A new Star appears next to St. Martin's Chapel (built in the 13th century) situated on the edge of the earthwork defenses of an earlier Iron Age hill fort known Chisbury Camp in Wiltshire. Reported on the 3rd of July 2010.




This formation like the last few we have seen this season has small circles ... each alternate circle has standing crop left at the centre ... in total 40 ... 20 Solid + 20 Hollow ...

Some research on the Chapel named after St. Martin a humble monk.

St. Martin's Day (or Martinstag or Martinmas) is November 11 (11:11), the feast day of Martin of Tours, who started out as a Roman soldier. He was baptized as an adult and became a monk. It is understood that he was a kind man who led a quiet and simple life. The most famous legend of his life is that he once cut his cloak in half to share with a beggar during a snowstorm, to save the beggar from dying of the cold. That night he dreamed that Jesus was wearing the half-cloak Martin had given away. Martin heard Jesus say to the angels: "Here is Martin, the Roman soldier who is not baptized; he has clothed me."

In the United Kingdom however, November 11 is better known for being Remembrance Day !

From the late 4th century CE to the late middle Ages, much of Western Europe, including Great Britain, engaged in a period of fasting beginning on the day after St. Martin's Day, November 11. This fast period lasted 40 days, and was, therefore, called "Quadragesima Sancti Martini", which means in Latin...

"Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" is a 1998 comedy film adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's 1971 novel Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: A Savage Journey to the Heart of the American Dream. The film, directed by Terry Gilliam, stars Johnny Depp as Raoul Duke and Benicio del Toro as Dr. Gonzo.

The film opens with a montage of protests regarding the Civil Rights Movement and Vietnam War, before cutting to Raoul Duke (Depp) and Dr. Gonzo (Del Toro) speeding down the desert of Nevada. Duke, under the influence of mescaline, complains of hallucinating a swarm of giant bats, before going through the pair's inventory of psychoactive drugs. Shortly afterward, the duo stop to pick up a young hitchhiker (Tobey Maguire), and explain what they are doing. Duke has been assigned by an unnamed magazine to travel to Las Vegas and cover the Mint 400 motorcycle race. However, they have also decided to take advantage of this trip by purchasing countless drugs, and rent a brand new Chevy Impala convertible. The young man soon becomes terrified of the drug-filled antics of the duo, and flees on foot. Trying to reach Vegas before the hitchhiker can go to the police, Gonzo gives Duke a tab of "Sunshine Acid", then informs him that there is little chance of making it before the drug kicks in.

This awesomely beautiful 18 fold crop circle formation appeared at Liddington Castle, near Swindon, Wiltshire UK on the 2nd of June 2010.


This wonderful circle has references to Op Art and an inherent magical geometry within its structure. Perhaps indicating worlds within worlds. Dimensions within dimensions. The geometric statement within this formation seems to indicate the many differing perspectives that surround our everyday life.

A challenging and thought provoking circle indeed.

The magnified appearance bears a strong resemblance to a crop circle formation that appeared at All Cannings, Wiltshire on the 30th of June, 2008 ...


Both formations seem to be from the same author(s) indeed .... As Michael Glickman suggests in his review of the Liddington Castle formation, the narrow gaps (doorways/passages) in the formation have to be really well thought of especially if it had to be made on ground and this procedure is definitely time consuming if it had to be done that way and would've certainly caught someone's attention sooner or later :)
