One of the best videos you have on the internet about the Walk In experience which some of us might have gone through, while in a state of lot of confusion and chaos with no 'real' answers, just a deep inner knowing of following the signs being shown. There are many truths shared in this video which will confirm a lot of things for you as you watch it, especially if you are a walk-in too ... giving us cues as to how to pave the way forward and what is expected in our near future on Earth.

My walk in / awakening experience happened while dancing at a jungle party in Goa tripping on some LSD. A brief vision of the astral realms made me question reality at large and everything i considered REAL ! The difficult part was to assimilate this metaphysical experience in my world view with little understanding of this all encompassing spiritual reality we share. I am quite sure that these experiences are common with a lot of folks who experiment with psychedelics, however not everyone. I just couldn't go back to being my old self again for some strange reason. After watching this video by Susan I feel all the signs of a walk in experience match with what i experienced at that time. A withdrawal from my social circle ... a feeling of alienation from the rest of the world not being able to fully understand whats really going on ... with so many signs pointing the way. Thankfully, I was following the signs and soon after my blog, 'Psychedelic Adventure' came into being and a purpose emerged. From chasing my individual goals in life now i was flung into the vast abyss of space, trying to figure out the unknown .... bit by bit.

I did have some support from friends however no one could really comprehend what i was going through at that time. By interests changed drastically and gradually became less interested in worldly matters and more curious to expand my knowing of who I am and what's really going on. My purpose became clearer as time progressed with a lot of support from my dear wife who stood by me during this challenging period of life. While i continued to grasp spiritual concepts and ideas quickly, moving on from one thing to another, I became extensively immersed in my quest to know. My partner however couldn't keep up with all the stuff I was getting into. My world view changed drastically from being ego-centric to something deeply spiritual with an inner knowing that this is the path I need to take. My diet, my lifestyle ... all of it went through some sort of metamorphosis as I was gradually assimilating this knowledge being given to me.

I used to spend many hours in complete silence while pursuing my research online on metaphysical knowledge, which made me a different person as time progressed. I became more observant and sensitive to energies and vibrations around me, often having exciting experiences playing with nature spirits or orbs using my digital camera. The illusions of the material world became apparent as time progressed and I became deeply engrossed in my quest for the unknown. Others around me would listen to what I had to say, perhaps understanding somethings intellectually, but never being able to assimilate this knowing in their own lives. I realized not everyone is awake as yet and each one has their own journey to take. I always spoke my truth without any inhibition and the fear of being judged. There were times when I would get into difficult situations getting my perspective across to others often ending up in arguments which is never a pleasant experience. Its draining to say the least. With time I got to know who is receptive to new, challenging ideas shaking the status quo and who is not, which made me hold myself back from going all out.

I lost the connection with many friends and dear ones who were once very close to me, but what I found instead was the real connection, with everything, spiritually speaking. I realized that behind the masks we wear there is an eternal presence which when known, changes how one sees the world. All attachments became increasingly apparent and were brought to my conscious awareness to be healed or let go off. After being with my wife for 10 years and having two beautiful souls being born into our family, I feel grateful for all the experiences life has had to offer. Some magical and uplifting and some unpleasant and dark. Life comes full circle for all of us ... with time. I experienced the pain and suffering of being in a platonic love relationship, realizing that what I believed to be love was just physical attraction, never a deep soulful connection. Although I did try and revive this feeling in my partner trying to make her aware of certain deeper aspects of being together in a relationship and growing together, spiritually. However, in vain. When two people come together, they believe this thing called love will last forever. The only thing we don't realize is that with time people change and sometimes the masks fall off and the truth emerges. When you move towards being genuinely authentic you have little tolerance for false pretenses, FAKE people and become extremely sensitive to lies and bullshit. When we love in a worldly sense, we fall for outer experiences and rarely find a soul connection with our partners and that's because not everyone truly realizes that they are NOT this body but an eternal aspect of universal consciousness. The mistake we make sometimes is trying to direct someones path, especially when they are not ready to walk it anyway. I have been learning my lessons.

My journey the last year has been a continual lesson in letting go off what is not serving me on my path and the difficult part is to let go off your attachments, your desires especially when they are concerning your family and loved ones. Loving someone and simultaneously letting go of a loved one wishing them well can be utterly confusing as we always rely on someone outside of our own selves to complete us in some way, fill a void we create for ourselves by allowing another person to be the reason for our happiness. Not enough love for our self makes us seek love externally. We know somewhere deep down that all that we seek exists within each one of us ... but it takes time for this realization to come forth in our own consciousness. When we love ourselves enough we are able to extend this love to others, unconditionally and we continue to attract like minded individuals into our lives, building stronger relationships with mutual respect and trust in each other. The future of this planet is in our hands. Our own personal transformation affects the world we experience. Once you wake up there is no going back to your old self and your purpose starts to become clearer. We have a lot of work to do, but first we must heal ourselves in order to be able to heal others around us. The healing of Gaia is the need of the hour and as lightworkers we must endeavor to make a difference and be fearless in our actions, living courageously igniting the divine spark within us.

We may be spread far across ... but we know we are one and we choose to live a life of awareness, purposefully and with loving intent. We are one family of light, destined to reunite when this tyrannical empire comes to an end, finally !

Many of us who find ourselves on a spiritual path, living from a place of conscious awareness are now going through what some call 'The Dark Night of The Soul', which is a term to describe a difficult or challenging period in ones life when all aspects of being which seek healing come to the fore ... many layers of illusions which keep us trapped in a materialistic reality have to be shed. For some it may be a relationship which has for long been on the rocks because both partners seem to view the world and reality from different lenses and some find it difficult to keep up with the other's spiritual growth and progress because they find hard to let go off their old selves. We all have masks, lets face it. How attached we are to these masks and how real we consider the mask to be, differs from person to person. The mask which some call our ego tells us we are separate, an individual entity experiencing life. Its through the experiences life has to offer we learn certain necessary lessons for our spirit to grow and evolve, if only we are paying enough attention.

As an Empath or a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) we are at times challenged by life's circumstances to whether acknowledge our gifts in a largely insensitive world or just ignore them as mere figments of our own imagination. We subdue our true nature by giving in to the ways of the world. Since so many people are doing it, must be right ... and what harm can possibly come from it. We don't exactly understand the universal law of karma, cause and effect. Life can become a difficult proposition if you have to share it with someone who doesn't understand the way you see the world and with time things do change, as we let go off our illusions one by one. Earth is going through tremendous changes and these changes affect us as well, as we are all connected in the larger scheme of things.

We may not know this but we will, in our waking lives be witness to some of the greatest moments of our lives as we birth a new era of higher consciousness on this planet. For those of us who choose to remain rooted in a fear based dualistic paradigm, they will stay back as that's what they intended to create for themselves. And for those of us who have the courage to step outside our own fears and self limiting belief systems, we will be co-creating a new world of peace, love and harmony among all beings and lifeforms who are able to shift their own vibrational frequency to match their living environment. We are finally connected in the infinite web of life, swimming in the ocean of infinite consciousness. There is no right or wrong. Only choices, and with each choice we either move closer to self realization or get further away.

These challenging, soul testing times are what we decided to go through once we chose to come to Earth school. No exceptions. The dark night of the soul we are going through is giving us a chance to shift the course of our life towards a more harmonious way of being. In this process there will be many painful endings which will also mark sparkling new beginnings ... Here are somethings about the dark night of the soul which will probably help you gain some insight about some of the things you might be going through too ... Mitakuye Oyasin ... We are all one, family ... :)

"Dark night of the soul" sounds like a threatening and much to be avoided experience. Yet perhaps a quarter of the seekers on the road to higher consciousness will pass through the dark night. In fact, they may pass through several until they experience the profound joy of their true nature.

Many seekers would encourage the dark night experience if they knew what it was. However, to one engaged in the dark night, suffering seems unending.

The dark night occurs after considerable advancement toward higher consciousness. Indeed, the dark night usually occurs like an initiation before one of these special seekers is admitted into regular relationship with higher consciousness. The dark night also occurs to those who do not seek relationship but immersion or unity in the higher consciousness. While the term dark night of the soul is used broadly, its general meaning — in the field of higher consciousness — is a lengthy and profound absence of light and hope. In the dark night you feel profoundly alone.

You Can’t Fit In

The dark night usually develops this way:

You, as a genuine seeker, have gone through many significant phases as you progress toward higher consciousness. Your faith is strong. You have kept loyal companionship with fellow seekers and perhaps you have already found a special teacher. You’ve experienced indications of the reality of higher consciousness and yearn to be more deeply in communion with it. You see the principles of a higher power at work in your life. Yet, all in all, you find yourself somehow painfully on the outside. You feel caught between your old way of living, your old tendencies and associations, and this nebulous, unreachable realm of higher consciousness.

You feel an exile in both places. You don’t belong in the old pastimes, in the old empty or numbing way of life, yet you somehow can’t fit in or feel at home in the fellowship of those who talk naturally of the higher consciousness and its reality. They are experienced, they are absorbed in it. They are loving, giving people. But you are unable to live, with full heart and mind, the way they do. They’re able to apply the principles of higher consciousness easily, yet it’s so hard for you. They have manifestations and proofs on a regular basis. You only stretch like a human mule after a receding corncob while pulling the heavy weight of your old tendencies behind you.

You try to be good, and often you can’t. You try to be loving and find at times your heart is hard like stone. Sometimes your projects fall down around your ears. You keep struggling and still you don’t break through. You understand the path is one of joy and yet your life seems to have been barren for a month or two, perhaps longer. Where did that early joy and zest go?

Hanging On

Up to this particular time there was joy, there was delight. But now there is only a hanging on, a dogged hanging on. You persist because you can’t conceive of going back to your old way of life. That seems impossible now. That would be like going to prison, living as if with a transorbital lobotomy.

You deeply want to have joy and fulfillment, easily manifest prosperity, but something’s not working. You don’t know what it is but something’s awry, and your meditations have lost their luster. Sometimes, during rare meditations, you do experience brief moments of peace. Your agonizing mind and heart rest from their turbulence and even these fleeting times of calm are so deeply appreciated. Your light dance of life, which had gone on for some time, is now a trudging in what seems a devastated and alien land.

Your fellow seekers look at you and show their concern. Their words of kindness are valued but you feel you’re somehow incapable of responding well. Your heart is numb. At these times your friends try to cheer you up. They invite you to dinner. You seem to perform fairly well, despite the emptiness you feel inside. What else is there to do? You wonder if you have any right to be in their fellowship at all. You think of leaving town, but where would you go? What good would diversion be?

A number of your friends in the fellowship of this great path know what you are going through for they have been through it themselves. They feel the main thing to do is encourage you to go on. They know if you keep it up and do not quit you will succeed. They know if you quit you will be a self-reject and will return to the old life, forever a foreigner, being neither at home with it nor at home anywhere else. They recognize that your own higher self, out of love, is lifting you up into its embrace.

They see you are being drawn into your dark night because:

1. your inner potential has great stature
2. your crusty, old ego requires you go through the dark night in order to be transformed.

You Feel Totally Alone

Other seekers, for various reasons, do not have to pass through the dark night. However, the dark night is your way.

Your night is a very difficult time. While others may one day envy you for the marvelous growth you experienced in such a short, intensified period, you will, because of the pain of your experience, always feel profound compassion for those whom you one day see going through a similar night.

Being caught between the old way of life and the new possibilities, your sense of alienation intensifies. Your sense of inadequacy and not knowing what to do next becomes gnawingly constant. You feel you would do anything to get out of this state, yet it is only your ego which is keeping you in it. However, this insight is impossible for you to grasp while going through your long night.

And you feel so totally alone. Sure, you have friends and you appreciate them, but you are keenly aware they are not capable of feeling what you are feeling or knowing what you are going through. Sometimes they seem like clowns, sometimes they seem empty-headed, caught up in meaningless pursuits. They do not understand, you think, how much you are suffering or how you cry out and pray deep into each midnight. You try their advice but it doesn’t seem to touch the heart of the matter.

You begin to enter the dark night in earnest when you feel completely stranded. In the fullness of the dark night you don’t know where you are spiritually. You’re separate from God and man. You do not know where to turn. Your friends love you and wish you well but your condition does not improve.

The dark night is a very private matter. The person in the dark night is generally able to function quite well despite inner suffering. Often your acquaintances never suspect that you are going through the dark night — they probably do not even know what it is. Only people close to you — especially friends along the path — can recognize your pain.

You feel like a hollow person doing the activities of life with no motivation except expediency. Your eyes seem deeper in your head. You are profoundly aware of the suffering of humanity and the cruelty of one person to another. You feel that cruelty and negativity far outweigh love and constructive action.

You Enter Midnight

Alone, and not wishing to be, unable even to express yourself to others, you enter midnight and the greatest intensity of the dark night. Here you have finally come to the time of sovereign solitude. In this precious time, which has no apparent prospects of love or happiness, you clearly perceive that nothing in the outer world has proven adequate to heal your condition. Nobody, not even your dearest friends and loved ones, can make you whole. Even if they have tried, and love you enough to try loving you forever, they can’t give you peace.

You eye your books and consider all the benefit you have gained from these extremely wise vessels of truth. Yet not one book, not one thought, goes deep enough inside you to where the affliction abides.

You look at your possessions, your money container. No material thing has been able to help you. No material means have worked. Nothing, no one, in the outer world has enabled you to come out of this dark night.

In your loneliness, you next — in a seemingly random process — notice that none of your thoughts have proven adequate to your suffering. Not one — even repeated fifty thousand times — breaks the inner storm and lets in light. God and higher consciousness seem so far away that perhaps they are unreal. Neither one has, despite your protracted exposure of yourself, done anything to ease or remove your agony. Nothing appears efficacious. Nothing works.

Clearly, there is nowhere to turn. There is nothing to be done. All actions you considered have been tried. There is nothing to think, nothing to feel, nothing to do, nowhere to go. It seems you have to accept this defeat — or, you can persist in struggling against it. For awhile longer, you go about thinking, feeling, and doing other options that occur to you. But you realize in the midnight of your soul that you have tried every option you know of.

The Peace Comes

Helpless, totally helpless, as well as ever so alone, you abide in this condition. And you accept your predicament. You accept that there is really, except for a murmured prayer to a remote Lord and a remnant of a shredded faith, nothing else left.

Suicide would be absurd. Suicide would be an act of arrogance and vanity. You have grown far beyond such primitive responses to your private agony. No, nothing to do. Nothing remains in this lonely helplessness. There is, without question, nothing you can do.

You abide. You accept your state. How have you gotten to this place? That’s insignificant. Musings and feelings aside, you wait. You feel you may have to stay this way forever, doing the regular day-to-day things, but in this mood of emptiness. Nothing. Nothing.

Then, it happens. A holy presence comes into your room — sweetly, softly. You feel it filling you. Your mind is filled with mellow or bright light. Your heart, your still heart, is permeated with peace. This peace moves through your body like a cold spring of mountain water. It flows in your spine, your brain, and under your skin. Everywhere.

Also, this presence, this comforter, moves like a breeze across your arid mind and numb heart. Then, or a few days later, the fire of joy begins to smoulder. Here, abiding with nothing more to do, your ego drops away! Your ignorant, arrogant, fearful sense of self falls away from you. You stand in light — a new being, a free being — transformed.

Your Ego Sense

Believe it or not, that’s what the dark night is all about: transformation. Your ego, your limited sense of self, your inadequate complex of ideas about who you are had to be dissolved. Your ego was, you begin to see, eclipsing higher consciousness and your true nature. Your old sense of self was inadequate to your new hopes and proper state. Your suffering intensified because of a major misapprehension. You were too used to thinking of yourself based on inputs from your previous experiences in life. On and on through life, you gathered information and responses from the world which indicated to you what kind of person you were and are. These superficial units of related inputs became integrated in what is called the ego — your sense of self, your sense of who you are. As long as you allowed this inaccurate or only partial sense of who you are to dominate, you could not know or abide in your true nature.

Your ego sense is so powerful — you invest it with so much of your thought and feeling — that your attitudes of life become based on an egocentric perspective. The ego gains a progressively greater foothold on your entire life because your basic attitudes about your existence and essential nature are strongly linked with ego.

Then, your ego sense, due to your suffering or your limitations in life, wants to have more power over circumstances and a more pleasant life. The ego sense often becomes motivated to seek higher consciousness and, thus, greater ability to dominate in life. Not always, but often, it is the ego sense which most eagerly pursues higher consciousness. It wants to be in charge; it wants to manipulate events and make life come out more to its satisfaction. But, as long as your ego dominates, it is on a collision course with your true nature and your higher consciousness. There’s going to be a showdown. There has to be a confrontation sometime if your higher consciousness is ever to emerge, if you are ever to know truly who you are and what your human capabilities are.

Furthermore — and this is extremely important, especially in understanding the dark night of the soul — your ego, as it develops from childhood onward, has the conviction that it is the doer. Generally, your ego assumes that it chooses what your mind will think, and chooses what your heart will feel. It feels it selects the various actions and activities you are going to undertake. Your sense of self, being convinced it is the doer, feels it accomplishes anything and everything in your life. Do you see, then, how the dark night develops? A false sense of self has been ignorantly and manipulatively standing in the way of enlightenment.

Additionally, until you are consolidated in higher consciousness, your ego can return and reestablish control if you let it. Sometimes when you’re fatigued or when you have special, new opportunities in life, you are vulnerable to the reestablishment of your ego and its opinion that it is in charge of doing everything. It will again eclipse the higher consciousness until you recognize what has happened. Then you must courageously and consciously reaffirm your true nature, and deal with the upstart, old ego. Otherwise, another dark night phase will again develop.

Attempts of the Ego

A person seeking higher consciousness is, in effect, and with intensity, seeking the transformation of his own ego. He is seeking to end the tyranny of the ego and abide in his true nature, instead of a false nature concocted through experiences and emotional inputs during the process of life. While it is true these inputs have a value in subjecting you to new experiences and so offer unique learning situations, they often give you a delusory sense of self. You are not your mistake. Even a murderer can change and become a new being.

Still, as you progress toward higher consciousness, your ego may not be humbling and daily transforming itself. You may, instead, have a highly developed ego which is sure that it is causing the events of higher consciousness to unfold bit by bit. Your ego, after all, can be very interested in the attributes of higher consciousness, in meditation and association with enlightened beings. Your ego feels gratification and satisfaction in moving on down the road toward higher consciousness.

Your ego may also have the opinion that, because of its grasp of matters, it will one day establish or — by its thought process and feelings —bring about enlightenment and awakening. It is convinced that it will achieve higher consciousness. This is ironic because by the time of the dark night, the ego is the main obstacle; it is the obstruction of the light of consciousness. It stands between you and your fulfillment. In fact, the length of your dark night is based on the truculence and cunning of your ego. It can fight a very lengthy battle if it fears it’s going to be destroyed or will have to give in to something so much greater than it knows itself to be.

Incredibly, your ego wants to be in on the act of enlightenment. Ego wants to bring about higher consciousness by its own dramatic means. Certainly, it doesn’t want to be granted fulfillment by a power outside of itself. Convinced that it is the doer, your ego holds on for dear life — until that event called the dark night of the soul, when your ego awakens to the profound fact it cannot cause or bring about higher consciousness.

Ego cannot, by its will or any other skills whatever, create the wholeness of heart which will end your deep suffering. In a sense your ego recognizes itself — in the dark night — to be the disease. It recognizes that its foothold on your mind and heart has, at an advanced stage on your path, proven a great numbing agent and a high stone wall against the light. Ego stands against the fulfillment of your faith and the realization of your profoundest yearnings. Finally your ego has found something it cannot do and, in the dark night of the soul, it becomes totally convinced it is inadequate. It cannot deal with your suffering or the fulfillment of the heart’s yearning. Nothing it can do, think, say, buy, or travel to, will in any way suffice.

Dawn of a New Life

Here in this dark night, the lifelong ego sense dies: impotent. Having fulfilled its part, now weak and incompetent, it is dissolved — transmuted. From a higher sense now awakening within you, you slough off your false sense of self. You now know yourself to be a different person than you thought you were. Your ego was merely experiencing some of the attributes, some of the qualities, of your true nature, while at the same time obstructing others.

You, in passing successfully through the dark night, enter the realms of higher consciousness. You’ve been cleansed of the most deep-rooted sickness: your ignorance of your true nature and your inadequate, often totally wrong opinion of who you are. You now cease your inner conflict and abide serenely in your true nature. The night is over. The dawn of a new life in higher consciousness transforms your bleak life of the past few months into one with a heavenly nature. You have been delivered of the intolerable bondage to ego.

Henceforth, you will walk the earth seeing others afresh, living a new life, and abiding in your true nature. You have become a son or daughter of higher consciousness. Now your words and actions will be attuned with your true self. Now you express inspiration and comfort.

The dark night has passed. It is over.

Here, I’d like to talk about the sacred Self; the soul Self; the Atman; whatever you want to call the omnipotent consciousness that exists within, which we can embrace once we know a little bit about it.

The sacred Self (or simply the ‘Self’) is an aspect of Source, and we’ll have to transcend the influence of the ego if we want to open up to it.

The ego, which is a program of the otherwise benevolent mind, will keep us from discovering and embracing the Self if we allow it, and given that we have a lot of work to do to change the defunct manner in which our planet’s run, transcending the ego is among the best things we can do for ourselves and the people around us.

The rest of the world will benefit when we can move beyond the ego and into a place of pure, blissful submergence in the Self, and as consciousness continues to rise, more people will become aware of spirit and the necessity to embrace the infinite Self over the finite, ego-driven self we’ve become accustomed to.

I think it’s important for those of us who’ve become aware to continuously transcend the ego’s influence and put ourselves in a loving, heart-centered space where we can connect with the Self, and until we do, the collective vibration will remain low.

The work we do to bring ourselves and our planet into the light is important, and opening up to the Self will help us with our quest to enlighten ourselves and, eventually, everyone else who’s ready for enlightenment.

Master Lin-Chi describes the Self.

“’Spread it out and it fills the whole Dharma-realm, gather it up and it’s tinier than a thread of hair.’ Its lone brightness gleaming forth, it has never lacked anything. ‘The eye doesn’t see it, the ear doesn’t hear it.’ What shall we call this thing? … You’ll just have to see it for yourselves. What other way is there?”

The Self is basically unperceivable with the physical senses, and it exists within, waiting for us to pick up on its existence. We’ll have to transcend our sense-based perception if we want to perceive the Self, and this goes hand-in-hand with transcending the ego and opening up to Source.

Only when our perception is focused on the spiritual realms will we perceive the Self, and things will flow like never before when we can do this. Our creativity will definitely be sharper, because the Self is nothing if not creative.

I’m reminded of a story about a man who raised his Kundalini to his crown and experienced enlightenment. The experience was so intense that he basically descended into madness for a great number of years before emerging from it to find the greatest spiritual perception he could hope to have.

His creativity flowed, and our creativity can flow in a similar way if we make an effort to perceive the Self.

The more we search for the sacred Self, Lin Chi tells us, the further we distance ourselves from it.

“Right now, all this dashing and searching you’re doing — do you know what it is you’re looking for? It is vibrantly alive, yet has no root or stem.

“You can’t gather it up, you can’t scatter it to the winds. The more you search for it the farther away it gets. But don’t search for it and it’s right before your eyes, its miraculous sound always in your ears. But if you don’t have faith, you’ll spend your hundred years in wasted labor.”

However difficult the sacred Self might be to perceive, it exists within and waits to be picked up on so we can enjoy the perceptual bounties that result. This extended and advanced facet of our consciousness has a lot to offer us, because it essentially is us in a higher form.

The Atman (or the Self) is the revealer of all things, Shankara tells us.

“The Atman is the witness, infinite consciousness, revealer of all things but distinct from all… whether they be gross or subtle.

“It is the eternal reality, omnipresent, all-pervading, the subtlest of subtleties. It has neither inside nor outside. It is the real I, hidden in the shrine of the heart. Realize fully the truth of the Atman. Be free from evil and impurity, and you shall pass beyond death.”

The Self will seem too far away for us to grasp if we feed into vanity, materialism or anything else that keeps us from exploring our spirituality. If we can open up to the Self by transcending any limiting or distracting qualities, however, it’ll seem closer than ever because, in a sense, it will be.

We draw closer to the Self every time we refuse to feed the cultural tendencies that distract us, and when we successfully lighten our vibration, we’ll see how important it was to refrain from choosing vanity over spirituality.

For every lower quality, there’s a higher quality to match it, so let’s embrace the higher qualities inherent in everything around us instead of continuing to live below our potential by knowingly feeding qualities that hold us back. Even though walking tends to be easier, we’re on this planet to fly.

Shankara also encourages us to embrace the transcendent nature of the Self.

“Meditate upon the truth that the Atman is ‘neither gross nor subtle, neither short nor tall’, that it is self-existent, free as the sky, beyond the grasp of thought.”

The Self isn’t limited by the qualities that inhibit us here on earth, and instead, it’s free to move around as it pleases. It’s liberated from every lower-vibrational quality that holds us back, and we have to put ourselves on the same level if we want to align with it.

We have to embrace the qualities that help the Self thrive if we want to access it, and we’ll be glad we employed whatever disciplines were necessary for us to connect with it. We’ll see how much this connection strengthened our creativity and our general spiritual perception, and after getting a taste of the perceptions of the Self, we’ll never want to go back.

In our final quote, Ibn Arabi tells us that the sacred Self encompasses everything in existence.

“The Qualified Total Spirit [is] the Vice-regent. It has no bodily shape and it is not even outside this universe and its heavens, but it encompasses all existence and therein it is present and in control. In relation to it, the highest top and the bottom of the bottom are the same.

“It is present in every one of those degrees. … It cannot be parcelled out or partitioned. If the skies fell in and the earth shattered, nothing would happen to it.”

Given that we’re all aspects of Source’s omnipotent consciousness, it makes sense that the Self essentially is the Source of existence; our creator in a different form. I think this makes connecting with the Self even more desirable, and in time, I’m sure everyone will realize it exists and connect with it.

We can then take it upon ourselves to address and heal everything about this planet that keeps us from thriving, and we’ll do it with the strength and support of the Self, which we’ll all have connected with.

Connecting with the Self might not be easy, but we’ll be glad we made an effort when our minds and hearts are open and we’re awash in ecstatic bliss.

When we can make this connection, we’ll see that we’re never left alone to deal with the pains and stresses that come with living on earth. A lot of teachers have used their connection to show the way for others, and we can connect with our Self just like they’ve connected with theirs.

I think more people will make this connection in due time, but for now, those of us who are starting to make it can raise awareness of its benefits. This is one of the reasons we’re here, and the more people who connect with the Self, the more people who’ll be motivated to share their discoveries with the rest of the world.

The spirit world, also known as the mirror world, is the authentic underlying truth of humanity’s collective evolution. It contains humanity’s truest feelings, ideas, beliefs, and sacred consciousness. The subconscious of humanity was placed inside of beings who are dreamers, people who are capable of holding space and making life sacred again. These are the mamas and the papas, the sacred indigo children, the seers, the navigators, the creators, and the lovers of life. These are the dancers of space and time that shake rattles in their eyes and bring you back to life when they crack a smile.

Each and every human being, every plant, animal, or element of creation has a mirror world/spirit world identity. We exist as multidimensional beings with interior and exterior landscapes. We are capable of manifesting the sacred dream, of transforming nightmares into journeys through bliss gardens, and of healing ourselves above and below, within and throughout our eternal beings. Contained within the authentic mirror world are the spiritual imprints and collective light and dark of every individual human being. These gather together to create actual dimensions that encapsulate emotions, feelings, thoughts, imagery, and events.

The dimensions within these spirit worlds can be journeyed to and through in meditation, and they can be studied and used as tools for an individual’s continued evolution and growth. Within each dimension are contained the coordinates of heavens and hells, of gravity or zero gravity, of grace and forgiveness, of darkness and despair. We are traveling to and through heavens and hells moment to moment. Life and death are part of the same continuum. We are not born and we do not die; instead, we exist as eternal beings participating in an ongoing epic evolution. This evolution is sustained by the spiritual mirror worlds which are paramount to the renewal and resurrection of humanity and nature.

Heaven and hell are not realms that we approach at the moment of death or near death. They are accessed with every imprint that your thoughts and feelings create on life as you journey about your day from place to place, from person to person. We have the potential to create heaven on earth only because we breath gravity and life force into the dimensions and realms that we inhabit with our collective energy output or input. As we change our interior landscape to match the vibrations and frequencies of celestial places, we change our external landscape. We alter the field, we change the course or the wave of humanity’s collective evolution, and we find that we are contributing to something greater than ourselves.

Mind your thoughts and feelings, as they form the path-less-traveled that carries you safely home to a warm embrace, a soft kiss, sunlight on tender skin, water running over sacred stones, and the breath of life that sustains you… moment to moment.

"Vakratunda Mahaakaaya Suryakotee Sama Prabha
Nirvighnam kuru mey Deva, Sarva kaaryeshu Sarvadaa"

Ganesha, the son of Parvati is celebrated in India as one of the most generous and kind hearted, among a pantheon of Gods, Goddesses and other deities that are worshiped in India. The countless number of Gods of India perhaps signifies a time when a huge number of humans living on Earth were aware of their true divine nature, hence were considered Gods. There have also been many things that have been misinterpreted or lost in translation somewhere ... For instance the 33 crore Gods of India is actually a direct reference to the 33 different kinds of families which were considered Gods in their time. Namely, 12 Adityas + 11 Rudras + 8 Vasus + 2 Ashwini Kumar = 33 Families. The last two families of Ashwini Kumar are replaced by Indra and Prajapati sometimes. All of these ancient stories of Hindu Gods and Deities have deep inner symbolism, hidden behind the story. Ganesha's story is a very interesting one, especially when understood symbolically ...

The Birth of Ganesha

One day Goddess Parvati was at home on Mt.Kailash preparing for a bath. As she didn’t want to be disturbed, she told Nandi, her husband Shiva’s Bull, to guard the door and let no one pass. Nandi faithfully took his post, intending to carry out Parvati’s wishes. But, when Shiva came home and naturally wanted to come inside, Nandi had to let him pass, being loyal first to Shiva. Parvati was angry at this slight, but even more than this, at the fact that she had no one as loyal to Herself as Nandi was to Shiva. So, taking the turmeric paste (for bathing) from her body and breathing life into it, she created Ganesha, declaring him to be her own loyal son.

The next time Parvati wished to bathe, she posted Ganesha on guard duty at the door. In due course, Shiva came home, only to find this strange boy telling him he couldn’t enter his own house! Furious, Shiva ordered his army to destroy the boy, but they all failed! Such power did Ganesha possess, being the son of Devi Herself!

This surprised Shiva. Seeing that this was no ordinary boy, the usually peaceful Shiva decided he would have to fight him, and in his divine fury severed Ganesha’s head, killing him instantly. When Parvati learned of this, she was so enraged and insulted that she decided to destroy the entire Creation! Lord Brahma, being the Creator, naturally had his issues with this, and pleaded that she reconsider her drastic plan. She said she would, but only if two conditions were met: one, that Ganesha be brought back to life, and two, that he be forever worshipped before all the other gods.

Shiva, having cooled down by this time, and realizing his mistake, agreed to Parvati’s conditions. He sent Brahma out with orders to bring back the head of the first creature he crosses that is laying with its head facing North. Brahma soon returned with the head of a strong and powerful elephant, which Shiva placed onto Ganesha’s body. Breathing new life into him, he declared Ganesha to be his own son as well, and gave him the status of being foremost among the gods, and leader of all the ganas (classes of beings), Ganapati.

There can be many variations to a story and many interpretations to those variations, here are some of them I resonate with as being meaningful ...

Shiva symbolizes the Soul, who seeks to meet his consort Parvati or Para-Shakti (Supreme Energy), which is symbolic of Kundalini energy which resides at the Muladhara Chakra. It is said that when we purify ourselves, ridding ourselves of the impurities that bind us, then the Lord automatically comes. This is why Shiva, the Supreme Lord, came unannounced as Parvati was bathing.

Nandi, Shiva’s bull, who Parvati first sent to guard the door represents the divine temperment. Nandi is so devoted to Shiva that his every thought is directed to Him, and he is able to easily recognize the Lord when He arrives. This shows that the attitude of the spiritual aspirant is what gains access to Devi’s (the kundalini shakti’s) abode. One must first develop this attitude of the devotee before hoping to become qualified for the highest treasure of spiritual attainment, which Devi alone grants.

After Nandi permitted Shiva to enter, Parvati took the turmeric paste from Her own body, and with it created Ganesha.. Yellow is the color associated with the Muladhara chakra, where the kundalini resides, and Ganesha is the deity who guards this chakra. Devi needed to create Ganesha, who represents the earthbound awareness, as a shield to protect the divine secret from unripe minds. It is when this awareness begins to turn away from things of the world, and toward the Divine, as Nandi had, that the great secret is revealed.

Shiva is the Lord and Supreme Teacher. Ganesha here represents the ego-bound Jiva. When the Lord comes, the Jiva, surrounded as it is with the murky cloud of ego, usually doesn’t recognize Him, and maybe even ends up arguing or fighting with Him! Therefore, it is the duty of the Lord, in the form of the Guru, to cut off the head of our ego! So powerful is this ego however, that at first the Guru’s instructions may not work, as Shiva’s armies failed to subdue Ganesha. It often requires a tougher approach, but, eventually the compassionate Guru, in His wisdom finds a way.

Devi threatened to destroy the whole Creation after learning of Ganesha’s demise. This indicates that when the ego thus dies, the liberated Jiva loses interest in its temporary physical vehicle, the body, and begins to merge into the Supreme. The physical world is here represented by Devi. This impermanent and changeable creation is a form of Devi, to which this body belongs; the unchanging Absolute is Shiva, to which belongs the Soul. When the ego dies, the external world, which depends on the ego for its existence, disappears along with it. It is said that if we want to know the secrets of this world, which is a manifestation of Devi, then we must first receive the blessings of Ganesha.

Shiva restoring life to Ganesha, and replacing his head with an elephant’s, means that before we can leave the body, the Lord first replaces our small ego with a “big”, or universal ego. This doesn’t mean that we become more egoistic. On the contrary, we no longer identify with the limited individual self, but rather with the large universal Self. In this way, our life is renewed, becoming one that can truly benefit Creation. It is however only a functional ego, like the one Krishna and Buddha kept. It is like a thin string tying the liberated Consciousness to our world, solely for our benefit.

Ganesha is given dominion over the Ganas, which is a general term denoting all classes of beings, ranging from insects, animals and humans to the subtle and celestial beings. These various beings all contribute to the government of the Creation; everything from natural forces like storms and earthquakes, to the elemental qualities like fire and water, to functioning of the body’s organs and processes. If we don’t honor the Ganas, then our every action is a form of thievery, as it is unsanctioned. Therefore, instead of propitiating each Gana in order to receive their blessings, we bow to their Lord, Sri Ganesha. By receiving His grace, we receive the grace of all. He removes any potential obstacles and enables our endeavors to succeed.

Such is the greatness of Sri Ganesha! Jai Ganesha!

Something interesting about the 33 Crore Gods in Hinduism ... A small part of the conversation between Śākalya and Sage Yājñavalkya, documented in 'Brihadaranyaka Upanishad - Chapter 3'.

Śākalya : "How many gods are there?"
Yājñavalkya : "Three hundred and three." Then he says, "Three thousand and three."

Śākalya : "Is this the answer that you give me to my question, how many gods are there? Three thousand and three; three hundred and three! Have you no other answer to this question?"
Yājñavalkya : There are thirty-three gods.

Śākalya : "All right!" (not satisfied with answer) ...Tell me again properly; how many gods are there?"
Yājñavalkya : "Six are there."

Śākalya : "How many gods are there. Tell me again. Think properly."
Yājñavalkya : "Only three gods are there."

Śākalya : "How many gods are there? Tell again.
Yājñavalkya : "Two gods are there."

Śākalya : "Tell again; how many gods are there?"
Yājñavalkya : "One and a half gods"

(Then he was very upset)

Śākalya : "What is this you say, one and a half gods. Tell again properly; how many gods are there?"
Yājñavalkya : "One god is there,"

Śākalya : "All these numbers that you have mentioned – three thousand and three, three hundred and three – what are these gods? Give the names of these gods, the deities."

Yājñavalkya : "All these three thousand and all that I mentioned – they are not really gods. They are only manifestations of the thirty-three. The thirty-three are the principal manifestations, and others are only their glories, radiances, manifestations, magnificences or forces, energies, powers."

Śākalya : "But what are these thirty-three?"
Yājñavalkya : "The thirty-three gods are eight Vasus, eleven Rudras, twelve Ādityas, then Indra and Prajāpati – these make thirty-three gods."

Śākalya : "What are these Vasus which are eight in number?"
Yājñavalkya : "Fire is one deity; earth is one deity; air is another; the atmosphere is one deity; the sun is one deity; the heaven is one deity; moon is one deity; the stars are one deity. These constitute eight groups"

Śākalya : "Why do you call them Vasus?"
Yājñavalkya : "Everything is deposited as it were in these constituent principles. Therefore, they are called Vasus."

Śākalya : "Who are the Rudras?"
Yājñavalkya : "The ten senses and the mind make eleven. These are the Rudras."

Śākalya : "What are the twelve Ādityas, the suns?"
Yājñavalkya : "They are twelve forces of the sun, takes away the vitality of people."

Śākalya : "Who is Indra? Who is Prajāpati?"
Yājñavalkya : "The rain cloud can be called Indra. Sacrifice can be called Prajāpati."

Śākalya : "What do you mean by rain cloud?"
Yājñavalkya : "By rain cloud I do not actually mean the cloud, but the lightning which is the embodiment of energy."

Ayahuasca, the ‘spirit vine’ is a brew containing the Banisteriopsis caapi vine and Psychotria viridis or Diplopterys cabrerana leaves. The vine contains harmine and harmaline which are MAO-A inhibitors, and tetrahydroharmine which is a weak serotonin uptake inhibitor. The leaves contain dimethyltryptamine (DMT), the strongest hallucinogenic known to man.

When ingested, the combination of these plants lead to the uptake of DMT by your brain where it will alter your perceptions of reality. Many claim these are visions where the Ayahuasca goddess will talk to you, giving you knowledge from the spirit world.

Here is one such magical journey with Ayahuasca in the Amazon as shared by Jonathon Twiz ...

So I just got back from Peru a couple weeks ago and aside from doing all the touristy stuff like going to Machu Picchu, I spent most of my time in the Amazon Jungle. It was more than a vacation for me, it was an experiment, a journey, a foot step in my ongoing insatiable quest for the ultimate reality. To tell you the truth what led me to the Rain Forrest was a Psychedelic Plant that has been used for thousands of years by the Indigenous people of the Amazon. While in the Jungle I took this powerful plant and…

this is what happened……

Many people who take Ayahuasca take it because they want to overcome fears, depression, addiction or any other negative pattern of behaviour. Some take it simply because they want a spiritual journey. I’m pretty upfront, honest, and direct with myself and the things that happen in my life so I felt I had conquered all my fears, I didn't have any demons or addictions to overcome, I was just really curious to see if Ayahuasca can take me on a spiritual journey and open my eyes to the unknown. Maybe I did have fears that I was unaware of, buried deep in my subconscious, and the Ayahuasca might bring that out. People had told me that you may end up seeing things that scare the shit out of you. Regardless I had already committed to it and I was of the thinking that if I think I will have a negative experience, then I will have one, if I’m confident that I won’t (which I was) then I won’t have a negative journey.

Before we get into what happened I will briefly summarize that my Ayahuasca experience was more emotion based than visual. I still saw things but I felt things much more than I saw. It was almost like there was a psychic connection between me and the universe. I would ask something and the energy would just pass through my body and it would manifest as information without the need for a visual. Have you ever felt the presence of someone and then they call you 2 seconds later? Ever wonder how animals can feel danger before it comes, like the animals who made a run for the hills hours before the Tsunami? You didn't see anything before that person called you, you just felt it. The animals didn't see anything, they just felt it. Some unexplained energetic force transmitting the vibration of something or an event, who knows, I’m just trying to make sense of it. That is the kind of thing I was feeling, on a larger scale. You’d really have to feel it before you can fully understand what I’m saying but that is the best way I can explain it. I was feeling Information………. No, I didn't walk away with psychic powers but during the trip, that was the experience.

Another thing about Ayahuasca is that it makes you vomit. The Scientific (left brain perspective) is because the plant is a purgative. It causes your gallbladder to dump bile, your digestive tract to work overtime, and frequently to expel its contents, but it is also part of the medicinal qualities of the plants. They are known to detox your body and kill parasites and unhealthy bacteria in the digestive system. The Spiritual (right brain perspective) is such that when you use it to heal you and work with you, it is supposed to remove the negative energies inside of you that cause you harm. This happens on a physical, mental and emotional level. Sometimes releasing a negative stored emotion or harmful mental pattern is experienced in your body in a physical way as a powerful purge (a vomit).

I took Ayahuasca 3 times and I never vomited. My stomach was aching a lot but I never threw up. I wondered if it was because I didn’t have any negative energy, emotions, behaviours, etc to release. Or was my dose of Ayahuasca less powerful? The guy that gave me the Ayahuasca “Orlando a.k.a The Dragon”, an indigenous native of the Quechua people, has a reputation of being one of the most intense Ayahuasca Shamans so I kind of doubt it wasn't powerful enough. So lets fast forward to my first intake.

After taking the Ayahuasca I began to see Vines, Roots, and Branches surrounding and wrapping all over my body. My stomach was aching, there was a Revolution going on in my belly. My body became plant like. My stomach and intestines became roots and vines twisting, turning, wrapping and overlapping each other as my stomach ached. The movement of the roots and vines were in sync with the movement of my bowels. As my bowels moved more aggressively, so did the roots and vines. As my bowels slowed and calmed, so did the roots and vines. It was a constant speeding and slowing down of the branches. Other parts of the roots and vines covering my body were in sync with my heartbeat, pulsating with it. The third movement of the roots and branches I saw was that of my thoughts. Every thought that popped into my head manifested as a new root or vine springing into existence. The stream of consciousness was intense, and so were the movements of the plant appendages I was seeing, all in sync with my thoughts. When my thoughts slowed down, so did the flow of vines, when my thoughts became numerous, so did the vines. I saw both my thoughts, and the vines/roots/branches that represented each thought simultaneously. The vines and roots were the manifestations of my physical (bowels, heartbeat) and my nonphysical (thoughts, consciousness) all synced with different aspects of my mind and body. It felt like I had a symbiotic relationship with the vines and roots, kind of like what Venom’s suit is to Eddie Brock. It was like I had become a plant.

It soon began to feel like I was in between worlds. In between this reality and in between another. Not fully immersed in either. It was like I was experiencing both worlds at the same time. It seemed as if I was peering into another dimension. It was like I was in a lower vibration world where I saw this entity. It glimpsed into my world and we both made eye contact briefly. It had an expression on its face that appeared as though I should not have seen what I saw. It looked humanoid but still different enough to not be human. It was parasitic in some way in the sense that it was dependent on the life force energy of living things outside of its dimension.

After peering into that world I began to see life through the eyes of other people who were suffering. I saw life through the eyes of a woman with cancer unable to pay for her treatment and perpetual slave to the pharmaceutical industry. I looked out at the world through the eyes of an old Indian man who had to walk miles to bring back a jug of clean drinking water he was carrying on top of his head for his family to drink. I was a tree in the rain forest watching myself about to get cut down by a logger. I don’t know if any of these people were real but the pain and struggle of the world was manifesting to me as a first person experience of it.

After seeing this I began thinking about how I wanted to save the world from its destructive careless path, help people, enhance the human condition and I became frustrated as I became to be aware of some undoubtable obstacles I will encounter as I try to execute my plans. As I felt this, the branches/vines/roots instantly wrapped and contorted its shape into the figure of a woman. She began to rub my back and neutralize the negative feeling of my endeavour being futile. She tried to instill confidence in me.

As I was coming down from the trip I felt an over whelming sense of happiness. Maybe the Ayahuasca flooded my brain with whatever chemical does that, or I could have just caught a wave of super positive energy or something, but I felt extremely happy, not in the sense that I needed the Ayahuasca to be happy, but it was an extra boost of happiness. I felt like a billion bucks, I felt invincible, I felt like I could accomplish anything.

As I was trying to sleep for the rest of the night I heard and saw the silhouette of Bats flying over my face, coming within about 3 to 4 inches of my face. I could hear and feel the air from their flapping wings. It was hunting insects during the night. I felt like Bruce Wayne from the dark knight, the scene where the swarm of bats are flying over his head. I just laid there in bliss admiring the beautiful display of bat silhouettes at night until I fell asleep.

The next morning I walked out of the hut stumbling and unable to walk properly. I felt like a baby just learning to use its body. I was walking very stilted with a discontinuity in my step. After the first time I took Ayahuasca, I seemed to have a profound curiosity and awareness for the most insignificant things, from the blades of grass, to the pebbles by the river. Eventually I caught a glimpse of a chicken and became super curious and interested about what was going on it’s mind. Yes. The chicken’s mind. I stared at it for 5 minutes with a FUBAR look on my face, slightly hunched over like a Zombie. “Why are you so afraid of me Chicken?” I kept thinking. The chicken ran away, I slowly followed it and saw what appeared to be a Jaguar. I thought to myself “Oh Shit, a Jaguar?”. After looking at it from a distance and not seeing it move. I thought to myself “maybe it’s just a tree stump”. Still I continued to stare and notice no movement. So I approached it slowly, cautiously and soon realized it was just a tree stump. The wood and black dots made it appear to be a Jaguar from a distance. I also didn't have my glasses on from the distance I saw it. Add some FUBAR to that equation and you get a Jaguar hallucination.

The second time I took the Ayahuasca I had been left alone outside in the Amazon Jungle. Orlando walked me out there a few days prior and told me I need to stay out here by myself to absorb the energy of the jungle. I need to be in isolation, not coming in contact with people because they are not on the Dieta. A Dieta is the Ayahuasca diet which includes special vegetarian foods in addition to the Ayahuasca drink that is supposed to make your body more pure and allow the Ayahuasca to give you a positive experience. No sugar, no salt, no alcohol, no sex. He told me if you come in contact with people who have done this recently, their energy could mess up the equilibrium of your energy, and it’s not good for your Ayahuasca experience.

The second reason he wanted me alone in the Jungle with no books, phone, computer, or contact with the outside world is because all I would have out there is my mind, which would start the process of deep self reflection and introspection. For the first 5 minutes I was a little worried, what if I get bit by a poisonous spider or snake. What if a Jaguar comes, I soon realized there were no large animals here, and the jaguars go where the food is, so therefore no Jaguars, its just the smaller poisonous suckers out here that will mess you up. Orlando told me “Trust the Jungle”, and I took his word for it. The Ayahuasca had instilled more confidence (because I was still on cloud 9) about the situation so I was able to get over the fear in about 5 minutes.

So after a few days in the Jungle alone I took my second Ayahuasca drink. I didn't feel the effect until hours later. My stomach was turning once again, but I was not feeling or seeing anything. I became frustrated and soon felt that this Ayahuasca thing was all bullshit and my first experience was just a fluke, a hallucination. But just as I was about to give up on it, the Ayahuasca revealed itself. I slowly began to feel it. I began to see vines and roots slowly twirling and reaching down toward me from above. The colors of it were shifting, changing, and pulsating. It felt like I was in the mind of the Jungle. I was surrounded by clusters of brain cells. Only difference is that the clusters were made out of plant matter. The brain cells were connected to each other by branches and vines and roots.

It was communicating with me through an exchange of energy. We were both different entities, built, programmed, and evolved very differently. This created a communication barrier which is why our physical manifestations, our DNA, our bodies, was stripped away leaving only behind raw conscious energy between the 2 of us. That was how we would communicate. The same way an Apple Computer, and a PC are built and coded differently, they both fundamentally share the basic machine language of 1’s and 0’s. They are just manifested differently through different programming languages. It was like me and the Jungle were talking in 1’s and 0’s, the basic energy based communication of the universe. Our energies were interacting in a very raw form without the barrier of our DNA (programming) and physical bodies (hardware) getting in the way. No words, just energy and feeling. In this third dimension if you go out to a Forrest and try to talk to it, obviously it would not converse with you because it doesn't have the ability to talk and hear you. But if your energy and its energy interact with you, it’s a different story, a different communication form.

I kept feeling an energy force spiraling upward all around me. Every time I tried to quantify it, understand it better, the energy immediately solidified into a thick branch feeling as heavy as a large rock. When it did this it would drive my hands back to where they came from, turning the upward motion into a downward motion, as if I wasn’t supposed to touch it.

I asked the Jungle about a situation that was bothering me. 2 of my family members had been fighting on and off for as long as I can remember. They constantly don’t get along. I asked the Jungle why it is like this between them. I saw the jungle search every inch of its brain cell cluster, seeing different brain cell clusters light up here and there with bright neon green and neon blue. It could not give me a specific solid answer. All it could show me was this negative energy between them. It coughed up a black negative energy with a white outline and rings of neon green spiraling out from the center. As it spit this energy out at me, I began to feel it. Once I felt it I began feeling the stomach pains more intensely, it made me feel nauseous.

The second question I asked the Jungle was, “is there life throughout the universe?” It showed me an Alien race that has been keeping an eye on earth like scientist watching bacteria in a Petri dish. They were waiting to see if we evolve to the point where it would be proper to engage with us. They generally care for our evolution but feel we are not mature enough to interact with them.

Then the jungle showed me entities that are leaching off of the life force energy of earth. The energy I felt for these negative entities made me feel sick in my stomach again, the feeling of nausea and wanting to vomit came back.

I asked it who I was in a past life. Again, no specific answer but I felt the energy and presence of various people, every race, different creeds, and socioeconomic statuses was present. The jungle emphasized to me that people should not be discriminating one and other because they are likely discriminating something that they once were in another lifetime.

I asked it how I can be successful with a big project I had been working on for some time. It did not show me anything new but rather reassured me that a course of action I had previously planned, but doubted and hesitated to execute, is the correct path and I should therefore continue with that plan in order to see my success come to fruition. After this I had begun to come down from the trip.

The second Ayahuasca experience was very exhausting. It felt like an excessive amount of energy was zipping through my body. It was like plugging a toaster into a nuclear power plant generator. I was the toaster, the Jungle was the power plant. Its energy was just too much for my body to handle. After the experience I felt like a rape victim who had been left for dead on the side of the road. My bottom lip could not stay fully closed for some reason, therefore saliva (The Ayahuasca made me salivate a lot) had been seeping out of it all night. I didn’t have the energy nor did I care to wipe my mouth (because my mind was still overwhelmed and fixated on my visions). My head was just lying on my pillow completely awe struck. I fell asleep and woke up with half my face covered in my own warm swampy saliva. Much of the pillow was soaked. I picked up a face cloth and wiped my face, rested my head back on my pillow as I listened peacefully to the sounds of birds chirping, and poison dart frogs croaking.

I contemplated asking Orlando not to give me my third and final dose of Ayahuasca. The energy and the stomach pains were too powerful. I thought he might get offended if I ask him not to give me another; I was ready to quit, pull the plug and withdraw like a coward. But I put things in perspective, to come all this way here and not fully embrace and experience what I set out to do, thats a waste of time, so I remained.

Was I talking to the Jungle? It felt like it. Or maybe I was communicating directly with Source, the infinite energy of the universe and it was manifesting itself as the Jungle or using the Jungle as a medium to connect with me, who knows, we don’t know what we don’t know. This experience showed me that you can communicate with anything that has life force energy. Even if it does not possess a sentient consciousness, your energies can still interact in a non physical way. Communication and information can be exchanged beyond the 5 senses, through raw emotion, raw energy. The energy of the jungle was rushing into my pineal gland.

My third experience was a little more far out there and personal, and to tell you the truth, I’m still trying to make sense of it so I’m just gonna keep that to myself. Over all I’m grateful and happy for my experience and I’d do it again. If you are curious about taking Ayahuasca, and are prepared to ruff it out in the Jungle, I encourage you to get in touch with Orlando (don’t judge his website, he doesn’t care for his internet presence, but he is legit). Also, check out my other article on Natural Psychedelics here.

This experience was not a worship of the Jungle for those of you of the religious persuasion. And some of you more skeptical minded individuals may think this was all a hallucination, which is a reasonable conclusion. It is difficult to convince someone of what you saw unless they take the journey themselves, especially in this evidence based world. But at least take this into consideration.

Physicists are just beginning to explore the possibility of us living in a somewhat holographic universe. “Energy fields are decoded by our brains into a 3D picture, to give the illusion of a physical world. Despite its apparent materiality, the universe is a kind of 3-D projection and is ultimately no more real than a hologram. Our brains mathematically construct objective reality by interpreting frequencies that are ultimately from another dimension, a deeper order of existence that is beyond both space and time”

We don’t exactly SEE the universe because what we see is the quantum information that the brain interprets as electrical signals giving the experience of physical matter. I’m no scientist but it could be that the DMT in the Ayahuasca makes your Pineal gland more sensitive to the frequencies of other dimensions, higher or lower vibrational realities. You could exist in infinite realities, there could be a version of yourself that is perfectly enlightened, and a version of yourself that is completely negative. Thus the higher self and the lower self may manifest from these different realities. The Ayahuasca could have your higher self connecting with you and guiding you, or some other higher reality entity, or Source itself. Who knows, it’s hard to make sense of it all by yourself, but to say that this is all a hallucination, you have to prove that. Just as there is not enough concrete scientific results to prove that these experiences are real, on the flip side, there also isn’t enough evidence to say it’s all bullshit. It would be more accurate to say that this is an unknown, rather than writing it off as a hallucination…….. I’m just sayin. As for me, I honestly sincerely feel I spoke to the Jungle.

Dr. Konstantin Korotkov, a physicist born in Russia has been making some remarkable discoveries which have taken Kirlian photography to another level.

A true pioneer in his field, Dr. Korotkov along with his research team has developed a camera that not only photographs plant (and human) energy fields, but is able to report on the effectiveness of medical remedies for specific conditions. It's called the GDV and, Korotkov says, makes the old Kirlian cameras look like a bicycle compared to a Mercedes.

Anyone, who is still looking for proof for the existence of a soul inhabiting the human form, need look no further ... Here is the evidence you've been looking for !

The timing of astral disembodiment in which the spirit leaves the body has been captured by Russian scientist Konstantin Korotkov, who photographed a person at the moment of his death with a bio-electrographic camera.

The image taken using the gas discharge visualization method, an advanced technique of Kirlian photography shows in blue, the life force of the person leaving the body gradually.

According to Korotkov, navel and head are the parts who first lose their life force (which would be the soul) and the groin and the heart are the last areas where the spirit remains before surfing the phantasmagoria of the infinite.

In other cases according to Korotkov has noted that "the soul" of people who suffer a violent and unexpected death usually manifests a state of confusion in your power settings and returns to the body in the days following death. This could be due to a surplus of unused energy.

The technique developed by Korotkov, who is director of the Research Institute of Physical Culture, St. Petersburg, is endorsed as a medical technology by the Ministry of Health of Russia and is used by more than 300 doctors in the world for stress and monitoring progress of patients treated for diseases such as cancer. Korotkov says his energy imaging technique could be used to watch all kinds of imbalances biophysical and diagnose in real time and also to show if a person does have psychic powers or is a fraud.

This technique, which measures real-time and stimulated radiation is amplified by the electromagnetic field is a more advanced version of the technology developed for measuring Semyon Kirlian aura.

Korotkov observations confirm, as proposed by Kirili, that "stimulated electro-photonic light around the tips of the fingers of the human being contain a coherent and comprehensive statement of a person, both physically and psychologically."

In this video interview Korotkov speaks of the effect in the bioenergy field with food, water and even cosmetics.

Korotkov also speaks of their measurements which are supposedly loaded with power and influence that people have in the bioenergy fields of others. Checking Rupert Sheldrake's experiment of the feeling of being watched : Because a person's bioenergy field changes when someone else directs his attention, even though it is backwards and not consciously perceived. Also a place's fields are altered when there is a concentration of tourists.

Also warns of cell phone use and their negative radiation often being carcinogenic, which several studies seem to confirm.

Korotkov is optimistic that this new scientific field is being taken seriously especially in Russia, where some schools are teaching children to recognize and use energy, and not as a suspect but as a metaphysical quantifiable fact.

Many of us still choose to live in ignorance of this spiritual reality that encompasses all ... We are first spiritual beings before we attach ourselves to other labels which seem to define the 'ego' we call 'I'. It is this identification with the Ego that creates the illusion of separation and it too serves the purpose of creating a unique experience for the spiritual being, you, who chose to come into this body, this time around ... to learn , to love ... to experience what we call life.

Some of us have had direct experiences which have awakened us to our true spiritual nature while there are some of us who have the opportunity to learn through others experiences which are testimony to the fact that we are all eternal beings of light. Beyond our belief systems there is an infinite sea of knowledge which opens up consciousness to its connection with consciousness everywhere ... we are that consciousness and will always be ...

Here is a fascinating documentary titled "The Afterlife Investigations" about the after life and our interaction with the unseen spirit world.

Narrated by Britain’s leading investigative journalist Donal MacIntyre, this award-winning film presents the most compelling scientific evidence for life after death ever presented in any documentary. Full of never-before-seen material we explore four astonishing afterlife investigations.

The Scole Experiment

For five years a group of researchers and mediums came together in the tiny English village of Scole. During five hundred investigations they produced more evidence for the possibility of life after death than any other experiment in the history of the paranormal. The events at Scole were so spectacular and so regular it was possible for a team of internationally renowned scientists to investigate the phenomena under strictly controlled conditions. They described the Scole Experiment as ‘the greatest afterlife experiment ever conducted in the Western world.’

Some of the amazing events witnessed by the scientists included: two-way communication with a group of deceased personalities via the mediums; video recordings of spirit faces; hand written messages which appeared on factory-sealed, unopened photographic film; the materialization of solid spirit forms and many more ‘miraculous’ events that broke all known laws of science. Publicity for the Scole Experiment will soon explode. A US production company is currently dramatizing the story into a two-hour special for a major US broadcaster.

Marcelo Bacci

In Italy we explore the work of internationally famous medium, Marcelo Bacci. For years, thousands of grieving parents from around the world have visited his centre. Many say they can hear the voices of their deceased children speak through his radio. Our cameras were able to capture this extraordinary process as it happened. Mothers weep with joy as they recognize the voices of their departed children.

Scientific investigations into Bacci include voice print analysis using FBI software. Recordings of people’s voices before they died have been compared to those emerging from Bacci’s radio have produced a 97% match. This is the first time Bacci’s work has appeared in a UK/US production.

Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP)

Recently popularized in the Hollywood blockbuster - White Noise - practitioners of the Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) claim to be able to pick up the voices of the dead using simple tape recorders. In the US we visit a mother who claims to have ongoing communication with her deceased son via EVP. Since his death twenty years ago, she has produced hundreds of clear EVP samples. She is convinced they originate from her son because she is able to recognize his voice and the audio contains specific phrases that only he used.

Critics say EVP is just the pick up of stray broadcast signals. But we follow a former NASA scientist, and the world’s leading EVP researcher, into a laboratory that is totally shielded from all sound and electromagnetic signals. Despite it being a scientific impossibility he is able to produce an EVP sample in front of our cameras.

Allison DuBois

Allison DuBois is the most famous medium in the world. Her real life abilities are dramatized in NBC’s hit TV series Medium staring Patricia Arquette. During the production of this film the chief investigator into the Scole Experiment died during a lecture presentation. Our cameras captured this tragic event. We then challenged Dubois to take part in a controlled experiment. Could she contact the dead scientist? As we filmed she was able to accurately describe how and where he died. Her description is intercut with footage of his death to show just how well Dubois succeeded.

Have these Afterlife Investigations finally provided definitive scientific evidence for life after death? You decide.
