were later compared to the figure's feet visible in the footage. This allowed for various other measurements and calculations of body mass and weight of the figure. Those calculations consistently add up to over 1,000 pounds. The figure's bipedal posture creates doubts for many people, because it makes the figure seem "human like". Any primate adpated to full bipedalism will have a human like posture. Human body shape and posture is optimized for efficiency and balance, especially when running at high speeds. Body proportions like those of apes, chimps or other tree climbing primates, are not as energy efficient when walking or running upright. A tall 1000+ pound bipedal primate would have a posture similar to humans, but it would also have different muscle proportions to support its greater weight. Bio mechanics experts say the Patterson figure shows the muscle proportions a large bipedal primate would need, especially if it lived in the sort of rugged terrain where the footage was obtained. People who don't pay close attention to the subtleties of the figure and its movement may quickly conclude that it's a man in a costume. Others see just the opposite. They are familiar enough with the way humans move to see the difference in this figure right away. Earlier versions of the Patterson footage were murky compared to this digital-from-master. They were always 3-4 analog generations removed from the original. Being closer to the original footage makes a significant difference in the level of detail visible. Sasquatch, the wild man of the woods as known to the Native Americans is known by many names today across the world such as Bigfoot, the Yeti, Ape Man ... In the folklore of many Native American tribes, as well as the indigenous people of the Himalayas, the Sasquatch is described as a peaceful, supernatural creature with intelligence and spiritual powers such as telepathy.

The term "Sasquatch" is an anglicized derivative of the word "Sésquac", meaning "wild man". The original word, in the Stó:lõ dialect of the Halkomelem language, is used by the Coast Salish Indians of the Fraser Valley and parts of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.





Attitudes Toward Bigfoot in Many North American Cultures By Gayle Highpine

"Here in the Northwest, and west of the Rockies generally, Indian people regard Bigfoot with great respect. He is seen as a special kind of being, because of his obvious close relationship with humans. Some elders regard him as standing on the "border" between animal-style consciousness and human-style consciousness, which gives him a special kind of power. (It is not that Bigfoot's relationship to make him "superior" to other animals; in Indian culture, unlike western culture, animals are not regarded as "inferior" to humans but rather as "elder brothers" and "teachers" of humans. But tribal cultures everywhere are based on relationship and kinship; the closer the kinship, the stronger the bond. Man Indian elders in the Northwest refuse to eat bear meat because of the bear's similarity to humans, and Bigfoot is obviously much more similar to humans than is the bear. As beings who blend the "natural knowledge" of animals with something of the distinctive type of consciousness called "intelligence" that humans have, Bigfoot is regarded as a special type of being."



"But, special being as he is, I have never heard anyone from a Northwestern tribe suggest that Bigfoot is anything other than a physical being, living in the same physical dimensions as humans and other animals. He eats, he sleeps, he poops, he cares for his family members. However, among many Indians elsewhere in North America... as widely separated at the Hopi, the Sioux, the Iroquois, and the Northern Athabascan -- Bigfoot is seen more as a sort of supernatural or spirit being, whose appearance to humans is always meant to convey some kind of message."

"The Lakota, or western Sioux, call Bigfoot Chiye-tanka (Chiha-tanka in Dakota or eastern Sioux); "chiye" means "elder brother" and "tanka" means "great" or "big". In English, though, the Sioux usually call him "the big man". In his book "The spirit of Crazy Horse," (Viking, 1980), a non-fiction account of the events dramatized by the excellent recent movie "Thunderheart", author Peter Mathiessen recorded some comments about Bigfoot made by traditional Sioux people and some members of other Indian nations. Joe Flying By, a Hunkpapa Lakota, told Mathiessen, "I think the Big Man is a kind of husband of Unk-ksa, the earth, who is wise in the way of anything with its own natural wisdom. Sometimes we say that this One is a kind of reptile from the ancient times who can take a big hairy form; I also think he can change into a coyote. Some of the people who saw him did not respect what they were seeing, and they are already gone."



"There is your Big man standing there, ever waiting, ever present, like the coming of a new day," Oglala Lakota Medicine Man Pete Catches told Mathiessen. "He is both spirit and real being, but he can also glide through the forest, like a moose with big antlers, as though the trees weren't there... I know him as my brother... I want him to touch me, just a touch, a blessing, something I could bring home to my sons and grandchildren, that I was there, that I approached him, and he touched me."

Ray Owen, son of a Dakota spiritual leader from Prairie Island Reservation in Minnesota, told a reporter from (the) Red Wing (Minnesota) Republican Eagle, "They exist in another dimension from us, but can appear in this dimension whenever they have a reason to. See, it's like there are many levels, many dimensions. When our time in this one is finished, we move on to the next, but the Big Man can go between. The Big Man comes from God. He's our big brother, kind of looks out for us. Two years ago, we were going downhill, really self-destructive. We needed a sign to put us back on track, and that's why the Big Man appeared".

Ralph Gray Wolf, a visiting Athapaskan Indian from Alaska, told the reporter, "In our way of beliefs, they make appearances at troubled times", to help troubled Indian communities "get more in tune with Mother Earth". Bigfoot brings "signs or messages that there is a need to change, a need to cleanse," (Minn. news article, "Giant Footprint Signals a Time to Seek Change," July 23,1988).

Mathiessen reported similar views among the Turtle Mountain Ojibway in North Dakota, that Bigfoot --- whom they call Rugaru -- "appears in symptoms of danger or psychic disruption to the community." When I read this, I wondered if it contradicted my hypothesis that the Ojibways had identified Bigfoot with Windago, the sinister cannibal-giant of their legends ; I had surmised that because I had never heard of any other names for, or references to Bigfoot in Ojibway culture, even though there must have been sightings in woodlands around the Great lakes, and indeed sightings in that region have been reported by non-Indians. But the Turtle Mountain band is one of the few Ojibway bands to have moved much farther west than most of their nation; and Rugaru is not a native Ojibway word. Nor does it come from the languages of neighboring Indian peoples. However, it has a striking sound similarity to the French word for werewolf, loup- garou, and there is quite a bit of French influence among the Turtle Mountain Ojibway. (French-Canadian trappers and missionaries were the first whites that they dealt with extensively, and many tribal members today bear French surnames), so it doesn't seem far-fetched that the Turtle Mountain Ojibway picked up the French name for hairy human- like being, while at the same time taking on their neighbors positive, reverent, attitude toward Bigfoot. After all, the Plains Cree -- even though they retain a memory of their eastern cousins tradition of the Wetiko (as the Windigo is called in Cree) -- have seemed similarly to take on the western tribes view of Bigfoot as they moved west.


The Hopi elders say that the increasing appearances of Bigfoot are not only a message or warning to the individuals or communities to whom he appears, but to humankind at large. As Mathiessen puts it, they see Bigfoot as "a messenger who appears in evil times as a warning from the Creator that man's disrespect for His sacred instructions has upset the harmony and balance of existence." To the Hopi, the "big hairy man" is just one form that the messenger can take.

The Iroquois (Six Nations Confederacy) of the Northeast -- although they live in close proximity to the eastern Algonkian tribes with their Windigo legends -- view Bigfoot much in the same way the Hopi do, as a messenger from the Creator trying to warn humans to change their ways or face disaster. However, mentioned among Iroquois much more often than Bigfoot are the "little people" who are said to inhabit the Adirondacks mountains. I never heard any first-hand stories among the Iroqouis about encounters with these "little people" -- for that matter, I never heard and first- hand stories in that region about Bigfoot, either -- but the Iroquois pass down stories about hunters who occasionally saw small human-like beings in the Adirondacks (which are not all that far from the Catskills, where Rip Van Winkle was alleged to have met some little bowlers) (and slept for 100 years -HF). Some present-day Iroquois assert that the "little people" are still there, just not seen as often because the Iroquois don't spend as much time hunting up in the mountains as they used to. many Iroquois seem to regard both Bigfoot and the "little people" as spiritual or interdimensional beings who can enter or leave our physical dimension as they please, and choose to whom they present themselves, always for a reason.

Stories about small, humanoids who inhabit wild places are found in many areas of the world, especially Europe. (The Kiowa tell a story about several young men who decide to go exploring south from their Texas home for many days, seeing many new things, until they came to a strange forest [obviously the jungles of southern Mexico] whose trees were home to small, furred humanoids with tails! This they found to be too weird, so they immediately headed back for home). I never thought to connect the stories about the "little people" with the Sasquatch until Ray Crowe brought up the possible connection. After all, if there may be large relatives of humans living in remote areas, would it be so impossible for there to be small ones? Details that stretch credibility, such as pots of gold, pointed and belled caps, games of ninepins, etc., could conceivably be embellishments added over generations to some genuine accounts of sightings.

Throughout Native North America, Bigfoot is seen as a kind of "brother" to humans. Even among those eastern Algonkian tribes to whom Bigfoot represents the incarnation of the Windigo -- the human who is transformed into a cannibalistic monster by tasting human flesh in time of starvation -- his fearsomeness comes from his very closeness to humans. The Windigo is the embodiment of the hidden, terrifying temptation within them to turn to eating other humans when no other food is to be had. he was still their "elder brother", but a brother who represented a human potential they feared. As such, the Windigo's appearance was sort of a constant warning to them, a reminder that a community whose members turn to eating each other is doomed much more surely than a community that simply has no food. So the figure of the Windigo is not so far removed from the figure of the "messenger" coming to warn humankind of impending disaster if it doesn't cease its destruction of nature.

The existence of Bigfoot is taken for granted throughout Native North America, and so are his powerful psychic abilities. I can't count the number of times that I have heard elder Indian people say that Bigfoot knows when humans are searching for him and that he chooses when and to whom to make an appearance, and that his psychic powers account for his ability to elude the white man's efforts to capture him or hunt him down. In Indian culture, the entire natural world -- the animals, the plants, the rivers, the stars -- is seen as a family. And Bigfoot is seen as one of our close relatives, the "great elder brother" !



The Clackamas Indians (a branch of the Chinook), maintain that in the lands of the headwaters of the Clackamas river, adolescent Bigfeet beings have to pass a test to become an adult members of the Bigfoot tribe. They must jump in front of a human on a trail, and wave their hands in front of the humans face, without being seen.

On the 31st of May, Air France Flight 447 carrying 228 people from Rio de Janeiro to Paris disappeared over the Atlantic Ocean 4 hours after take off. The last messages received from the Airbus A330 indicate they were passing through a heavy thunderstorm and found themselves in the presence of a strong electromagnetic field as a result of which first the computers failed and consequently the electric circuits also went out and all radio contact with Brazil was lost. Here is a quick look at the timeline of events ...


May 31:

22:03 -- Air France flight 447 departs from Rio de Janeiro. (Brazilian Air Force says plane left at 22:30.)


June 1:

01:30 -- Plane has last contact with Brazil air traffic control, where it is 351 miles from the city of Natal.

01:48 -- Brazilian Air Force has last radar contact. Plane appears to be flying normally.

02:00 -- Aircraft hits a zone of stormy weather with strong turbulence

02:14 -- An automatic message was received from the aircraft as indicating a failure in the electric circuit a long way from the coast.

02:20 -- Plane fails to make previously scheduled radio contact with Brazil. Brazil notifies air traffic control in Dakar, Senegal.

05:00 - 06:00 -- Brazilian, African, Spanish and French air traffic control centers try to make contact with the flight, but are not successful. The French military air traffic control center cannot detect the aircraft.

05:30 -- Brazilian Air Force starts a search and rescue mission

07:30 -- Air France sets up a crisis center

09:15 -- Flight was expected to arrive in Paris

11:31 -- Air France announces the following: "Air France regrets to announce that it has lost contact with flight AF 447 from Rio de Janeiro to Paris-Charles de Gaulle, expected to arrive this morning at 11:15 local time."

13:10 -- Air France announces the following: "Air France regrets to confirm the disappearance of flight AF 447 flying from Rio de Janeiro to Paris-Charles de Gaulle, scheduled to arrive at 11:10am local time today, as announced to the press by Air France CEO, Pierre-Henri Gourgeon."

Airlines confirmed that at least a dozen aircraft departed roughly at the same time and traversed approximately the same route, but did not report problematic weather conditions.

The initial reports that came in said there was some flotsam found however soon after it was ruled out that the wreckage was that from Airbus A330 which has further deepened the mystery and added a synchronistic connection with the disappearance of Oceanic Flight 815 from the LOST TV Series.


The Oceanic Flight 815 carrying 324 passengers across the Pacific was brought down by a large electrical magnetic energy pulse (EMP), which was later found to be a released from "The Island". 71 of the passengers miraculously survive the crash and find themselves on the island spread across 3 different sections of the plane crash however connected to each other in some meaningful way.

In the later seasons of Lost as it gets even more complex, it's revealed that the Oceanic Flight 815 never really crashed and a wealthy man called Charles Whitmore paid to transport a plane fuselage with cadavers to stage the debris from Flight 815 on the ocean floor. Lost opens the possibility of time travel and dimensional or frequency shifts making things disappear like a whole island at the turn of a wheel !

In parallel to its character development, episodes of Lost include a number of mysterious elements that have been ascribed to supernatural phenomena. Among the show's mythological elements is a "monster" that roams the island; a mysterious group of inhabitants whom the survivors refer to as "The Others", an organization called the DHARMA Initiative that has placed several research stations on the island, a sequence of numbers that have made frequent appearances in the lives of the characters in the past, present and future, and personal connections or synchronicity between the characters, of which they are often unaware. A 'natural stargate' is similar to an Einstein-Rosen bridge or 'wormhole' which has been theorized to form when space-time is distorted by intense gravitational fields. The Bermuda Triangle is one example. These singularity points are places wherein time slows down in relation to outside observers. Singularity points have been hypothesized to exist at the center of black holes, and it is possible that they exist in other locations wherein space-time is significantly distorted by an intense gravitational field. At a singularity point, time would effectively stop as it dilates to infinity as predicted by Einstein's General Theory of Relativity. This would make it possible for anyone able to survive even briefly, the intense gravitational fields accompanying a singularity point, to emerge into whatever future date they desired. Physicists also consider it theoretically possible for an Einstein-Rosen bridge to form wherein one could travel backwards in time. So a singularity point, at least in theory, offers a means to travel forward or backward in time. It is well known to the "secret government elite" that planet Earth contains many natural stargates or singularity points where it's possible to access portals into other dimensions. What really happened to Flight 447 remains a mystery with the beacon yet to be find. As per the latest update the Brazilian Air Force has recovered 2 bodies and a backpack with a laptop and a passenger ticket from the plane. Love & Light to all aboard Flight 447 !
